The best tank in the world. Tanks in World of Tanks – which are the best? The best military tanks in the world

Which tank is better? There is no clear answer to this question. The parameters of armored vehicles are adjusted by developers from update to update, and the arms race continues. In this collection we have collected the best World of Tanks tanks for you. You will find out why these cars are considered top-end and what makes them remarkable.

This article should not be taken as a TOP rating or a clear guide to action. Not every tank listed here is suitable for “any beginner.” To play well on most machines, you need to be able to play yourself - don’t expect the equipment to do everything for you. We just selected the most profitable tanks based on several 2020 ratings and WOT server statistics. Read more about how this TOP was compiled at the end of the article.

10 best tanks in World of Tanks 2020

Below are the ten most effective combat vehicles. The selection includes tanks different levels, classes and nations, so that there is something for everyone. Some of them are suitable for any player, regardless of their ability to play, and some will have to play a lot of battles to learn how to “bend over”.

Obtaining Object 279 (early) is not easy. But those lucky ones who have it in their hangar feel truly royal on the battlefield. In the hands of almost any player, this tank is capable of showing very decent results. Its main advantages are a powerful weapon and strong armor, which is extremely difficult to penetrate. In statistics for the KTTC server, Object 279 (p) ranks 1st in average damage per battle and 3rd in win percentage ( ~63% ).

“Super Horse”, as the players nicknamed it, is a heavy British tank of the 10th level. The “super horse” has strong armor on the turret and VLD, but the NLD is weakly armored. The gun has excellent elevation angles for a TT -10 / +15, which allows you to comfortably play from hills. The Super Conqueror's mobility is average. Frequent fires and explosions of ammunition racks were also observed. Demanding on the player’s skills, so the statistics of victories on the server are only ~54% .

Another award tank in our selection. Bloggers call it a “tank of extras.” And for good reason - according to KTTC statistics, the Object has 907 ~58% wins. Like most medium tanks of the USSR, the Object 907 has a low silhouette and good dynamics. The armor is mediocre, elevation angles are only -5 degrees. But the DPM gun can be accelerated to as much as 3,700 units. The tank requires good skills from the player, so “bending” is not suitable for beginners.

60TP – Polish heavyweight level 10. Favorite tank of experienced players. It is considered a “breakthrough tank” due to its good protection on the move (weak areas are difficult to target). The weapon's one-time damage is 750 units . True, you will have to shoot mainly with cumulative and high-explosive shells, since armor-piercing shells have an armor penetration of only 250mm. UVNs -8 / +20 allow 60TP to play well from the terrain. Requires team support and active play. Server win statistics – about 54%.

Progetto 65 is another “imba” that requires skill from the player, but is capable of working wonders on the battlefield. The first thing I want to say about this tank is that its visibility can be extended up to 478 meters. The “proggetto” itself is very discreet and is capable of reaching speeds of up to 65 km/h. Armor - cardboard. But a high-precision gun with a sequential reloading mechanism for 4 projectiles makes the tank a truly dangerous opponent. Victory statistics for the server - ~54% .

Chinese heavy tank level 10. It has reinforced sides, but due to its “pike nose” it is quite difficult to tank with them. The turret is very well armored, although sometimes it breaks through the hatches. Maximum speed(50 km/h) picks up slowly, but holds steady. The turning speed is high. Vertical aiming angles -7 / +23 will allow you to comfortably play with the terrain. The highlight of the tank is a weapon with a one-time damage of 490 units, the DPM of which accelerates to 3300 units. Server win percentage - ~55% .

Tier 9 Soviet heavy tank Object 705A – strong armor, high one-time damage, impenetrable tower , but weak sides. The maximum speed is 40 km/h, and the tank is not always able to develop and maintain it due to its low power density. The hull of the Object 705A has excellent declination angles, so it is almost impossible to penetrate it in the VLD. The weak point is the NLD, but it is easy to hide behind the terrain. Experienced players recommend constantly moving to make it as difficult as possible for opponents to target weak points. Victory statistics for the server - ~53% .

"Kranvagen" is a Swedish heavy tank of tier 10. This machine is famous for its fantastic elevation angles for a TT -12 (!) / +10. Any hills and unevenness - best friends"Cranwagen". The Kranvagn gun is a 3-shell drum with fast reloading and an alpha of 440 units. This tank is not in the TOP of the server, but in the right hands it is capable of dealing a lot of damage per battle. Win rate for KTTC — ~53% .

All about the most powerful and impressive tanks.

