  • chicken – 800 gr.;
  • lentils (green) – 3 multi cups;
  • onions – 3 pcs.;
  • carrots – 5 pcs.;

Cooking process:

The first thing you need to do is sort and rinse the lentils. Prepare chicken meat. You can use chicken fillet, thigh or drumstick flesh.


Cut the onion into half rings and place in a slow cooker with vegetable oil. Turn on the “baking” or “frying” program.


Cut the carrots into slices and add them to the onion. Lightly fry the vegetables and add a little salt.


Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and add to the onions and carrots and fry for another five minutes.


When the fillet has stuck a little, add the lentils to it and fill it with water.

Method for preparing lentils with meat

  1. You need to take a piece of fresh pork meat and rinse it under running water to remove dried blood. Then dry it thoroughly on paper towels. After moving it to a cutting board, you need to carefully remove the fat, veins and film using a knife. After this, it can be cut into medium-sized cubes and placed in a bowl. Now you can salt and pepper the meat well and add your favorite spices to taste, stir and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Now let's get down to it red lentils. First of all, you need to sort it out, clean it of debris and wash it well with tap water. To do this, the lentils can be poured into a colander or sieve, washed and left to get rid of any remaining water.
  3. Peel the onion, wash it in cold water (so it will release less juice) and chop it finely.

Stewed lentils with meat and vegetables


We will need

  • beef tenderloin or fillet - 0.5 kg;
  • red or green lentils- 1 glass;

  1. Beef tenderloin should be washed well with running water, cleaned of veins and films, and cut into not very large pieces with a sharp knife. Vegetables also need to be washed, peeled and cut into strips or cubes. Tomatoes, before starting to cut, should be immersed in boiling water for a few seconds - the skin will be much easier to remove. The garlic must be peeled and grated on a fine grater or chopped very finely. The lentils need to be washed under plenty of water and sorted out.
  2. Place a saucepan or a frying pan with high sides on low heat, pour vegetable oil into it and add beef, fry it until golden brown. Now we transfer the meat into a saucepan or cauldron with thick walls, and in the frying pan where the meat was before, we sauté the vegetables: first carrots and onions, then add chopped sweet peppers, tomatoes, peeled and finely chopped, chopped garlic. Salt and pepper all this, add spices to taste, keep on fire for 2-3 minutes and pour into a container with the meat, add 2-3 tablespoons of clean water and for 30 minutes simmer all together over low heat.
  3. Now it’s time to add the lentils to the rest of the ingredients, mix thoroughly and add a little more water so that it covers the lentils with meat and vegetables. Close the lid tightly and leave to cook for another hour without stirring.

  • red lentils- 300 g;
  • chicken fillet - 1 piece;
  • small fresh champignons - 200-250 g;
  • bay leaf - 2-3 small leaves;

How to cook

  1. To reduce the cooking time of lentils, you can soak them for several hours before cooking. After this, 10-15 minutes of heat treatment will be enough for it to be ready. Therefore, first you need to wash and sort it, pour it into a deep bowl and fill it with cold water, leave for 2-3 hours.
  2. Now let's move on to the chicken meat. We wash it well and carefully cut it into pieces, but not very small, so that the meat keeps its shape. Mushrooms We also rinse them under running water, clean them and, if necessary, cut them into several pieces.
