“I moved in with my father, and he, like all dads, didn’t particularly care for me - in the sense that he gave me a lot of freedom. When the boy is not busy with anything, he goes outside. So I went,” he says in an interview with OK! TV presenter himself.

Thanks to this upbringing, Timur became accustomed from childhood to proving to himself and others that he was worth a lot. This explains his future success. In 1999, the future showman entered the Odessa National University at the Faculty of Philology, majoring in “Modern Journalism and Literature.” There he took his first steps on stage, performing in the KVN team “Pagans”.

In addition to the university, Timur graduated from the “Success” acting school in Odessa and the New York Film Academy with a degree in feature film director. In 2005, the presenter was invited to the MTV-Russia channel in Moscow. Soloviev worked there until 2008, and then went to the competing Muz-TV channel. During his time at MTV, Timur hosted 8 programs, including work that he directed himself - the television project “City File”.

After moving to Muz-TV, Timur Soloviev becomes a star. He hosted the channel’s highest-rated programs - “Sofa Bed”, “Urbania”, “Diaries of the New Wave Festival in Jurmala”, “Pro-Fashion”, “Pro-news”. In 2008, Timur Solovyov starred in an advertisement for the Megafon company. Since 2009, Timur has become not only a television but also a radio host. In 2011, Timur Solovyov first tried himself as an actor. The showman performed a cameo in the comedy “Pregnant” directed by Sarik Andreasyan. The film's ratings were low and reviews were negative. Timur himself later said that he did not feel any acting talent.

Timur Solovyov is the youngest presenter of the Good Morning program on Channel One

Winning the competition for the role of host of “Good Morning” on Channel One in 2011 is a new breakthrough in the career of Timur Solovyov. He found out about the casting by chance and did not even hope to win. Without waiting for the results, Timur flew to Los Angeles to study the art of directing. But a call from the First forced me to return to Russia. Since 2012, Timur has also hosted the entertainment program “Good Day!” on the first.

Personal life of the presenter

Timur Solovyov prefers not to advertise his personal life. It is only known that he dated the presenter Anna Kasterova for a long time. For the first time he saw Anna on the TV screen and immediately fell in love. By hook or by crook he tried to find her phone number, and when he found it, he long and persistently sought the girl’s favor.

An engagement took place, and Timur publicly announced Anna as his future wife. But the wedding never took place. The star explained the reason for their separation:

“My ex-girlfriend and I were engaged. But at some point, both realized that we couldn’t be together and separated. Because after all, family, marriage is not just passion, it is a comfortable existence together. In addition to bright emotions, there will also be everyday life - and here friendship, compatibility, and comfort are important.”

For a TV presenter, there is no specific type of girl; beauty and parameters are not important. But Timur is embarrassed when a girl smokes. And he does not accept betrayal.

“If the woman you love is cheating on you, this is a big reason to think about it. It happens that a person is simply not “yours,” but it also happens that a person has stumbled. Of course, I would not like to face this situation, because it is difficult, but purely theoretically, I think I could forgive. The question is how the relationship will develop further: to forgive is one thing, but to get bad thoughts out of your head is much more difficult,” Timur Soloviev said in an interview.

In 2015, the TV presenter became a godfather. The godson is the son of Timur Solovyov’s close friend Alexander. The TV presenter was chosen as the godfather for a reason. It was he who introduced the boy's parents to each other. Timur himself considers it a great honor to trust that he was shown. In an interview, Timur Soloviev stated that he was going to be an exemplary godfather for Sasha: he would love, give gifts and pamper his godson in every possible way.

But first, according to tradition, a few words about the biography and personal life (girlfriend) of the TV presenter. The TV presenter has not yet started a family, but at the end of 2011, fans concluded that Timur Solovyov was having an affair with TV presenter Anna Kasterova.

Graduated from Timur Bekmambetov's school of producers. Timur, you work on two TV channels and are preparing for the “Legend” tournament. You look at Timur Solovyov, the host of the morning show “Good Morning” on Channel One, and you think: how cute and handsome he is, just like Barbie’s Ken. It’s good that Timur is not a toy at all, but a person. In 2008, you left the MTV channel and began working for Muz-TV.