T-90

According to many experts, the most powerful tank in the world is the domestic T-90. It was developed back in the 80s, and then it was called “T-88”, but soon changed to T-90. In the early 90s of the 20th century, large-scale production of the model began. Over five years, about 120 T-90 tanks were produced. And in the early 2000s, a modification called the T-90A was released.

The main weapon of the T-90 is a 125 mm smoothbore gun, 2A46M-2 launcher. The ammunition load contains 43 rounds, 22 of which can be stored in the rotating conveyor of the automatic loader. Another 21 shots were fired in a non-mechanical position.

The powerful tank is equipped with a 7.62-caliber PKT coaxial machine gun; its ammunition load is 2 thousand rounds (or 8 belts of 250 rounds each). This, of course, is not the most powerful machine gun, but in combat conditions it serves as a good help.

The tank is also armed with an anti-aircraft machine gun. It has a remote control and can fire at both ground and air targets, while the tank's hatches remain closed. Pointing angle from 180 o horizontally or 360 o from the tank turret. The anti-aircraft machine gun is supplied with 300 rounds of ammunition (2 belts of 150 rounds each).

Main anti-tank weapon T-90 is armor-piercing shells (3БМ-26, BM-29, 3БМ-42, 3БМ-22), as well as a weapon system with control with 3УБК20 and 3УБК14 shots.

The tank is also armed with the Reflex guided weapon system. Its firing range is 2.5 times greater than the return fire range of any tank produced in the 21st century. This is what gives the T-90 a huge advantage even before entering the enemy’s return fire zone.

Among other things, the T-90 is equipped with additional equipment: a 1A45-T fire control complex, a 1G46 gunner’s day sight, a PNK-4S commander’s sighting and observation system, a night sighting system TO1-KO1 with an electron-optical converter with a TPN-4 “Buran-PA” sight, as well as, for calculating ballistic corrections, a 1V528-1 ballistic computer.

Modified T-90S and T-90A have an improved fire control system. They have an Essa thermal imaging sight and a Shtora-1 optical-electronic suppression complex.

Such a vehicle weighs exactly 46.5 tons and accommodates a crew of three people. The length of the tank including the gun is 9.5 meters, and the width of the track is 3.4 meters. On a paved road, the car can reach speeds of up to 60 km/h. On a dry dirt road the speed drops to 40 km/h.

More about the tank

The T-90 is protected by barriers made of high-hardness steel with reflective sheets. The frontal unit has Kontakt-V dynamic protection. It provides protection from both cumulative PTS and OBPS.

Filler packages can be classified as “semi-active” type. There are 21 containers on the roof of the tower to repel attacks from above. In general, tank protection is weakened due to design features and high-quality equipment and weapons.

T-34

The ageless T-34, or “thirty-four” as it is called, is a legend of the Soviet tank industry. During the Great Patriotic War, it was described as a miracle. British Prime Minister Churchill said that he did not understand where the mysterious T-34 came from, and Hitler, according to legend, admitted that he would not have gone on the offensive against the USSR if he had known about this death machine. After the death of the T-34 designer, Mikhail Koshkin was called “the Fuhrer’s personal enemy.”

The characteristics of the tank are impressive. In 1940, the T-34 was put into service along with the heavy KV-1. Then it weighed about 26 tons and accommodated a crew of 4 people. The thickness of the tank armor reached 45 millimeters. Distinctive feature models - V-shaped 12-cylinder diesel power unit V-2-34 with a capacity of 500 horsepower. The crew also had a 76.2 mm L-11 cannon and two 7.62 mm DT machine guns in their arsenal.

In 1941, the first changes were made to the design of the T-34. The cast turret was replaced with a welded one, and the armor thickness increased to 52 millimeters. The armament was also enhanced - instead of the L-11 cannon, the F-34 was installed, which, with the same caliber, had higher power. For the sake of modifications, we had to sacrifice the hidden tool boxes on the sides and the right-hand headlights. A year later, the armor increased by another 8 millimeters, and additional fuel tanks appeared.

Legendary tank

Iron monsters are still produced today. Here are some of the most powerful tanks of our time.

Leopard-2 A7

One of the most popular tanks of the 21st century, the Leopard-2 A7 was the result of a joint effort between Rheinmetall and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. The model boasts mobility, a modular protection package, excellent reconnaissance skills and a fairly accurate fire control system.

The tank was tested in 2010 and is now in service with the German army. The Leopard cannon fires 120mm explosive shells.

