Of course, I also have secrets. We need to keep ourselves in good shape. Not so much physically, but spiritually: do not allow yourself to be sad, do not feel sorry for yourself. When I was in the last month of pregnancy, I was filming a documentary, working on a new reality show (I can’t talk about it yet, you’ll find out everything soon), and two days before Gek’s birth I did a photo shoot. In addition, I also have my own business, clothing production, which includes an office, employees, and clients. So, when is there time to be sad? It happens, of course, sometimes it comes, we are all human, we all have our own weaknesses. Then I allow myself to cry for half an hour, locking myself in the bedroom, then I get up and move on.
Well, no one canceled training. The body also needs to be kept in good shape. I go to the gym, swim, run. But I don’t do this for the sake of reducing or increasing volumes. And certainly not in order to please someone. This is important to me for myself. And men... You know, I realized a long time ago: men don’t notice your extra pounds, they notice your lack of self-confidence. This is what we have to fight with.
About sexuality
The other day I posted my new video on the Internet called “Passion.” This is important work for me. Having conceived it, I said to myself: “Go and show by example that the birth of a child does not automatically mean that a woman turns into a chicken. And that she can remain sexy and desirable with any number of children.”
- At the same time, many people believe that after giving birth to a child, a woman should sit at home, put on a long skirt and be only a mother.
And does she cease to be a woman? Oh, I apologize in advance for asking, where will she get new children if she forgets that she is a woman? For example, I want more children, I’m great at them. But if I turn into an uninteresting, dull monster, where will I get them from?

I'll tell you one story. Having gotten married for the first time, I gave birth to Alina and decided that now, as a husband’s wife, I would stay at home. I then left the VIA Gra group on maternity leave, being one of the most desirable women in the country. And so, having abandoned my career, myself, and life, I lock myself within four walls, cook three-course meals, scrub the floors and try to be an exemplary wife and mother. Do you know what came of this? I will never forget that moment when I was rocking my daughter in my arms, and my husband was sitting next to me and watching TV, which was showing a group, let’s call it “The Singing Cowards.” And my husband, without taking his eyes off the screen, moves his chair closer to get a better look at the young half-naked beauties. And the next day they told me that they saw him in a restaurant with these same “cowards.”
It really hurt me then. And I decided not to give up myself anymore, even for the sake of the most beautiful person on earth.
So many times I was buried as a woman! They said that I was no longer the same and that I would not see success. That I am a useless old woman with three children, fat, covered in cellulite, and so on. And under each such article there are hundreds of comments from embittered women, assenting: “Yes, Sedokova is not that.”
Following the lead of such a public is also not an option. For ten years these commentators have been shouting from every corner: “How much cleavage can you show?! Close your chest! What kind of mother are you? You have children, they can see!” Okay, I told myself. And all last year I was the way these haters wanted me to be. Not for them, of course, for myself. I did a really serious project - I shot a series of documentaries “The Universe Is Us”, in which I showed how women achieve their goals, go through all the difficulties prepared for them by fate, to victory.
I also shot a video “First Love” - sincere, honest, deep. There wasn't even a hint of cleavage. I hoped that people would see a different side of me and understand that I could talk about serious topics. And what do you think? All of show business pretends I don't exist. They consider me a downed pilot. This year, for the first time in 15 years, I was not nominated for any award.

But as soon as I posted “Hobbies” on the network, where I again appeared sexy and feminine before the audience, again I was the Anna Sedokova that people were accustomed to - in the first two days the clip received three million views.
About money and responsibility
Besides music, I have another important occupation in life: I am a businesswoman. I have my own clothing line and a huge responsibility. On the 1st and 15th of every month, like any manager, I have a pay day. And these days, ten of my employees, regardless of whether I’m sick, gave birth to a child, or broke up with my boyfriend, get their money. Every morning I wake up and, instead of playing with my children, communicating with them, pampering them, I go to work. I'm going to make my business profitable. And I don’t have a person nearby who magically solves everything. I do everything myself.
- And at the same time, you probably often hear: “You’re a mother, why did you abandon your children and work all the time?”
It is because I am a mother that I have to work all the time. Children need to eat, drink, study, and live somewhere every day. And all this costs money. I don’t forget for a minute that I rose from the bottom myself. I come from a very poor family, my dad and mom divorced in a terrible scandal. My father practically did not help us, and my mother, a teacher, worked 24 hours a day in order to somehow feed my brother and me.
I will never forget the humiliation of not having money. Full. Total. One day, the ensemble I was in then and I went on tour to Germany, and kind local residents gave us, poor Soviet children, a bag of tattered soft toys. I still remember the purple dragon I got: it was dirty, covered in some kind of jam. But I was happy because I had my own personal soft toy.