Previously he worked for Muz-TV, MTV, and acted in commercials. After graduating from the institute, he was invited as a news anchor on one of the Odessa TV channels. As a model, he starred in commercials: in 2008 he became the face of the Megafon campaign. The famous presenter was a VJ for MUZ-TV, practiced boxing and studied philology. Legend" is a K-1 (professional kickboxing) and MMA (mixed martial arts) tournament, which will be held on May 25 in Moscow at the Luzhniki Stadium. Back in school, I became very interested in boxing. Yes, this happened in my life. It so happened that after moving to Moscow, I found myself in boxing for a long time.

Timur Solovyov: a hooligan in full swing

Why did the TV presenter win over you? Is there something Odessa about you? They brought it, put it on the table, and I sat down. After five minutes I felt so uneasy... I realized that I would never be able to work here in my life. I got up and left. I did everything else in life with pleasure. I sat in the frame, and I remember that everything turned out very cool. At that moment I wanted to study to become a director and went to Los Angeles, to the New York Film Academy.

The screen star spoke in an exclusive interview about his “Legend”. You have now become the producer of Legend. Superstars of these sports will take part in it. To be honest, this has always been my dream: to do something big, to make my contribution to the development of martial arts in Russia.

MOST POPULAR IN THIS SECTION

At that time, all the guys were fans of Van Damme's films. One day a coach came to our class with an announcement about recruitment to a kickboxing group. I immediately signed up for the section. Then he continued studying when he moved to Moscow. But I found strength in myself and won that fight. Legend" will surprise you, first of all, with its composition of participants. No one has ever been able to gather such athletes in one evening before.

There has never been such a “picture” of battles. We want to make one single spectacle out of disparate fights, a show in which everything is connected by one dramatic line. There is no main or minor difficulty, there is a task: to create a super-quality event. We have the best team and resources for this. It was unforgettable: attending lectures by masters and filming myself in the heart of Hollywood. A huge part of our event is video production, which I do as a director and producer.

For now, I am completely focused on creating “Legend,” but in the future, of course, I would like to develop as a director. Makeup. Drops in the eyes. Whitening tooth powder. I often work on holidays, weekends, in places where people are having fun. But after ten years I got used to it. Your track record includes a large number of hobbies and jobs.

Later, Timur Solovyov began hosting his own original program about the city’s club life, thanks to which he became a local TV star. Timur Soloviev also starred in several music videos, such as “Girl Star” by Alex Bely, “Right in the Heart” by Yulia Kovalchuk and “Paper Man” by Motor-Roller.

The host of “Good Morning” on Channel One recently moved into his own home. 35-year-old Timur Solovyov chose an apartment with an area of 70 square meters in the north of the capital - in the Vodny residential complex. “StarHit” was among the first to become a guest in the celebrity’s new home.

“I like this area, I know it well - before that I lived nearby, on Khodynka,” the TV presenter told StarHit. “There is a wakesurfing club five minutes from home. I used to go there often, but now it’s more convenient - everything is at hand.”

Before moving into the apartment, Timur went through renovations. To do this, he turned to specialists who took on the task of turning the home into a cozy space for relaxation and creativity.

“I entrusted everything to the designer, whom my colleague, host of the “Ideal Repair” program Natasha Barbier, recommended to me, and the foreman,” recalls Timur. “They did everything perfectly.” In many ways, the design project is my merit: I went online, studied a lot of interiors, chose the ones I liked and asked Natasha to bring them to life. The main thing I didn’t want was for the apartment to be “cold”: I don’t like high-tech and strict style, so I preferred stone and wood.”

Timur still has a lot to do in his new home - to buy some additional pieces of furniture and interior design that would give the space coziness. Soloviev has already planned the acquisition of various paintings and posters.

Timur reluctantly admits that he himself did not help the builders during the repairs. “To be honest, I don’t know how to work with my hands, and this frustrates me a little,” Solovyov confesses. “But I think that over time I will learn this, or rather, I will remember my old skills: as a child, my grandparents and I built a house, I helped - hewed boards, painted the walls.”