With the help of an adaptable bucket, the Leopard-2 A7 can demolish obstacles in its path. The tank has a built-in diesel engine MTU MB 873 Ka-501 with a liquid cooling function, which allows the vehicle to drive non-stop at a speed of 68 km/h for more than a day.

Challenger 2

The British tank was developed by BAE Systems Land Systems. It is in service with the Royal Army of Oman and the British Army.

The vehicle has a L30 rifled tank gun. Later models are available with a smoothbore gun.

T-90 vs Challenger-2

The tank turret rotates 360 o. The weapon can be raised to a height of 10 o to 20 o, and is controlled using stabilization and electronic systems. Thanks to the 12-cylinder Perkins Caterpillar CV12 diesel engine, the tank reaches speeds of up to 59 km/h. The tank has a 7.62 mm Boeing machine gun, which is located to the left of the gun. On the turret there is an L37A2 GPMG anti-aircraft gun with a similar caliber, as well as five L8 smoke grenade launchers.

Merkava Mk 4

The Israeli tank was first demonstrated at a weapons exhibition on June 24, 2002, but was officially handed over for field testing in December 2001. Serial production of the new Merkava model began after the Merkava Mk 3 model was removed from the assembly line at the beginning of 2003.

The tank has a built-in 120mm cannon that fires advanced multi-purpose and anti-tank shells. The vehicle has a modern fire control system and a unique combat control system that provides a clear and precise picture of what is happening outside - both systems were created by Elbit Systems.

The Merkava Mk 4 uses a V-12 diesel engine, allowing it to exceed 60 km/h. Hidden inside the tank is a life support system: ventilation, biological, nuclear and chemical filtration systems, as well as customized systems cooling and power generators.

T-14 "Armata"

A new generation tank, developed by Russian designers in 2009. "Armata" is an innovative universal tracked platform; In the future, it is planned to create a whole family of combat vehicles based on this TSUP.

Newest Russian tank T-14 "Armata"

Other innovations include a single armored capsule for 3 crew members, separating the room with people from ammunition and fuel tanks, which increases the safety and efficiency of crew communication. In general, the “living” space has become more spacious and comfortable, and the ergonomics of the controls have been improved.

The T-14 has 4 levels of protection: stealth paint, Afghanit KAZ, electromagnetic mine protection system, as well as dynamic armor, which also covers the roof with hatches.

The T-14 is armed with a 125-caliber smoothbore cannon with the ability to launch guided missiles. To combat infantry, a remote-controlled machine gun is provided. The standard T-14 projectile is the 90-centimeter BPS Vacuum-1.

The weight of the tank is 50 tons, the speed is up to 75 km/h, and the power of its engine is 1500 horsepower (optimal is 1200). The Ministry of Defense plans to replace the newest tank models T-72 and T-90. Expected that Russian army will take the new product into service by 2020.

Russia is betting on creating completely new armored vehicles, while its opponents are upgrading to the last minute models from thirty years ago

Submitted by general public At the Victory Parade in Moscow, the new Russian T-14 tank on the Armata tracked platform created a sensation among tankers around the world. The Russian novelty forced everyone to compare again and again combat capabilities armored vehicles that are in service around the world today. Although, in fact, there are not so many tanks to compare. Only four countries were and remain trendsetters in tank building and the main exporters: Russia, Great Britain, Germany and the USA. In addition to them, Israel, India, Iran, Italy, China, both Koreas, Pakistan, Poland, France and Japan produce their own tanks or put them on production lines. The vast majority of countries are content with acquiring more or less new developments from major tank-building powers or ordering the modernization of existing armored vehicles.

Seriously compare tanks that have never met each other in real battle, impossible and pointless. And if in reality, say, the Israeli Merkava Mk.4 met in single combat with, for example, the Chinese Type 99, then to a large extent the outcome of the battle would depend on the characteristics of the theater of operations, and on the training and experience of the crew, and from many other factors, which even veteran tankers cannot always take into account in advance. A simple comparison of tactical and technical characteristics does not make it possible to seriously talk about the advantages of one tank over others and vice versa.

Our current rating takes into account the only objective indicator: the year a particular tank was put into service. And, of course, a simple requirement was taken into account: the tanks included in this top 10 must be original designs. Taking into account all these indicators, we have selected ten of the most modern and powerful tanks in the world.

It is not surprising that the domestic T-14 Armata took first place on this list. On the one hand, there is simply no more modern tank in the world today that has already been presented to the public and released military tests. On the other hand, in many formal indicators, the Armata is ahead of, or at least rises to, the same level as most other modern tanks, and in total it rightfully claims to be the most modern and powerful armored vehicle.

