Meanwhile, they feel their peculiarity already in childhood, when they understand that they cannot, for example, just go out into the yard. Younger ages are a period of particularly intensive learning, which is of great importance for the further development of the individual. but it also trains willpower and teaches responsibility for yourself and your loved ones, which often helps you achieve success in life. As you know, people with poor vision have enhanced other senses, usually hearing. People with cerebral palsy and deaf-mute people often exhibit creative abilities. People with disabilities can go to school, have a job, get married, support a family, and live in their own home. They may be limited physically, but they are limitless in their abilities, talents and desire for self-expression. Thanks to the enormous strength of spirit and will, these people can achieve success in a wide variety of fields: science, business, artistic creativity, art, sports. Very often, people with disabilities can achieve more than completely healthy people. Various sports competitions for the disabled and Special Olympics have been held for many years. And disabled athletes often show results that not every healthy person can achieve even with hard training!

Disabled people are people with disabilities who have permanently or long-term impairments of some important body functions. Disability is given to people in order to make their lives better with the help of social benefits, payments and other measures and bring them closer to the lives of people who have normal functions. People with disabilities need help and support from healthy people. After all, many become disabled by tragic accident. Each of us wants to live life to the fullest, communicate with each other and learn new things, and each of us has our own characteristics. People with disabilities are people just like any of us. They are almost no different, only they wear glasses with thick lenses, a hearing aid, use assistive technology for movement, special books for reading, take certain medications or are limited in the intake of certain foods, etc. And to communicate or collaborate with these people, certain rules must be followed. This is what we will talk about today.

Studies. There are special educational institutions for the blind and visually impaired: general education, vocational and technical schools, music schools, massage schools, etc. The blind “see” with their fingers, they read and write using the embossed Braille system. Job. Work on the phone (dispatcher) and with your hands (in production, massage, music). Among the products created by the blind at special training and production enterprises of the VOS are medical instruments, electrical and radio engineering parts, parts for cars and agricultural machinery, etc.

Cerebral palsy. Damage to the nervous system during birth (before or after), in which coordination of movements is impaired (impairments in vision, speech and mental development are also possible). Cerebral palsy is not a hereditary disease. Many children are afraid to communicate with “strange” children, but there is nothing to be afraid of - you can never get infected or get sick with cerebral palsy.

There are chronic diseases, severe forms of which lead to disability. But if they follow a certain regimen and take medications in a timely manner, these people can lead a full life, no different from the life of a healthy person. For example, severe bronchial asthma is a chronic inflammation of the bronchi that interferes with normal breathing.

Any of the listed diseases is a test for a person, but it also trains willpower and teaches responsibility for oneself and one’s loved ones, which often helps to achieve success in life. As you know, people with poor vision have enhanced other senses, usually hearing. People with cerebral palsy and deaf-mute people often exhibit creative abilities. December 3 – International Day of Persons with Disabilities The purpose for which this day was proclaimed is full and equal respect for human rights and the participation of persons with disabilities in society. To protect the rights and interests of people with disabilities, communities have been created - VOI, VOS, VOG. Unfortunately, life for disabled people continues to be very difficult. There are still many problems in Russia that deprive disabled people of the opportunity to lead a full life and isolate them from society, leaving them alone with their misfortune. People with disabilities do not ask for pity. They consider themselves equal members of society, although they sometimes need help from people around them. There is a golden rule: before you do anything for such a person, you need to ask if he needs your help. In this way, his personal freedom is respected.
