Teachers' Institute
The Tobolsk Teachers' Institute was founded in 1913 by the highest decree of the Russian Emperor Nicholas II. By date of formation, it was the fifty-eighth teacher training institution in the country and the third in Siberia (after Irkutsk and). The purpose of its creation was to train general-purpose teachers for small-scale higher primary schools of the West Siberian educational district.
