Diuretic folk remedies for weight loss. Diuretic for weight loss

In the treatment of many diseases, a specially developed nutritional system is of great importance. The ideal diet for people who suffer from gallbladder and liver diseases is the “Table No. 5” diet. With strict adherence to the diet and a well-designed menu, the patients’ condition improves. Let's look at the main components of this diet.

In 1920, the therapist Pevzner developed 15 therapeutic diets that must be followed in the treatment of various diseases. One of them is diet No. 5. Its goal is to provide adequate nutrition to the patient, normalize liver function and improve bile secretion. When following a diet, glycogen accumulates in the liver, relieves cholesterol and fat metabolism, stimulates bile secretion and improves the functioning of the entire gastrointestinal tract.

Dietary table No. 5 is prescribed for the following diseases:

  1. Acute and chronic hepatitis.
  2. Pancreatitis.
  3. Gallstone disease.
  4. Cholecystitis.
  5. Cirrhosis of the liver.
  6. Gastroduodenitis.
  7. Chronic gastritis.
  8. Chronic colitis.
  9. During recovery after removal of the gallbladder.

The diet can be prescribed even for children. You can stick to this diet until the exacerbation passes, or for several years.

Diet No. 5 includes foods with the usual content of proteins and carbohydrates. Fats are limited. The diet should not contain dishes that contain oxalic acid, purines, essential oils, large amounts of cholesterol and fat oxidation products formed during frying.

Basic diet rules 5

  • drinking clean drinking water 1.5-2 liters per day;
  • The daily salt intake should be 6-10 grams. (in case of exacerbation of some diseases there should be no salt at all);
  • the daily ration of proteins is 300-350 g, fats – 75 g, proteins – 90 g;
  • energy value of the daily diet – 2100-2500 kcal;

  • Baked, boiled, stewed dishes are allowed.

With the right diet, you can prepare healthy and tasty dishes at the same time. The products do not require thorough grinding. The exceptions are stringy meats and fiber-rich vegetables. It is forbidden to eat very cold food.

Consequences of not following the diet

As a rule, diet No. 5 is prescribed along with the main therapy - physiotherapy and medication. If you adhere to this diet for a long time, you can relieve the symptoms of an exacerbation and achieve stable remission. In addition, digestion in general will improve.

If the diet is not followed, patients suffering from diseases of the liver, excretory and bile-forming organs risk receiving additional stress on the liver. This will provoke an exacerbation of the disease, which is why treatment will have to start all over again.

In addition to the therapeutic effect, diet No. 5 also helps to get rid of excess weight and improve overall well-being. The diet regimen is perfect even for small children.

The famous Soviet scientist M.I. Pevzner developed a special diet called table 5, the adherence to which significantly helps in the treatment of diseases of the liver, biliary tract, gall bladder and some other pathological conditions of the body. Diet table 5a is prescribed for patients with chronic pancreatitis and exacerbation of hepatitis.

In addition to reducing the load on the gastrointestinal tract and limiting thermal, mechanical and biochemical effects on the stomach and intestines, a complete diet of diet No. 5 creates conditions for normalizing lipid metabolism, the entire biliary system and the main filtering organ - the liver.

About medical diet 5

Prescribing therapeutic nutrition table No. 5 is advisable outside the stage of exacerbation of chronic pathologies of these organs (hepatitis in remission with moderate functional liver failure, cholelithiasis, chronic cholecystitis).

Treatment of the pancreas (acute pancreatitis) begins with fasting (from 1 to 3 days) with the gradual introduction into the diet of permitted foods that have undergone special culinary processing, according to diet table No. 5a. To reduce the load on the pancreas, all products, including vegetables and fruits, are consumed only after cooking and heat treatment.

