Evening knitted dress for women. Crochet knitted dresses

It will undoubtedly attract attention at any holiday. Handmade things look very elegant on women. Knitting such a dress is quite simple. It is enough to learn how to knit one motif and attach motifs to one another. Assembling a dress is like playing a simple construction set. Consumption is indicated for a model size 44, height 165, dress length about 100 centimeters.

To work you will need:

  • 500g of Anna16 yarn produced by SEAM (100% mercerized long-staple cotton; 100g - 530m);
  • Hook 1 mm.

Motif diagram for a crochet evening dress:

Description of the process of crocheting an evening dress:

  • Using a crochet hook you need to make a chain of 8 air loops. Form a ring from this resulting chain. To do this, you need to connect the last and first air loops of the chain with a loop.

  • Next row, knit single crochet stitches around the ring (single crochet) - 16. When knitting this row, the end of the thread that remains from the beginning of knitting can be hidden under the stitches during knitting. To do this, when knitting the stitches, simply press the thread against the ring, around which you need to knit single crochets.

You will get a ring like this. There is a crocheted ring next to the diagram for greater clarity. So, the first row of the motif is knitted.

  • In the next - second row - start knitting with six chain stitches, of which 3 stitches are lifting loops, replacing 1 double crochet, another 3 chain stitches are intermediate loops. Then make a single crochet stitch, departing from the 3 lifting chain stitches by one single crochet. Alternating single crochet stitches and 3 chain stitches, knit 8 single crochet stitches. You need to finish the row with a connecting loop.

  • Knit the third row of the motif with single crochets, starting with three lifting loops. In the spaces where 3 chain stitches are knitted, make 4 single crochets, and above the single crochet of the third row, knit one single crochet. Finish the row with the same connecting loop.

  • Now we begin to knit the so-called “petals”. From the loop that was created by connecting double crochet stitches in the third row of the motif, knit 9 chain stitches. Through two double crochets of the fourth row, attach these 9 chain stitches to the knitting.

  • Flip knitting reverse side! Remove the thread by the hook. Knit 12 single crochets around 9 chain stitches.

  • Turn knitting over front side. Pull the working thread back onto the hook. Knit 9 air loops, attach with a connecting loop to the previous row every 3 loops 3 times, i.e. in every 4th loop.

  • Turn your knitting over! In each of the three arches of 9 chain stitches, knit loops according to the following pattern: 2 single crochets - 3 single crochets - 1 chain stitch - 3 single crochets - 1 chain stitch - 3 single crochets - 1 chain crochet - 3 single crochets - 2 single crochets.

  • Turn the knitting over. Knit the final row of the “petal”. Starting with 5 single crochets, knit a picot - knit 3 air loops and close in the same loop from which you started knitting. Work single crochets over the single crochets and single crochets of the previous row, and knit a picot over each chain stitch of the same previous row. One of the four “petals” is ready.

  • To start knitting the next “petal”, you need to knit 5 half-columns from the finished “petal” in the main circle. Then start knitting the “petal” like the previous one. Tie four “petals” in this way. The “petals” in the motif are also connected to each other during the process of knitting the last row, instead of one of the “picots”.
  • To do this, when knitting the last row of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th “petals” of the motif, you need to knit half-columns to the first “picot”, and instead of the “picot” itself, thread a loop into the first half-column to the “picot” of the first “petal” of the motif and knit a connecting stitch. Then continue knitting the last row of the “petal” according to the pattern. Remember that you need to connect the fourth and last “petal” of the motif with both the third previous one and the first “petals”.

Combination of evening dress motifs with crochet

Combining motifs into one canvas is not difficult. When knitting the last row of the motif, instead of “picot” on the “petals”, make a connection with a loop in the “picot” of the attached motif.

Assembling the dress

For a dress size 44 for a height of 165 cm (dress length 1oo cm) you will need 110 motifs. It is recommended to start assembling the dress (the dress will be assembled gradually with the addition of each new motif) from the top of the product. This will make it more convenient to do fittings to determine the length of the dress. The dress is assembled in the round, rather than the front and back parts of the product being assembled separately. To fit the product, you can use the following a little trick. Motifs that will go along the waist of the dress should be knitted in smaller sizes by, for example, replacing the single crochet motif in the third row with single crochets. The same principle applies to the sleeves, to make them a little narrower.

We hope everything worked out for you.

Evening crochet dresses

Using intricate patterns and different yarns, you can create a real masterpiece. As a rule, this is a thin knitted ballgown made of threads with glitter, which lie in patterns on a silk lining.

Evening crocheted dresses are most often made in black, gold or white colors. When choosing, you should be careful, since crocheting will treacherously reveal all the flaws of the figure.

Short girls will suit the knitted style holiday dresses knee-length in Chanel style. To the owners tall It is worth paying attention to tight-fitting floor-length models with thin straps. Similar models are offered by the Free People brand.

It is worth noting that you should be very careful when adding accessories to knitted evening dresses and choosing a hairstyle. It is best if it is a bun from below or at the back of the head, neatly styled. If you prefer ethnic motifs, a bag will do, but more elegant options will require a little.

Knitted evening dress

The advantage of knitted evening dresses is that they will always look more respectable and of higher quality. Today, designers offer styles of knitted New Year's dresses with guipure or lace inserts; knitting graphics and contrasting transitions are welcome.

Knitted items can be selected in juicy color scheme: rich gold, crimson, dark yellow and of course black. On the contrary, it is better to choose a knitted prom dress in a more delicate pastel shade.

Choose the most concise knitted evening dress - it’s easier to combine it with other things and create different looks. Always look for discreet yet presentable items to pair.

Level – for advanced beginners

This dress can be knitted to suit your figure. The length of the dress reaches the knee of a girl with a height of 165 cm. If you want to make your dress longer or shorter, vary the initial chain of air loops (in the original there are 132 loops). If you need to make the dress wider, simply knit more rows. All stitches are knitted only in the back half loop of the stitches of the previous row. The result is a slightly stretchy fabric that fits the figure well. Another option is to use a thinner yarn and a larger hook size. Then you will get a draping fabric. According to the diagram, you can see that the dress consists of vertical rows of double crochets, half double crochets, double crochets and double crochets. These different stitches are knitted in one row, which allows you to make good shape dresses. This dress is easy to knit - there are no decreases or increases. You repeat row 1 almost all the time. If you mark the transition points from one section to another with markers, it will be easier for you to count the stitches and knitting will be much easier. The diagram shows a pattern for a dress without a hanger. This is a rectangle that gets its shape by changing columns in sections. The stitches are knitted only in the back half-loop of the stitch of the previous row.
