Rules for using the exclamation mark in Russian. The meaning of the exclamation mark on the dashboard

The native language and many symbols known since ancient times are the keys to access the treasures of the culture of our Ancestors and Ancestral memory; with their help, a person’s continuous relationship with the surrounding World is possible. From the point of view of physics, each letter, word or symbol represents corresponding vibrations, with the help of which, thanks to the principle of resonance, it is possible to connect to the corresponding levels of the enormous library of knowledge and wisdom accumulated by countless generations of our Ancestors. Distortion of language, as well as its simplification, entails a narrowing of the range of vibrations used by a person, which makes it possible to artificially limit a person’s ability to connect to a given library of knowledge and thereby make it difficult or even impossible for a person to access it. Due to the cutting off of a person from the knowledge and wisdom of the Ancestors, his degradation and destruction gradually occurs.

A similar situation occurs in the case of symbol distortion. Initially, it symbolizes a certain model of human perception and interaction with the outside world, archetypally fixed at the level of the unconscious. Therefore, any distortion of the symbol will correspondingly change the pattern of behavior at the deep levels of the subconscious, which will inevitably affect the fate of a person and the nature of his interaction with the outside world.

To date, for a number of reasons, some of the most important and significant characters, forming a person’s self-awareness and behavior patterns. In particular, the following symbol was excluded (Fig. 1):

It is both a letter and a symbol. After all, in every symbol and syllable Slavic language some part of the fundamental principles of the universe was initially encrypted. If you look at this symbol more closely, what does it resemble? He resembles a person. Body and head. This symbol reflects the essence of Life. In a figurative sense, such a symbol represents the connection between the Earthly and the Heavenly, where the point above the vertical line is the original one with whom a person constantly maintains an invisible relationship. Such a relationship is fixed in a person at the level of an archetype, arising from the collective unconscious and containing a certain model of behavior and meaning. Currently, after numerous language reforms, this letter symbol has been excluded from the Russian language, but it is still preserved in the Belarusian and Ukrainian languages.

Recently, when symbols and concepts began to be replaced, an inverted image of this symbol was introduced into everyday circulation (Fig. 2), which fundamentally changed its original internal meaning and content:

This is well known to everyone Exclamation point, it is currently customary to denote the expression strong emotions. In fact, this is an inverted symbol of Life, this is how a deceased person was designated in ancient chronicles, and this is exactly how he is perceived by a person on an unconscious level. And since language and symbols are tools for transforming physical reality, through an exclamation mark symbolizing a dead person, life energy is redirected to the other world, which inevitably leads to the gradual weakening and destruction of a person.

The inverted symbol of Life first appeared in the Catechism of Edward VI, printed in London in 1553. In German orthography, this sign appeared in the September Bible in 1797, after which its use gradually became almost universal. If in the second half of the last century such a symbol had not yet become widespread and could rarely be found on typewriters, now it has become actively used and its everyday use has become familiar to many people.

Our World is holistic and united, therefore the principles of interaction and transformation of physical reality apply equally to everything that exists, and not just to an individual person. Therefore, such a principle also has a corresponding impact on the life of individual communities and society as a whole.

In this regard, we can give an example of state and politician V.A. Yushchenko, who chose an inverted horseshoe with an exclamation mark as a symbol of his party (Fig. 3). As subsequent events showed, this did not lead to anything good. Of course, the reason for the negative development of events in in this case was a combination various factors, however, the use of an inverted horseshoe and an inverted symbol of Life initially invisibly carried a destructive principle.

In this regard, it is interesting to pay attention and think about the semantic content of many words and phrases associated with greetings, expressions of emotions or various wishes that are currently used in writing. For example: “Hello!”, “I wish you happiness!”, “Good!”, “I love you!”, “Beauty!” etc. In some cases, in order to express strong emotions, several similar symbols can be used at once, for example: “Hurray!!!”, “I wish for long years life!!!" etc., which figuratively significantly enhances the corresponding impact of the inverted symbol of Life. Such writing creates a contradiction between the meaning initially embedded in such phrases and their actual figurative perception at the level of the unconscious. Since it is at the level of the unconscious that the formation of physical reality occurs, such writing sets the appropriate vector for human development and properly shapes his destiny.

Obviously, most people simply do not think about it, because in the process of upbringing, appropriate habits and behavior patterns were formed that a person begins to follow automatically. However, after they become known features the impact of symbols on a person’s life, such information can no longer be ignored; one must at least take it into account and be guided by it when making appropriate decisions, if the end result is not indifferent.

Let everyone decide for themselves what to do in this situation. If you want to rectify such a situation, you can use the life-affirming letter “i” instead of an exclamation mark or use a suitable emoticon that most closely matches the emotion expressed when addressing a person.

The same applies to companies whose logos use certain symbols. The vector of the company’s movement and the success of its activities directly depend on their appearance and semantic content. In this regard, we can pay attention to the positive example associated with the German company Knaus, founded in 1960 and specializing in the construction of residential trailers for cars. As your logo this company uses a pair of swallows, which for some time were depicted diving down on trailers (See Figures 4 and 5 for a 1984 trailer). The good news is that after some time this symbol was fundamentally changed and now swallows are depicted taking off (Fig. 6).

Help in choosing a symbol for use as a company logo can be provided by the method AURAGRAPHS . With its help, you can create a logo that will most accurately correspond to the profile of the company and invisibly contribute to its development and prosperity. Also, using the AURAGRAFICS method, you can assess the degree of influence of the existing logo on the company’s activities.