Mom couldn't afford to buy me a doll. Even in my wildest dreams, I don’t want to see my children playing with someone else’s dirty dragon. Therefore, I will do everything to prevent this from happening. I also want to protect those girls who are still in need. Because an uncle can come up to such a girl and say: “Girl, come with me. I know your mother is starving, but I can give you and your mother food.” And the girl will follow this guy - but where should she go, she will want to save her mother from hunger... Now I am working to establish a fund to help girls from poor families, I will help them look for an honest job and get an education.
About life and spiteful critics
Yes, I have an unconventional destiny. And they explained to me a million times that living the way I live is wrong. I agree, there are moments that surprise even myself. Recently in Turkey at a concert I announced: “And now my children will appear on stage - Alina Belkevich and Monika Chernyavskaya.” And I thought to myself: “At the same time, you are Anna Sedokova, and Hector bears another surname, already the fourth in your family.” But then I said to myself: what the hell?! I’m giving birth to a fourth child, with a different last name - this is my life, and I decide how to live it.
I am not an ideal mother, not an ideal wife, not an ideal boss. And maybe I'm not a perfect singer. But I don’t pretend to be someone I’m not. With my whole life I’m trying to say: “Even if you guys feel bad now, it will be better. You can handle it. I can handle it!”
Now such a strange time has come: everyone can tell you on the Internet what they think about you. Some say “thank you,” while others are tirelessly rude. I noticed that previously the bulk of the most angry, monosyllabic comments like “stupid” and “ugly” came from the accounts of young children. Unhappy, lonely, thrown out by their parents on Instagram and left there unattended.

But you can somehow feel sorry for these kids. Now the same words are written by grown men. And when I ask myself: “Why do they need this?” - I understand: they cannot admit the idea that a woman can have her own office, business, name, status. These men perceive my success as their own failure. And instead of starting to work, they write comments that, translated into human language, mean: “She just has a rich lover.” They have no idea how I actually get my success and my money.
Would you like me to tell you how Anya Sedokova’s evening is going? Not the advertising picture you see on the Internet, but the real, living Ani? Here I come home after a whole day at the office, after filming, meetings, negotiations. I go into the apartment, take Huck in my arms, and Alya and Monika say: “Mom, play with us. You’ve been at work all day, we miss you.” And at this moment, most of all I want to just sit on the sofa, stare at the wall and sit for at least five minutes in complete silence without moving. And I understand that I am the worst mother in the world, because I can’t give my children what they need, I don’t have the strength to do it.
I'm trying to become a good mom. If I go somewhere to a concert, I take everyone with me. Although in this case, the negotiations, filming and interviews add another burden in the form of “collecting all the passports and birth certificates, ordering tickets for everyone, packing things.” And so we are going, for example, to Turkey. We relax, sunbathe, I work through the concert, everything goes surprisingly smoothly, no one got sick or got lost. We come home - everything is fine. It’s impossible, I think, that nothing happened to anyone during the entire vacation. There's a catch somewhere. And then Monica carefully asks: “Mom, where is my suitcase?” It turned out that her suitcase was in Turkey. At the hotel. With all her summer things. And I understand that the dress, socks and sandals in which Monica is standing in the corridor are now her entire wardrobe.
I don’t complain, I don’t regret anything, I chose my path myself, and I like it. And I will never give up. I remember that Sergei Kozhevnikov, when he was a producer of Russian Radio, said: “I like you because you never give up.” And he's right. Do you know why I never give up?