The most fundamental difference between the Armata and all other modern tanks is the so-called capsule design: all three members of the T-14 crew are located in a special armored capsule inside the hull, that is, actually behind two spaced layers of armor. At the same time, the turret, which is also unique for modern tanks, remains uninhabited - all fire control is carried out using the combat information and control system. In addition, serial T-14s will be able to be equipped with a 152-mm smoothbore cannon - a missile launcher, which will make the Armata's fire advantage undeniable: no modern tank has a weapon of such caliber, power and range.

K2 "Black Panther" (South Korea)

Year of adoption: 2015 (plans)

Combat weight, t: 55

Crew, people: 3

Gun caliber, mm: 120

Experts call the K2 “Black Panther” tank the first independently developed South Korean tank. Its predecessor - K1 - was actually adapted to the conditions of the Korean Peninsula American tank Abrams. Korean novelty, judging by the formal tactical and technical characteristics and demonstration shooting, claims to be one of the most modern tanks. The Black Panther, like most current tanks of NATO member countries and their allies, is armed with a well-proven, but already outdated 120-mm smoothbore gun of the Rheinmetall Rh-120 type. True, it is complemented by a modern and fast automatic loader, providing a high rate of fire. However, this same tank also holds a very dubious record for the highest cost of a combat vehicle: $8.5 million apiece. It is not surprising that at such a price the army South Korea refused to completely replace the K1 fleet with K2 and ordered only 297 new vehicles.

Type 10 (Japan)

Year adopted: 2012

Combat weight, t: 44

Crew, people: 3

Gun caliber, mm: 120

Gun type: smoothbore

Ammunition, rounds: 28

Machine gun caliber, mm: 1 x 7.62, 1 x 12.7

Closing the top three of our review is the new Japanese Type 10 tank - the third and last of the modern tanks with the highest specific engine power. Like the Armata and the Black Panther, it reaches 27.3 horsepower per ton of armored vehicle weight. True, the Japanese tank received such a thrust-to-weight ratio not due to engine power, but due to its lower mass: 44 tons versus 55 for its Russian and South Korean rivals. The Armata Type 10 is also inferior due to its main one - the same 120-mm German gun, mass production of which began in 1979.

"Arjun" Mk.I (India)

Combat weight, t: 58.5

Crew, people: 4

Gun caliber, mm: 120

Gun type: rifled + ATGM launcher

Ammunition, rounds: 39

Rate of fire, rds/min: 6–8

Machine gun caliber, mm: 1 x 7.62, 1 x 12.7

Dynamic protection: no

Engine power, hp: 1400

Specific power, hp/t: 23.9

Maximum speed, km/h: 70

Cruising range on the highway, km: 450

Like the South Korean K2, the Indian Arjun can be considered India's first independently developed tank. True, it took Indian engineers and technologists no less than 37 years to create a new product! During this time, many of the solutions incorporated in the Indian tank became outdated or were close to the point of obsolescence, and the need to constantly change the architecture and range of on-board equipment led to problems with unification. As a result, India adopted only 124 tanks of this modification.

Type 99A2 (China)

Year of adoption: 2011

Combat weight, t: 58

Crew, people: 3

Gun caliber, mm: 125

Gun type: smoothbore

Ammunition, rounds: 41

Rate of fire, rds/min: 7

Machine gun caliber, mm: 1 x 7.62, 1 x 12.7

Dynamic protection: yes

Engine power, hp: 1500

Maximum speed, km/h: 70

Cruising range on the highway, km: 450

The Chinese Type 99A2 (the most modern modification of the Type 99 tank, which entered service in 2001) is one of two tanks in this review, which can be called a completely independent national development with some stretch. This vehicle is based on the Soviet medium tank T-72, which has proven itself well throughout the world, although it received a completely new welded turret, enhanced protection - both armored and active, as well as much more modern filling. In particular, the Type 99A2 is equipped with an automatic loader, thanks to which the crew has been reduced to three people, and the rate of fire has increased to seven rounds per minute. In addition, unique equipment for tanks participating in this rating is the laser active countermeasures system installed on the Chinese vehicle, which is capable of literally blinding enemy equipment and soldiers.