Basic table rules 5

The daily intake of chemical compounds in diet table No. 5 is:

  • water (free) from 1.5 to 2 l;
  • table salt from 6 to 10 g (in case of exacerbation of pancreatitis, at the first stage there is no salt, then it is gradually introduced into the diet);
  • carbohydrates from 300 to 350 g (the amount of simple, quickly digestible carbohydrates is up to 40 g);
  • fats from 70 to 75 g (the norm for vegetable lipids is 25 g);
  • protein compounds 90 g, half of which are animal proteins.

The energy value of the daily menu varies from 2100 to 2500 kcal. The number of meals is from 5 to 6.

To whom is it assigned?

Patients with cholecystitis, pancreatitis, hepatitis. Treatment of these pathologies without following a strict diet No. 5 is impossible, according to experienced gastroenterologists. Table 5 can be observed for up to two years.

Diet 5 table, what is possible and what is not (table of products)

It is strictly contraindicated to include fried foods in the diet, foods that contain refractory fats, high concentrations of high-density cholesterol and purines.

Limiting the intake of extractive compounds that excessively stimulate the secretion of gastric juice helps reduce the chemical load on the digestive process.

All dishes are prepared in a multi- or double boiler, boiled or baked. Meat, especially stringy meat, and all vegetables that are sources of coarse dietary fiber should be rubbed.

The temperature of the food consumed is also important (from 20 to 60°C), that is, neither hot nor cold dishes that create irritation of the gastrointestinal mucosa are unacceptable. Fractional portions are consumed every 2.5-3 hours, allowing the gastrointestinal tract to quickly process incoming light food.

The diet of table No. 5 and its varieties consists of the most common foods, so following the diet plan developed by your attending physician is quite simple.

Dear readers, I have prepared a lot for you. Diet, recently, became necessary for me when certain diseases were discovered. I took the recipes from books on therapeutic nutrition; I prepare them for myself and my family, and I recommend them to you.

Diet 5 is the development of a Soviet doctor named Pevzner, designed specifically to relieve the body of excess cholesterol and fatty tissue. It can also be used to restore the functioning of the liver and gall bladder, which will lead to a general improvement in well-being in general and an improvement in the functioning of the digestive system in particular.

Diet number 5 is so called because its developer became famous for finding a relationship between diet and the state of the body, after which he compiled 15 such regimens aimed at improving the health of the body and healing it from certain diseases. Diet number 5 to improve liver and gallbladder health was fifth on his list. It is also called the “table” - due to the fact that it prescribes the consumption of certain foods in certain volumes.

Diet number 5 is prescribed for those who have difficulties with liver function. It is also prescribed for those who have problems with the gallbladder and gastrointestinal tract, suffering from failures of these two organs. It is used in recovery from cholecystitis and hepatitis. The diet is chosen so that the diet consists of dishes without excess fat, especially those that are difficult to digest.

Anything containing oxalic acid and esters is unacceptable. Anything that contains large amounts of cholesterol and purine, oxidized fats - that is, anything fried - is also prohibited. When following the 5 diet, no more than 2900 kilocalories should accumulate per day, the optimal value is 2500. The permissible amount of carbohydrates is 50 g, fats - no more than 70, proteins - 100. Food ingredients are selected so that they contain a lot of pectin , dietary fiber and lipotropic substances.

You should drink at least one and a half liters of water. You need to be careful with salt; it is acceptable to consume from six to ten grams per day. You should eat so that you get five to six meals a day. Boiled, baked and stewed dishes are acceptable. Vegetables and flour cannot be sautéed. It is not recommended to grind almost all ingredients too much, but this does not apply to the meat in which it lived, and vegetables with a lot of fiber - these components are ground.

When following this diet, foods colder than 20 degrees and hotter than 60 are prohibited, that is, everything very cold and very hot is prohibited. Those who are being treated for hepatitis, cholecystitis and pancreatitis have to follow diet 5 for up to two years. However, despite such a long period, such a regime may not even have time to get boring, since you can choose a very tasty variety of dishes. The number of permitted products is quite large; they can be combined in such a way that a truly pleasant, bright taste is obtained without gaining weight, but rather bring it back to normal, further strengthening the body.