One of the most popular hosts of the Good Morning program on Channel One, admits that in his youth he received a “street” education and only miraculously escaped from bad company. But, having received such experience, he knows exactly how he will raise his futurechildren. Timur told OK!about your formation, relationshipswith the girls and readiness become a father

Our photo session took place under the scorching sun on the roof of one of the capital's shopping centers. Knowing first-hand how beautiful pictures are created, Timur took these conditions for granted and worked to his best. By the way, in his youth he managed to be a model for a while. When the TV presenter moved from Ukraine, where he grew up, to the Russian capital, he, by his own admission, expected to be on the cover of a glossy magazine within the first three months. “I was sitting on the Odessa-Moscow train and thought that in the capital I would quickly be overwhelmed by the hectic social life, but God decreed otherwise,” says Timur, smiling. “I probably had to feel all the difficulties in order to truly enjoy what I have today.”

Timur, I know that you are now working in several areas at once and television is only one of them.

I am 32 years old, and until recently I was looking for my place here, on television. I think I have found it. I feel quite comfortable and confident in my role as a presenter. And recently I found a second profession. My partners and I have a promotion company that organizes professional boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts fights in Russia and abroad. In this area, I combine everything that is close to me: both producing and directing, which I studied in Los Angeles.

How does all this relate to boxing?

Two weeks ago, for example, we held an event in Grozny - the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, asked us about it. This was the first title fight in the Chechen Republic. And we made a beautiful picture, set the lights, adjusted the sound, prepared various installations, videos... Ramzan Akhmatovich even shed a tear at some point because we were telling the guests about Chechnya. Among them, by the way, were Kostya Tszyu, Evander Holyfield, Mark Dacascos, and the famous Michael Buffer hosted the evening. ( Smiling.)

I know that you yourself boxed for a long time. It turns out that you left the ring to become a “gray cardinal”?

Yes, the role of an organizer really appeals to me. To be honest, the process of filming on television does not give me such pleasure; for me it is more of a habit, a craft that I master and with the help of which I earn money. Of course, I really like it, but I get real pleasure from the process of preparing a show, when I take it from idea to implementation. In addition, at each such event I shoot a video and thus also train as a director. I have already started receiving orders to shoot advertisements. For now I’m shooting short videos, but over time I would like to come to full-length films - making films and producing.

How about acting yourself? I'm sure you are often offered roles in films.

I discovered a long time ago that I have absolutely no acting talent. Some people “from TV” can be athletes, presenters, and actors at the same time, but when a person is inorganic in something, it is immediately visible. It is, relatively speaking, made of wood. This is exactly how I feel about myself, if we talk about cinema. I used to be often called to audition for TV series, but now I won’t even go to the casting. But I just don’t want to “show off my face” one more time.

And as far as directing is concerned, do you already have any specific ideas?

(Thinking.) You need a good script. I would be attracted to the action genre, and for some reason I really like the theme of the 90s, the emergence of some strong personalities - those who started from scratch and achieved something. I'm interested in, say, how a person who started out as a black marketeer in the 80s became a respected businessman - if, of course, he really changed over the years and reconsidered his life.

You have come a long way yourself.
You moved to Moscow for “something
achieve"?

It was very crowded for me in Odessa. In just a year, I settled everywhere: I hosted all the programs, produced them, shot commercials, organized the opening of restaurants and clubs. You know, alpha male monkeys have this thing: if you mark your territory, that’s it, it’s yours, you need new possessions. I came to Moscow for the first time by accident - I came for two days. I saw the city and felt that it was mine. I love to conquer spaces and territories. And here is a big, big city with enormous opportunities - at that moment, it seems, I was ready to rush to conquer anything, even climb Everest! But everything turned out to be more complicated than I imagined.

You didn’t have any “preparations” here - no work, no friends?

It’s funny to remember now: I didn’t even have money to buy a train ticket, and I had to sell my mobile phone. I arrived to an absolute void, apart from the fact that at that time I had already passed the casting for MTV. True, at first I couldn’t cope with the broadcasts, and I had an internal crisis. Then the director of the TV channel’s presenters’ department, Nastya Vasilyeva, who believed in me, helped me a lot. You could say that it was partly thanks to her that I stayed in Moscow. I remember that for the first two weeks I lived with some friends at the Babushkinskaya metro station. And after I received my first salary - $400, I rented an apartment in Northern Butovo. I started living completely alone for the first time and was very happy about it. ( Smiling.)

