Invite to a birthday party. Children's birthday invitations - for a real holiday

Ask your child which holiday he loves more than others? Birthday! Present, Balloons, cake... And most importantly, have fun with friends who need to be invited in advance. But don't just pay lip service. Prepare an invitation to a children's birthday party with the birthday boy: the festive atmosphere will not keep you waiting!

First time birthday boy

Your little one is turning 10. It’s too early to talk about a child’s love for dolls or cars, so invitations can be designed as:

  1. Baby suit. When making a girl's birthday invitation, draw the shape of the dress on a folded piece of cardboard or any other thick paper. If the birthday boy is a boy, then choose a jumpsuit. The invitation will open from bottom to top, so it is important not to cut the product along the shoulder line. Having cut out the invitation according to the shape, you can start decorating. Glue or draw lace collars, cuffs, belt, hem, etc. Use beads, seed beads, glitter, fabric or colored paper.
  2. Diaper. Cover the card on which the text will be written with beautiful paper, suitable color. Cut out the diaper parts from a piece of fabric or paper and glue them to a card with reverse side. “Swaddle” the invitation and secure the ends with a pin, which can be decorated with a bow.
  3. Card with a scroll. A less painstaking option compared to the previous ones. Using a printer, print the text of the invitation and the number (age of the birthday boy or girl) on a sheet of thick paper. The card looks beautiful with contrasting edging. The latter is also easy to do using printing technology. The final touch is to make two holes in the paper (in the middle of the unit) for a string or ribbon. Tie a cake candle to the number. The unit and frame can also be made from additional materials(fabric, glass beads, film, etc.). It all depends on the availability of free time and desire.

These options are distinguished by their versatility, i.e. are suitable for both boys and girls: you just need to decide on the color scheme of the invitation.

Handmade with older kids

Those whose children have already grown up and enjoy making various crafts should definitely take on the task of preparing a children’s birthday invitation together.

What will girls definitely like?

Young princesses love beautiful and elegant things. Invite them to make beautiful invitation cards:

  1. Butterflies. Draw butterfly wings on colored paper, then cut out the outline in one piece. Fold the wings in the center and make two cuts in the middle. The resulting loop (when the wings unfold) is the place for the invitation, twisted into a tube. Don't forget to decorate the wings with sparkles or any other way that your child will like.
  2. Flowers. Cut out a semicircle and fold its two edges inward to form a tulip bud. Twist the stem from a sheet of green paper and glue it to the bud. Also attach the leaves to the stem. In the middle of the bud, place a text inviting you to a holiday. To prevent the petals from opening, make holes and tie a ribbon. A slightly different option: glue the petals together, placing a decorative ribbon bow on top, and place the invitation as a separate leaf inside the flower. It’s not difficult to make interesting and unique invitations to a children’s birthday party with your own hands if you choose different colors and shades for each bud.
  3. Crown. Cut out a crown from gold or yellow paper. Punch holes along both edges with a hole punch and thread ribbon through them. WITH inside write the invitation text. Tie a ribbon.

In addition to the unusual solution, these invitations have one more advantage: they can also be used as props for name days.

Suitable Boys Birthday Invitations

Unlike their female counterparts, guys are more interested in various technologies, superheroes, monsters, etc. With this in mind, come up with an invitation card with:

  1. By plane. Fold the construction paper in half. On front side stick on a blue or blue sheet. Place white clouds around the perimeter of the sky. They can be made not only from paper, but also from cotton wool. Place the plane on the side. Attach a flag with the inscription “Invitation” to the tail.
  2. A rocket. Sew several cardboard sheets together different color and size. Cut out the rocket body by making a porthole hole in it. On the back side, glue a piece of paper of a suitable size on which will be drawn how old the hero of the occasion is turning. Glue the rocket onto the top sheet of the card, and at the bottom draw numbers indicating the age that has already passed. If it is possible to print photographs of guests, then paste a photo of the invitee into the porthole instead of a number.
  3. Dinosaur. Draw an egg on two sheets of cardboard different colors. Cut out one of them entirely. It will be on the inside (back of the invitation). Cut the second one in half, lining the edges with cloves. Between the resulting parts, secure a dragon with an invitation around its neck. Glue the lower part of the shell to the back, but not reaching the teeth. Paste top part shells into the remaining space and connect all the parts with a rivet or thread.

Working on such invitation cards is a whole creative workshop for your child. In addition, it is also a great way to develop fine motor skills.

Inviting cards for stylized name days

Starting from 6-8 years old, children like all kinds of role-playing games. They are not averse to trying on the image of a captain, savage or detective. Often holidays are themed. In this case, you need to invite guests without deviating from the chosen topic.