Why not feel completely healthy? After all, diet table 5 allows this.

What is possible and what is not?

The following ingredients and dishes are acceptable:

  • Yesterday's rye bread, baked goods made from first- and second-grade wheat flour, cookies and biscuits (dry);
  • Soups made from milk and vegetables, cereals and pasta, for example, beetroot soup and cabbage soup for vegetarians, fruit broths (if these dishes require flour, it should not be fried, but dried);

  • Any fruits without sour taste and salads made from them;
  • Juices from fruits and vegetables, as well as berries, a little coffee and tea, rosehip and bran decoctions are acceptable;
  • Cinnamon, parsley, dill, vanilla and sour cream sauces.

Approximate weekly breakfast menu

When Diet 5 is prescribed, Monday breakfast may consist of an omelet made from only whites. It is permissible to flavor it with a small piece of butter. On Tuesday, for breakfast you can eat an apple and carrot salad and a casserole of cottage cheese and honey. On Wednesday, you can prepare oatmeal with milk and eat it with any allowed fresh fruit, without acid. Thursday can be fish, but it’s better to have semolina porridge with whole grain bread for breakfast, and you can eat no more than a single piece.

On Friday you can cook pasta with chicken. Unlike a hearty Friday, it’s better to make Saturday light by preparing sour cream cottage cheese with berries and fruits for breakfast. You can start Sunday with noodles in milk and an apple. It is better to divide each breakfast into two meals.

On Monday, you can be a vegetarian by preparing vegetarian cabbage soup for lunch for the first time, and carrot salad for the second. If you don’t want to be a vegetarian, you can boil low-fat meat and stew it with carrots. Potato soup and cutlets with green salad will be good for Tuesday. You can finish your lunch with jelly. For Wednesday, a light vegetable soup is ideal, along with rice and milk sauce.

Diet 5 recommends making Thursday a fish day. You can cook sea bass and complement it with stewed cabbage. On Friday, you can make potato soup again, and it is recommended to eat a green salad as a snack or main course. On Saturday, after a light breakfast, you can treat yourself to delicious beetroot and turkey cutlets, which can be very tasty. For Sunday, salads, for example, bell peppers and tomatoes, and milk soup are suitable.

Allowed dinners

This diet recommends having dinners with approximately the following menu. On Monday you can cook buckwheat and add stewed vegetables to it. On Tuesday, you can end the day with mashed potatoes and oven-cooked chicken. It’s better to finish off the medium lightly, for example, with stewed vegetables and yogurt, to which you can add cereals. On Thursday, dinner can start with low-fat beef stew and end with rosehip decoction. On Friday, it is permissible to cook young lamb and complement it with a vegetable salad.

On Saturday you can bake fish and stew vegetables; this option is also suitable for Thursday. Sunday should be relaxed, have cheesecakes with sour cream or jam for dinner and finally drink green tea. Between lunch and dinner or as a second breakfast, Diet 5 prescribes snacks consisting of vegetable salads and non-acidic fruits, fermented milk products and permitted drinks. Thanks to this, you can achieve significant improvements in health without feeling hungry and enjoying a variety of tastes.

Diet 5 normalizes the functioning of the pancreas, “brings to life” the liver, gall bladder, and all the vessels through which bile flows. Thanks to this, the functioning of the entire digestive tract is restored.

Those who have been prescribed diet number 5 claim that following it helps cleanse the body of excess toxins and get rid of harmful fat, which in turn leads to weight loss in those who have unhealthy weight gain. Losing weight is carried out without any hunger, with full enjoyment of the tastes of a variety of dishes, because despite considerable prohibitions, permitted products allow you to prepare real delicacies.

The main thing is not to expect that weight loss will happen instantly, it will go smoothly, gradually, in a healthy and gentle manner. Properly followed diet number 5 can permanently relieve pain under the ribs on the right side, which is caused by problems with the gallbladder and pancreas, especially if you stick to this diet for a long time or switch to it completely, for good.