The first two years were extremely difficult. I don’t like to remember that period, because it makes me relive all the emotions... Although there were advantages: I was alone with myself, didn’t party, and therefore read a lot. You could say that between the stations “Serpukhovskaya” and “Ulitsa Akademika Yangelya” I received another education: each trip took an hour, and I managed to re-read a lot of books. Then some glimpses began in the work. But, to be honest, I didn’t have anything concrete for seven years. The worst thing is when you seem to be in business, but there are no prospects. I have had times of absolutely no money. Even in Odessa, when I was a student, I didn’t encounter this, but here there was simply no money, not even enough for the metro. Thank God, things are different now.

Didn't your family help?

Well, how much money can you take from your mother? A hundred dollars, and more is a shame. How can I, a healthy man, ask for more help from my family? I must help her myself! I set myself the task of doing everything on my own. I wanted to tell myself in the future that I didn’t take a penny from anyone and didn’t owe anyone anything. And now this makes me very happy, I can give my parents good gifts, help my grandparents. It seems to me that this is more correct than asking or being offended by them for not giving something. The position of the offended is the position of the weak. But wait!.. I entered the Faculty of Philology in Odessa with the help of my parents. I studied with teachers who were paid for by my mom and dad, and I ended up on a budget.

That is, they decided for you who you should study for?

No, all this is a huge number of coincidences. I read somewhere that until the age of 21 a person is guided by a guardian angel, and then released. And I really felt his presence right up until that age. I then made probably 99 percent of the mistakes that can be made at that age. He behaved very badly. There are some things I would never do if I could go back. And so my parents helped me enroll. And the philology department was chosen because I did not have a predisposition to the exact sciences. I miraculously survived until the third year. In general, I’m a C student by nature, but I know how to survive in a team, catch some things, ride on something... I probably have an innate ability to get along in life. I was communicating with a street company at the time, and at some point I had to make a choice between it and future prospects.

What tipped the scales?

It so happened that I made new friends - let’s say, more creative ones. At that time, I really fell in love with reading and suddenly I liked studying. I remember exactly how in the middle of my third year I began to make up for lost time and graduated from college without C grades. I even received a scholarship and wrote my thesis myself.

Do you remember the topic?

"Elements of impressionism in the short stories of Mikola Khvylovy." This is the founder of Ukrainian modernism. Imagine, there is such a thing! ( Laughs.) My specialty was “modern literature and journalism.”

You know, I got the impression that you were some kind of “overlooked” child...

I wouldn't say so. My mother invested a lot in me - she taught me to be kind, she gave me upbringing and education. What was the cost of her struggle with my flaws in accents! ( Smiles.) This helped me a lot in working on television. But as a teenager, yes, he was “overlooked” because from the age of 12 he lived without a mother. I moved in with my father, and he, like all dads, didn’t particularly care for me - in the sense that he gave me a lot of freedom. When the boy is not busy with anything, he goes outside. So I went. Which I’m also glad about, because the street teaches you a lot. I know people who didn’t have enough fun on time, got married early, had children early, and at the age of 30 they suddenly went crazy - they started going to clubs, trying some prohibited substances... I went through all this as a student, so now I’ve calmed down. I know what my body is capable of and I am confident in my reactions. Out-of-touch people like me sometimes make good, conscientious citizens. ( Smiling.)

Have your parents created new families?

Mom - yes, dad - no.

How did your father raise you?

Basically, his method was based on counteraction. Dad set the conditions quite harshly: “If you don’t like something, go and prove that you are smarter than me.” And it spurred me on. If I lived with my mother, I would most likely be a loved child, and since I am lazy by nature, I would not bother and do anything at all. And so I had a great desire to prove to everyone that I was worth something. Therefore, I am very grateful to my parents and fate that everything turned out this way.

What did your father do?

He was a professional motorcycle racer, but he stopped racing when I was about seven. I remember when I was very little, we would go to the race track and I would cry because of the noise of the motocross bikes - they are very loud. Then dad sometimes remembered his youth and went for a ride. And he fell, broke his legs... He always told me that the worst thing was a motorcycle in the city, because all his friends were injured there, some even died. Then my father worked as a truck driver, and my childhood began to pass among trucks.

So you went with him?

