    • Using an electronic digital signature.     • Through a personal profile on the STATE SERVICES website. If you have already been puzzled by registration in the past and went to the post office or the MFC for a password, then your page on the government services portal can be transferred using this data to a new personal account of the tax office. At the same time, the personal account itself will not open to you immediately, but will first take 1-2 days to form.

    If you lose your password along with your login, as the tax office says, your personal account (new version) will only be available after a second visit with your ID to the Federal Tax Service.

    In the window that appears, enter your personal personal account access data obtained from the tax authorities. If you need to log in using other parameters, then select the appropriate sections, which are located on the right side of the “Login” button: using an electronic digital signature or through State Services.

    Overview of personal account functions

    The new version of the taxpayer’s personal account for individuals allows you to make selections by type of taxes, transactions and tax departments. There you can also analyze in detail the accruals and payment status for a specific tax.

    What is visible in your personal profile

    When you go to your personal profile, all your identification information will be visible:

    • contacts;
    • Personal Information;
    • history of actions.

    In the same place you can get a cloud version of the electronic digital signature, but it will be unqualified and valid only for the updated version of the taxpayer’s personal account.

    To do this, you need to come up with a password and send a request to create an electronic signature. In this window, you can also register an existing qualified digital signature with the Federal Tax Service for use in the new version of your personal account.

    Also in this window, monitor the status of accounts abroad, and when opening such an account, notify the Federal Tax Service.

    If, according to the Federal Tax Service, in your personal account, when downloading a new version of the interface, you notice a discrepancy in personal data, then you need to write an adjustment to clarify the information. This is done by clicking on the orange “Check personal data” button.

    After this, the application goes to the tax office and its processing will take about 30 days. But the very next day after submitting your application, the tax authorities will write you a response that it has been accepted.

    What is visible in the “My taxes” service

    When you click the “My taxes” button, you go to the history of transactions for current taxes.

    It is convenient to view the details for each tax; the amounts of paid and accrued taxes are reflected there by date. From the same tab you can go to the page to clarify information about the property.

    Additionally, in this window there are links to go to information on insurance payments and income that the employer shows to pay personal income tax for you.     • request various information;
    • change personal data;
    • get up and deregister with the tax office;
    • complain about the bad work of the tax authorities.

    Most operations in this window require an electronic signature. It is registered by following the link from this window to the service for obtaining electronic signature.

    Updating the taxpayer’s personal account has turned the 3-NDFL filing service into a holiday.

    The interface details examples when a 3-NDFL declaration is required:

    • additional income, deductions from which have not yet been paid;
    • foreign earnings;
    • margin from the sale of property owned for less than 3 years;
    • receiving winnings;
    • a gift not from family members;
    • expenses for the purchase or construction of living space;
    • spending on health restoration;
    • expenses for studies;
    • pension expenses.

    The declaration can be filled out directly on the website or downloaded a special program for filling out 3-NDFL on your computer.

    If you plan to fill out and submit a declaration via the website, then you will need an electronic signature. If it is missing, the service will redirect you to register an electronic signature.

    Comparison of the new version of LC with the old one

    If desired, the user can view and evaluate the old version of the personal account. To do this, you need to hover over the orange button in the upper right corner “Switch to old version.”

    If you have not previously been registered in the old version of the Personal Account, then you will be asked to come up with a tricky password. Otherwise, you will not get access to the full functionality of the site.

    To do this, you will need to log into the new version of the taxpayer’s personal account as before and enter the old password in the “Contact Information” tab and come up with a new one.     The old version of LC has much less functionality than the new one. For example, the tax tab displays only data on income and insurance premiums. In the new version, absolutely all taxes of an individual are reflected in a similar window.

    And in the “Taxpayer Documents” tab there is only electronic document management and the ability to contact the tax office.

    Attention!

    Once you log into the old version, you will not be able to update your personal account. Therefore, you need to either make a series of cancellations, or close the Federal Tax Service website and re-enter the Personal Account.

    Note! The login is usually the TIN, and the password is generated from random characters.

    The necessary data will be added to your account within 3 days. However, it is recommended to activate your credentials within an hour after visiting the tax inspector.

    What documents will be needed?

    Citizens have the right to create a personal account at the tax office not only at the address to which they are attached in accordance with their registration. To gain access to your account, you can contact any branch. To do this you will need:

    • passport;
    • TIN - for citizens who apply at a location other than their place of registration;
    • power of attorney certified by a notary - for representatives;
    • birth or adoption certificate - for parents who are registering an account for a child under 14 years of age.

    Tax office employees have the right to ask for additional documents to confirm your identity. Usually, an additional document is requested from Federal Tax Service offices other than your place of registration.

    Data recovery

    In addition to the “Registration” button, the Federal Tax Service website does not have a password recovery field. In such cases, the citizen needs to go to the nearest branch of the Federal Tax Service to restore data. It is not necessary to contact the branch where the registration card was issued. The list of documents for this is the same as for the initial application.

    Technical requirements

    • browser - Internet Explorer 8 and higher;
    • cryptographic utility - Crypto PRO version CSP 3.6 and higher.

    Important! Failure to comply with at least one of the points leads to automatic failure of the system.

    Data recovery

    The ability to authorize using a digital signature is very convenient. However, such a key has an expiration date. If it is not constantly renewed, it will become invalid, which means it cannot be used for authorization.
    But in such a case, account owners set a permanent password. If the user has forgotten it and cannot use the electronic signature, he can restore access when visiting any branch of the Federal Tax Service. At the branch he will receive a registration card with a temporary combination for entry.

    Login according to ESIA data

    ESIA is a unified identification and authentication system. For most users, it is known thanks to the Gosuslugi portal. Portal credentials are used to create a profile on the pages of most government organizations. Instructions on how to gain access to your personal tax account consist of only 2 steps:

    • go to the “Login/registration using an account on the State Services website” tab;
    • indicate your login (or SNILS) and ESIA password.

    If a citizen does not have an ESIA account, one can be created. Creating a profile in the system consists of several stages. This includes not only information from your passport, but also confirmation of your profile. On the State Services portal, the account is confirmed by registered mail to the Russian Post, an electronic signature, or a personal visit to the User Service Center. However, to create a profile on the tax service website, the ESIA profile cannot be confirmed by registered mail.

    Nuances of registration and authorization through the Unified identification and authentication system

    During initial authorization through the Unified identification and authentication system, a citizen can set a separate code for the tax service website account. In the future, the login and password from the State Services or those specified in the Federal Tax Service can be used. The only difference is which login tab will be used.

    When creating a separate combination for the Federal Tax Service website, a key is created:

    • of 7 or more characters;
    • without spaces;
    • using at least 1 number or 2 letters;
    • only from Latin letters;
    • using lowercase and capital letters;
    • with the obligatory addition of an additional symbol, for example, @)*.

    Password recovery