BM "Oplot" (Ukraine)

Combat weight, t: 51

Crew, people: 3

Gun caliber, mm: 125

Ammunition, shots: 40

Rate of fire, rds/min: 8

Machine gun caliber, mm: 1 x 7.62, 1 x 12.7

Dynamic protection: yes

Engine power, hp: 1200

Maximum speed, km/h: 70

Cruising range on the highway, km: 500

Tank BM "Oplot". Photo: website

Ukrainian fighting machine(this is how the abbreviation “BM” stands for) “Oplot” is the second “conditionally independent” participant in the current rating. The conditionality of its independence is given by the fact that, in essence, the Oplot BM is the fourth derivative of a modification of the Soviet T-80U tank, more precisely, its diesel version, produced at the Kharkov Malyshev plant. It is not surprising that this option was designed and embodied in metal in just three months and within six months it was adopted by the Ukrainian army. True, to date, the Ukrainian army has not received all 50 Oplot BMs ordered. But the contract with Thailand is being fulfilled much more successfully, which should receive 49 “Oplots”, 10 of which have already been delivered to this country. Thus, today the armed forces of the Kingdom of Thailand are the only army in the world where the Oplot combat vehicle is actually in service.

"Merkava" Mk.4M (Israel)

Year adopted: 2009

Combat weight, t: 65

Crew, people: 4

Gun caliber, mm: 120

Gun type: smoothbore + ATGM launcher

Ammunition, rounds: 48

Rate of fire, rds/min: 8–10

Machine gun caliber, mm: 2 x 7.62, 1 x 12.7, installation of a 60-mm mortar is possible

Dynamic protection: yes

Engine power, hp: 1500

Specific power, hp/t: 23.5

Maximum speed, km/h: 70

Cruising range on the highway, km: 500

Based on the totality of combat capabilities and experience in combat use, which only three out of ten participants in the current rating can boast of, the Israeli Merkava tank has more than once been recognized as one of the best, if not the best tank in the world over the past two to three decades. Indeed, in terms of the ratio of combat power, protection of the crew and the vehicle itself, as well as the Merkava’s armament fourth generation has some of the best indicators, but only for the Israeli theater of operations. The Merkava was never exported, and, according to many military experts, not only because the Israeli Defense Forces banned the sale of these vehicles abroad, but also because a tank designed specifically for Israeli conditions would significantly lose in efficiency outside the Middle Eastern theater. In particular, it has too much mass to move freely in wooded or swampy areas, and is not at all designed to overcome water obstacles.

Challenger 2 (UK)

Year of adoption: 2008 (beginning of large-scale modernization of vehicles in service)

Combat weight, t: 62.5

Crew, people: 4

Gun caliber, mm: 120

Gun type: rifled

Ammunition, rounds: 52

Rate of fire, rds/min: 6–8

Machine gun caliber, mm: 2 x 7.62

Dynamic protection: yes

Engine power, hp: 1200

Specific power, hp/t: 19.2

Maximum speed, km/h: 56

Cruising range on the highway, km: 400

The British Challenger 2 tank is the second armored vehicle in this rating that has real combat experience. True, very specific: English cars participated in the so-called peacekeeping operation in Kosovo and fought on the side of the anti-Iraq coalition during the NATO invasion of Iraq in 2003. According to experts, British tanks showed themselves well in battles; however, few of these experts specify that Challenger 2 had to fight with morally and physically obsolete Iraqi T-55 tanks created in the mid-50s! It is not surprising that the British emerged victorious in this confrontation. True, the Iraqi experience still showed that the Challenger 2, which was originally put into service in 1991, needs serious modernization, which was carried out in 2008 for three quarters of the tanks in service: they received new guns, new engines and transmissions (German instead of British), and also new system fire control. But even with these innovations, British tanks are still significantly inferior to foreign competitors created in the last decade.

"Leopard" 2A6M (Germany)

Year adopted: 2004

Combat weight, t: 59.9

Crew, people: 4

Gun caliber, mm: 120

Gun type: smoothbore

Ammunition, rounds: 44

Rate of fire, rds/min: 6–8

Machine gun caliber, mm: 2 x 7.62

Dynamic protection: yes

Engine power, hp: 1500

Specific power, hp/t: 25

Maximum speed, km/h: 72

Cruising range on the highway, km: 550

Tank "Leopard" 2A6M. Photo: website

The first tanks of the Leopard model entered service with the Bundeswehr in August 1963. The Leopard 2A6M tank included in the current rating is the sixth modification of the second generation of the legendary armored vehicle. Legendary because today it is in service with almost two dozen countries, and many of its components, primarily the 120-mm smoothbore gun, can be found in more or less modified versions on many foreign modern tanks. With all that, since the tank platform has not changed for several decades, each subsequent modification comes closer to the limit of the vehicle’s modernization capabilities. And some unchangeable features of the Leopard, such as the lack of an automatic loader, significantly reduce its combat capabilities.