I went on short flights, and, to be honest, until I was twelve years old I thought that I would become a driver. I knew all the cars, brands, I even drove. I knew all the American films about trucks. Even today, when I drive on the road, I give way to trucks and never honk—I respect truckers.

How did your father see your future?

What could he see when I saw nothing in myself? We chose from what I had. But I really understood what I wanted by the fourth year, when I finished with the parties and started studying.

I clearly remember at what point I got hooked on reading - when I was given a three-volume book by Kir Bulychev. Can you remember that turning point?

(Smiling.) I remember I broke my leg while playing basketball and had to stay home for almost two months. Doctors told me not to get out of bed until the bones heal completely. And I re-read the entire list of foreign literature, and then we were going through the beginning of the 20th century. The first who greatly shook my consciousness was Hermann Hesse with his parable “Siddhartha”. Then came Hemingway and Remarque. These three authors turned everything upside down in me. True, now I’m lazy - I’m very tired. When I come home, I only have enough time to watch TV and sleep. I only read on vacation and on the plane.

You say that you had a revolution in your consciousness, and in another interview you mentioned several times that you wanted to please girls and therefore began to strive for something.

(Smiling.) I had a certain complex. I have always liked princesses from wealthy families who have high expectations, and I wanted to win them. In general, the desire to be successful with women is the main motivation for men. I’ll say this: when I started living alone, but still didn’t really earn much money, everything immediately began to work out for me with girls, and in the quantity I wanted. Hand on heart, I have never had problems with girls, with their attention. But I can’t say that I’m fixated on this.

Is your heart busy right now?

I have a girlfriend. I am a romantic and easy-going person, and like a girl, I immediately think about weddings and children. ( Laughs.) But I got burned a couple of times in my life, so now I don’t think anything of it. I just look at my companion and enjoy the fact that she is nearby, and if everything comes to marriage, then I will get married.

What kind of father do you think you will be?

I will be the best dad! I love children very much. It seems to me that if I have a daughter, I will absolutely love her. I'm even a little scared. And my son, I understand, needs to be raised more harshly. I myself have seen a lot and made a lot of mistakes, I have enough experience to raise a child. I think I'm completely ready for this.

Over the course of his sixteen years of television experience (that’s exactly how many years have passed since his first appearance on air), the host of “Good Morning” on First Timur Solovyov managed to change several channels, cities and even countries. However, many fans have remained with him for a long time. And of course, they are keenly interested in the personal life of their idol, and considerable changes have also taken place in it over the past years. For example, wife of Timur Solovyov Almost became a fellow TV presenter Anna Kasterova. It’s hard to imagine that the personal life of the handsome TV presenter is not completely defined. And this is really so, because even despite the abundance of fans and many past novels, Timur Solovyov has not yet met his only one who is worthy of becoming the second half and the mother of his future children.

In the photo - Timur Solovyov and Anna Kasterova

Just a couple of years ago, in every interview with the TV presenter, the conversation certainly turned to her - his common-law wife Anna. Timur Solovyov did not hide his admiration and happiness from the fact that he managed to achieve the favor of such a girl. But it took a long time to achieve it thoroughly. True, at first there were no conversations between the couple about the wedding - the young people simply enjoyed each other’s company. However, the relationship went wrong at the moment when Timur Solovyov publicly called Anna Kasterova his bride and started talking about a future wedding. By his own admission, the decision to separate was mutual. The reason is that the TV presenter was not ready for family relationships and the responsibilities associated with them. By the way, now the ex-girlfriend of the hero of our article, apparently, is again faced with a similar choice. This time, hockey player Evgeni Malkin proposed her hand and heart.

So at the moment, even though almost two years have passed since the presenters parted, Timur Solovyov is in the status of a free man. Judging by the latest interview, any girl has a chance to win his heart. Although he does not deny that every year it becomes more and more difficult to find your person precisely because of age, which over time dispels all illusions and makes you look at things soberly. At the same time, the TV presenter claims that he is absolutely ready for a family and a serious relationship, and in general he will be simply an exemplary father. Indeed, the rich experience of successful and not so successful relationships, both short-term and serious, should certainly serve well in the presenter’s new novel. We can only hope that next to his next chosen one, Timur Solovyov will finally find the desired strong family and children that he has been dreaming of for a long time.
