Types of Pokemon: where to look. Where to look for Pokemon in Pokemon GO

The topic of our lecture today is Water Pokemon. As you already know, their main weapon of attack and defense is water. The amount of water released by a water Pokemon can be simply enormous, but only if it is in its native element, i.e. in water. Today we will take a closer look at the structure of a water Pokemon using Squirtle as an example.

Squirtle is an almost living cylinder of compressed water. All the voids in his body are filled with special cells that contain a substance with unique properties. We called it Aquarium.

The properties of the Aquarium are such that it attracts water molecules to itself so strongly that the volume occupied by water may decrease by 2-4 times. Aquatic Pokémon's body can thus contain 2-4 times its body volume of water. The Aquarium has one property: upon contact with air, it is destroyed, and water molecules again occupy their normal volume.

Special glands in Squirtle's body produce Aquarium. But too much of it is produced, so all excess Aquarium must be periodically removed from the body. It is also necessary that the water reserves in the Pokemon’s body are constantly replenished. Otherwise, the Pokemon can dry out in a matter of hours. The aquarium, which will be produced more and more, will collect all the water from the body, as a result of which the Pokemon will die from lack of moisture in the body. Accordingly - than more pokemon, the more Aquarium in his body and the more water he can accumulate.

It is worth noting that the lungs are the only organ in Squirtle's body that are isolated and do not contain an Aquarium. This is understandable; upon contact with oxygen, the Aquarium disintegrates and the Pokemon can simply be torn apart by the pressure. But, nevertheless, Squirtle needs oxygen to live, which is why the lungs are isolated from the rest of the body by special valves and membranes. But for breathing, Squirtle, like all aquatic Pokemon, also has gills, which replace lungs under water.

When Squirtle uses the Water Cannon, the Aquarium, when combined with air, is destroyed, and water under high pressure flies towards the target. IN aquatic environment For a successful attack, air from the lungs is added to the Aquarium. The oxygen content in it is enough for it to react with the Aquarium. Underwater, however, the attacks are not as powerful as on the surface, but this is compensated by the ability for the Pokémon to constantly replenish its water supply. In this regard, the duration of attacks increases.

The power of water Pokémon is actively used in peaceful life. They act mainly as firefighters or help care for plantations or forests, acting as watering cans.

Although Squirtle is not a psychic-type Pokémon, it, like most Pokémon, has the ability to subconsciously psychically influence the water released. Thus, Squirtle can release a cloud of bubbles that, despite their innocent appearance, can cause severe damage to the enemy. Squirtle uses psi for most of her attacks.

So, Water Pokémon use water to attack and defend. In terms of their structure, they are like a small cylinder with compressed water, but, nevertheless, they are living and intelligent creatures. It is not easy to train Pokemon of this type, moreover, training them is fraught with great danger. And although you all received a special vaccination as a child, which gave you the opportunity not to breathe under water for longer, there is one drawback. If you stay underwater for too long, you may become suddenly out of breath. Therefore, you should not forget to take at least 2 underwater breathing kits with you. Each of them can increase your time underwater to 1 hour.

The main goal in Pokemon Go is to collect all the Pokemon. As the site said earlier, this is not so easy to do, because some monsters may not be found at all in a particular city or even country. However, a certain logic for the appearance of Pokemon on the map is still present; it is tied to the types of Pokemon.

All Pokemon in the game are divided into several types, each of which has strong and weak sides, and also exists only in its own range. There are 18 types of Pokemon in total, all of them can fight each other according to the principle of the game “Rock, Paper, Scissors”: Charmander (fire) beats Bulbasaur (Grass), the latter, in turn, defeats Squirtle (Water), and he deals with Charmander.

Of course, a Pokemon's CP also matters, but sometimes it's better to choose a weaker monster, but with increased attack against a competing type. Here detailed map who fights best against whom:

In the description of each type, you will find out where they are found, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and also familiarize yourself with full list Pokemon of this type.