Abrams M1A2 SEP (USA)

Year adopted: 2000

Combat weight, t: 63

Crew, people: 4

Gun caliber, mm: 120

Gun type: smoothbore

Ammunition, rounds: 42

Rate of fire, rds/min: 6–8

Machine gun caliber, mm: 2 x 7.62, 1 x 12.7

Dynamic protection: yes

Engine power, hp: 1500

Specific power, hp/t: 23.8

Maximum speed, km/h: 67

Cruising range on the highway, km: 425

Along with the German Leopard, the British Challenger and the Israeli Merkava, the American Abrams can easily be called one of the most famous tanks in the world. Which is not surprising: the first modification of this model was regularly upgraded, receiving more and more on-board systems, weapons and fire control systems, as well as active and passive protection. The reason for each new modernization was the participation of these tanks in one or another military action, but always outside the United States itself. The model that was included in the current rating received, first of all, new armor in the frontal part of the turret with uranium filler, as well as new digital fire control systems and... air conditioning. Currently, work is underway in the United States on the next reincarnation of the Abrams - the M1A3, which should become lighter and faster than its predecessors. The weight of the new model will be 55 tons, the gun will be highly accurate and long-range - American tank builders are clearly in the wake of their Russian colleagues.

Good afternoon, dear tankers. Today I will talk about one of the most popular online games today – WOT. Best review I will conduct tanks in World of Tanks as follows:

  1. Let's look at the main game points.
  2. Let's disassemble some of the tanks and sort them by purpose.

So - into battle!

Gameplay component

First of all I'll do it short review Games World of Tanks for beginner tankers. If you are an advanced user, I advise you to immediately skip to the next part of the article.

World of Tanks is an MMO dedicated to armored vehicles of the mid-twentieth century. Here you have leveling up, dynamic battles 15 vs 15 and 30 vs 30, and big choice tanks different classes and nations. The game features 5 types of equipment:

  • Heavy tanks (TT)
  • Medium tanks (MT).
  • Light tanks (LT).
  • Tank destroyer (tank destroyer).
  • Self-propelled guns (Arta).

Playing each vehicle class has its own characteristics and style. If you decide to shoot through the robin on art, and stand in the bushes on heavy, then most likely you will not be able to play normally, and your allies will be to blame for regular defeats.

There are 11 nations in the game, each of which has its own unique cars. You can play on tanks:

  • Germany.
  • Italy.
  • THE USSR.
  • France.
  • Great Britain.
  • Japan.
  • China.
  • Czech Republic.
  • Sweden.

But pumping is a rather complicated matter. To reach the maximum level, you will have to spend more than a dozen hours. Therefore, it is important to know which branch of tanks you need to start the game with.

Note! From time to time Wargaming launches a “sandbox”, that’s what they call it test server, where you can try out any technique available in the game. These servers open before the release of a new patch and work for several days. You can find out about the opening of a new sandbox on the official website of the developers.

Well, we chose a tank, clicked “battle” and found ourselves on an unknown map, and what next? And then we learn to play. From the very beginning, most likely, nothing will come of it, since you need to know the zones where tanks can penetrate, how to tank correctly, places of clearance and convenient positions on the maps. But all this will come with time.

The entire interface is intuitive and does not require additional explanation. If you have any questions, go to the game settings, there is a detailed explanation above each function.

Having told in general outline basics, I finish my review of the game tanks and begin a review of tanks in World of Tanks.

Choosing your play style

Let's move on to choosing your car. I offer several selections of equipment that will suit your desires. Here we will list tank models that are optimally suited for their tasks.

Farming is the basis of the game. If you simply don’t have enough credits, then you won’t be able to move forward, because the higher the level, the harder it is to earn them, and new cars are not very cheap.

In such cases, you can use premium tanks. You can have fun with them and earn extra money. But what to do if you don’t have gold for premium equipment, and you really don’t want to donate 1,500 rubles for a pixel model? In such cases, I can offer you a small selection of upgradeable equipment for farming.

Tier 5 vehicles are best suited for earning money, since there is no large expense on shells and repairs of equipment - so you will remain in the black even if you are defeated.