How to make an invitation to a children's birthday party in a certain style:

  1. Pirate or nautical style, if planned. Each guest will need their own ship. It’s not difficult to make: cut out the vessel according to the template, glue the part on the sides. A wooden stick may work as a mast, but if you don’t have one, roll a regular sheet of paper into a tube. Using tape or plasticine (if the mast is wooden), attach it to the bottom of the ship. The invitation will serve as a sail. Don't forget to make a flag. If the celebration will take place among pirates, then depict a skull on the flag. When a peaceful sea voyage is meant - any flag. For example, with a marked date.
  2. Indian style. Glue the face of an Indian onto the front side of the blank (cardboard folded in half). Attach a feather to your hair. It doesn't matter if you don't have a real feather. It can be made from paper by cutting out a similar silhouette and cutting the edges with fringe.
  3. Quest. For puzzle lovers, encourage them to practice before festive event. A puzzle invitation is just what you need. Print the text or write it by hand. It would be good if, in addition to the text, there were some images and drawings. Mark the future puzzle with a pencil. These can be identical shapes (squares or triangles) or chaotic pieces. Glue the sheet onto a piece of thick cardboard and cut it into pieces.

Invitation cards for younger children can also be used for themed parties. For example, a butterfly invitation can be successfully designed for a holiday where fairies will gather. To do this, you just need to slightly change the shape of the wings.

Hello! It's Katya again :) . Today on my mom’s blog I’ll teach you how to make birthday invitations with your own hands. I promise it will be very BEAUTIFUL and very EASY and very FAST.

Lace napkins are sold almost everywhere and cost as much as one beautiful card. You can make 100 pieces from a pack, but I don’t have that many girlfriends yet :-).

By the way, we have already made small napkins lace ball on New Year. .

Today we will use napkins of a larger diameter - 24 cm.

It's simple! We cut out a rectangle with sides 10.5 x 11.5 cm from bright thick cardboard. You need to write or print the invitation text on it.

Now we put the rectangle on a napkin, bend the edges in any of these ways, it will be equally beautiful:

The lower side can be folded into a triangle, thread a bright ribbon into its upper corner and into the “lid” of our lace envelope.

Here's how I designed my birthday invitations:

  • just tied a bow
  • I pasted stickers on both sides of the envelope (smiley faces don’t go well with lace, of course, but it’s fun :-))

I decided to continue my lace fantasy! Why not register festive table using the same napkins?

For example, here's how I made a napkin ring. First I cut out the inner circle, then folded the lace ring in four and secured it with a stapler.

Next to the napkin we will put a card for guests. By the way, you can put a small chocolate in this envelope - let the girls take the souvenir with them.

In the style of birthday invitations, you can make something like this cutlery envelope .

In order for our lace fantasy to look as impressive as possible, we need to choose a plain tablecloth. Saturated shades are suitable - pink, green, blue.

I don’t know about you, but I liked this idea...

By the way, these envelopes can also be used for boys who are not yet 6 months old. For example, as christening invitations . Babies are often decorated with lace...

The rules of good manners dictate visiting only by invitation. An exception can be made for close relatives. If you think that an invitation to a children’s birthday party is a boring piece of paper with a standard text or an unpleasant procedure of communicating on the phone, uninteresting, but obligatory, then this is a big misconception. Traditions and rules are good, but it’s so nice to dilute them with your own individuality. How to do it? There are many options:

How to invite children to a party in an unusual way

The same applies to texts - avoid standard invitations, because every holiday is unique in its own way, so let’s leave the official style for events of the same level. However, even the most unusual invitations should be absolutely understandable so that guests do not rack their brains about “What? Where? When?".

Invitations should be sent in advance to allow guests to plan their free time. This shows both tact and your respect for friends and family, confirmation that they are truly welcome at your holiday.

We are always a little children at heart, so we pick up scissors and make our own invitations for children’s birthdays.

Invitations for girls

Tools and materials

Step-by-step instruction

Invitations to a boy's birthday party can look like a monkey, a butterfly or a boat. If your child has already mastered the basics of needlework and knows how to work with scissors, it would be interesting to make party invitations with him. Add game elements to your joint creativity - draw a monkey template and let your child trace it and cut it out with you.

The monkey can be dressed up. Let your child paint the shirt (or T-shirt) on the hanger. Now you need to write the invitation text on it (that’s what it’s intended for).
If you have special metal blocks (you can always buy them in hardware stores for handicrafts), you can revive our monkey by cutting out all the paws separately and securing them with rivets. Take the smallest ones; large holes are not needed for such an invitation. Place the blocks in the right places and clamp them with pliers - a “live” invitation toy will be much more interesting. A kind, cheerful monkey will surely make not only the little guest smile, but what else is needed for an original invitation?

In the video, the child makes invitations for a child’s birthday party with his own hands for a girl, but this option is quite acceptable for a boy.