Review of the best World of Tanks tanks for farming:

  • T67. Small, cardboard level 5 PT on the US branch. Behind long years games, this tank has become my favorite. A small model, fast reload time (CR), high dynamics and good camouflage make the T67 the best tank of its level. By playing wisely at a distance, you can deal 2k damage per battle, despite the fact that the heaviest tanks of this level have no more than 500HP.

But the T67 has several disadvantages: firstly, it is dependent on the skill. If you fail to properly keep your distance and rush into the thick of things, then there will be no farming. Secondly, dependence on the crew and equipment. To get PT from this maximum effect you need to install a rammer, a camouflage net, a spyglass or clear optics and upgrade your perks.

  • KV-1. The armor is strong and our tanks are fast! The legendary tank of war and our game. Proper Use this car will bring a lot of fun, pleasure and credits. The KV-1 has two main weapons: a high explosive and a hole puncher. On the first, there is good damage to cardboard tanks, but if you get to level 7, then it will be difficult to do anything without gold. The hole puncher is a more versatile weapon, which is what I recommend for farming. With it, you can play both in the top and in the stock of the list.

The only thing you need on this machine is to tank correctly. Hide the NLD and the front plate of the tank, then it will be very difficult to penetrate you. But you can kill any enemy without any problems.

  • T-34. A rapid-fire gun and good dynamics are what, if used correctly, will help you win hundreds of battles. The cooldown of the gun is a little more than 1 second - this allows you to punch holes in the enemy without interruption, disabling his module one by one.

Good dynamics and fast rotation of the tower allows you to always be in the center of events. It is especially effective to make a platoon of three T-34s, which can dismantle any target in a second. If you coordinate your actions correctly, you are guaranteed regular victories.

For one victory on these tanks, depending on the damage caused, you will receive 15-40k credits. We looked at the best World of Tanks tanks for farming in my opinion. What are your favorite machines for earning silver? Write your suggestions in the comments.

For the fan

Constantly earning credits and chasing statistics gets boring very quickly, so you need to be distracted and have fun from time to time. Tanks that are created specifically for fun help us with this:

  • T-49. One of the most fun cars in the game. The maximum speed of the tank is 65 km/h, and the presence of a 152mm cannon makes the T-49 simply a hated tank for most opponents. While some heavy tank is tanking in the direction, this car comes from behind, gives one shot for 700 damage and drives off calmly on CD. And if you play in a platoon, then fun is guaranteed.
  • KV-2. Good old log thrower. Slow, clumsy, cardboard tank, but that’s not its advantage. Playing at level 6 and having a 152mm M-10 gun, the tank is capable of simply destroying half of its opponents. The KV-2 is a one-shot machine. We calmly stand around the corner for 20 seconds, wait for reloading, then give out a bun for 700 damage and go back.

Despite the rather passive gameplay, killing enemies with one shot is quite fun.

  • PZ.KPFW. I AUSF. C. To experience all the fun of playing on PZ 1C, you don’t have to spend several days leveling up. It is enough to get the third level in the corresponding branch and unlock top-end equipment. Now you have a car with a top speed of 80 km/h. and a machine gun with 40 rounds. Flying around the map, the groove is literally capable of riddling any enemy. In addition to having fun, you can increase your statistics and earn some silver.

There are dozens more cars in the game for fun. I reviewed the tanks that are most popular among players. Haven't tried these cars yet? Play them and you will understand why they made it to this top.

The strongest armor in the game

This type of tank is suitable for those who like to be on the front line. There are quite a lot of vehicles in WOT with really strong armor, so I’ll just name the most armored models and let you choose which one to use. World of Tanks heavyweights:

  • IS-7.
  • IS-4.
  • ST-1.
  • T110E3.
  • T110E5.
  • Maus.
  • E-75.
  • VK 45.02 (P) AUSF. B.
  • E100.
  • JAGPANZER E100.
  • TYPE 4 HAVY.
  • TYPE 5 HAVY.

In addition to the tanks listed, there are others armored vehicles but they have a lot vulnerabilities in contrast to the above technique. Personally, my favorite after all the latest upgrades is the T110E5, which has good dynamics and a gun, as well as strong armor. What's your favorite weight?

Play at speed

Dynamic battles have always been interesting; in them you can not only deal damage, but also highlight enemies for your allies. Proper lighting is the key to victory. Let's look at several models of dynamic tanks that are capable of both fighting and shining:

  • T-62.
  • T-54.
  • Object 140.
  • Leopard 1.
  • E 50.
  • E 50 AUSF. M.
  • BAT.-CHÂTILLON 25 T AP.

With one shot

It was always fun in the game to hit an enemy and then watch how hot they were in the chat. I present to your attention a selection of the best tanks, on which you only need one shot to kill the enemy:

  • SU – 152.
  • S-51.
  • FV215B (183).
  • T92 HMC.
  • KV-2.

The guns of these tanks allow you to destroy the enemy in one shot. But this may not always be the case. Be prepared for the fact that instead of 900 damage you will get 100, but the cooldown will be about 20 seconds. Therefore, before playing with such a technique, learn the vulnerable points of tanks.

Right on target

The main snipers in the World of Tanks game are German and British vehicles. Among the most accurate tanks can be distinguished:

  • Leopard 1.
  • E 50.
  • E 50 AUSF. M.
  • PZ.SFL.IVC.
  • Panther.
  • Nashorn.
  • JAGDPANTHER.
  • E 25.
  • Grille 15.
  • Conqueror.
  • Centurion Action X.

The accuracy of the listed equipment was determined only by the first shot. If you shoot the E 25 like a machine gun and say that it has a crooked gun, then nothing can be done about it.

So the review of the World of Tanks game has come to an end. I hope you were able to learn something new and interesting from this article. If yes, then subscribe to the blog and share information on VKontakte and others in social networks. See you soon, dear friends.

This rating will present the best tanks of the famous online game "World of Tanks". On this moment There are more than 50 million registered players in World of Tanks, and more and more people are discussing which tank is the best.

The rating of the best "WOT" tanks was compiled by type - the best heavy tank, the best medium tank, etc. Surely each of you has your own favorite tank. After all, someone chooses a tank based on firepower, someone chooses a fast tank, and some choose based on the tank’s ability to withstand heavy damage inflicted by the enemy. Everyone has their own opinions, but still, in our opinion, the best World of Tanks tanks are:

The best light tanks

1 T-50-2

Among the numerous votes on the best lung tank "World of Tanks", the T-50-2 gets the most votes. This is Soviet light tank fifth level, which has very high speed and equally excellent maneuverability. The main purpose of this tank is to reveal the enemy's position and destroy his artillery.

2 VK-2801

Confidently takes second place after T-50-2 german tank VK 2801. This is an excellent light tank of the sixth level, which is distinguished by its good armor and weapons. True, this tank is much worse in maneuverability compared to the T-50-2.

The best medium tanks

1 T-62A

It was harder to choose the best medium tank compared to light tanks, but the choice fell on the Soviet Tier 10 tank T-62A. This tank has very good maneuverability and an accurate, rapid-fire gun, which gives it an advantage on the battlefield. One of the disadvantages of the tank is its weak armor compared to its classmates.

2 Bat Chatillon 25 t

Second place went to the French medium tank Bat Chatillon 25 t. This is a tenth level tank, which has good dynamics, small dimensions and a drum charging system. However, the weak armor of the Bat Chatillon 25 t and its small ammunition load can play a cruel joke on the tank during protracted battles. But still, the main advantage of the Bat Chatillon 25 t is its fiery power, which is many times greater than other medium tanks.

The best heavy tanks

1 IS-7

As for heavy tanks, here you can choose almost any tank and not go wrong. But still we gave our preference Soviet tank IS-7. Thanks to good mobility, a powerful weapon and strong armor, the IS-7 performs very well in team battles. In principle, a tank like the T110E5 could stand on par with it, but we still gave preference to the IS-7.

2 E100

Second best heavy tank we consider E100. Compared to the IS-7, which performed well in team battles, the E100 is practically unbeatable in an individual 1v1 battle, and all this is thanks to its strong firepower, which is far superior to other heavy tanks.

The best tank destroyers

1

As for anti-tank self-propelled guns artillery installations, then the following performed well: Object 268, German JagdPz E-100, French AMX-50 Fosh (155) and American T110E4. All of them are undoubtedly good, but we decided to give the first place to the JagdPz E-100, since it is simply unique in accuracy, firepower and durability, although compared to other tanks it is not very agile.

2

Well, this is probably one of the most popular tank destroyers in World of Tanks. Object 268 differs from its classmates in its very good mobility and excellent weapon. Object 268 was created on the basis of the famous T-10 tank.

The best self-propelled guns

1 T92

Well, here, as many self-propelled guns as there are, there are so many opinions. Almost all have their advantages and disadvantages, but still we decided to give the championship branch to such a self-propelled gun as the T92. The American has the highest damage in the game, compared to other self-propelled guns, as well as the smallest cannon, which gives him the opportunity to hide unnoticed in the bushes until the end of the battle.