There was another symbol in the ABC of Life, which few people know about today. It is depicted like this (Fig. 7):

Fig.7

This symbol is a sign of the unity of two principles; it was used to designate lovers Man and Woman, as well as happy family, community or community of like-minded people. Such a symbol, as one of the most significant, was one of the first to disappear from the ABC of Life.

In Rus', for many centuries, activities were carried out to destroy chronicles and invaluable written sources containing original Slavic words and concepts. Instead, along with the substitution and distortion of symbols, the use of foreign words, which are alien to our culture and not only sound different from the point of view of their vibrational component, but also often carry a completely different meaning and internal content.

For example, instead of beautiful word“coitus”, describing the merging of souls and bodies loving friend friend of a man and a woman who want to “go through life together, side by side,” the use of the word “sex”, soulless in its inner essence and devoid of bright human qualities, was imposed. In our culture, Man and Woman are always given key places in the picture of the universe, for this reason intercourse is equated to a mystery, in which the main result of the “path together” is the triumph of Life and the prolongation of the Family.

The culture of our Ancestors is unique in its internal essence and content; it is manifested in our native speech and many life-affirming symbols. Careful preservation of the language and correct use symbols archetypally fixed at the subconscious level allows a person to develop, free himself from the imposed darkness and find a state of harmony in relationships with the surrounding World.

Many car owners experience situations when an exclamation mark lights up on the instrument panel. It may be different on different car models. different forms and colors - yellow, red, white, in a square, in a circle, in a triangle... But in any case, it means that the car needs to be checked.

It must be said that such a check does not always require a visit to a car service center. In most cases, you can understand why the exclamation mark is on and what is happening to the car on your own.

From this article you will learn:

How the icons on the dashboard work

To understand what is happening with the car, first the car owner needs to understand how the icons on the instrument panel (pictograms) work and how they signal malfunctions.

On different cars, many different icons may be displayed on the instrument panel, informing the driver about the functionality of a particular system. This includes a braking system, an anti-lock braking system, a motion stabilization system, a battery charging system, an airbag system, a tire pressure monitoring system, and auxiliary systems like .

Every time you start the engine, all the icons on the instrument panel should light up and go out after a second or two - thereby showing that the bulbs in the icons have not burned out, the icons themselves are operational, and the systems that are monitoring are operational. If, when starting the engine, all the icons go out, but one or two remain on, it means that the system they are monitoring requires checking.

Sometimes icons may appear on the instrument panel while the vehicle is moving. Most often, this means that the car requires urgent intervention from servicemen and the driver needs to urgently stop and turn off the car.

Also, on some car models, the “exclamation mark” icon may not be constantly lit, but periodically light up and go out - “blink”.

What does the exclamation mark mean?

In the vast majority of cars, the "exclamation mark" icon on the instrument panel indicates problems with the car's braking system. Often it lights up in conjunction with an icon indicating the operation of the ABS system and the vehicle stabilization system (if equipped). The appearance of these icons on the driver's instrument panel means that there may be a problem with the brake system and the brakes cannot be trusted.

A malfunction in the car’s braking system is included in the list of malfunctions with which the operation of the car is prohibited by the “Rules” traffic" In addition, the driver himself should understand that driving with possibly faulty brakes can lead to the most dire consequences.

If the icon lights up immediately after starting the engine, it is better for the driver to postpone the trip and check the car’s braking system. If the icon lights up while driving, the driver needs to urgently stop and check the brake system.

Note: The "exclamation mark" icon located "inside the tire" indicates low pressure in the vehicle's tires. If it appears on the dashboard, you need to check the tire pressure at the nearest tire shop.

Reasons for the appearance of the icon

The most common cause of a car's brake system malfunction is a drop in brake fluid level. For this reason, on some cars the “exclamation mark” icon may “blink” - depending on driving conditions (the brake fluid splashes in the reservoir, causing its level to become lower or higher).

The fluid level may drop for several reasons, for example: due to a fluid leak, due to severe wear of the brake pads, or due to evaporation during long-term operation without replacement (fluid replacement according to the regulations must be done at least once every two of the year).

Another reason for the appearance of the icon may be a significant decrease in pressure in the brake system, which is created by the vacuum brake booster. In this case, diagnostics of the vacuum amplifier is necessary.

The icon on the instrument panel may also light up if the fault warning system itself is damaged. That is, if the brake system sensor stops working, it informs the driver about it.

The reason for the appearance of the “exclamation mark” icon can also be a malfunction of the hand brake - the parking brake system of the car. For example, the handbrake position sensor may not work correctly, or the handbrake itself may not be completely turned off.

It is worth saying that many modern cars have a built-in computer with extensive capabilities, among which, in addition to setting up vehicle functions and controlling the multimedia system, there is also an express diagnostics section, which displays information about the condition of the car. When any icon appears on the instrument panel, the driver would do well to look into this section, where you can learn about the problem in more detail.

What to do if the icon appears

The first thing the driver needs to do when the “exclamation mark” icon appears is to postpone his trip (or stop if the icon appears while driving).

Then you need to try to understand why the icon appeared. To do this you need:

  • Go to the “vehicle status information” section of the on-board computer (if there is one) and find there the reason for the appearance of the icon;
  • Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir under the hood and add fluid if necessary;
  • Check the connector of the brake fluid level sensor (remove and clean), it happens that dirt gets under the connector casing or brake fluid fills it;
  • Check the position of the handbrake and its limit switch, tighten and release the handbrake several times;
  • Check the condition of the brake pads (if the wheels allow this); excessive wear on the pads may be the cause low level brake fluid;
  • Check the operation of the brakes by pressing the pedal (if it is very soft or very tight, it is better not to drive the car again until the problem is eliminated);
  • If you can’t independently determine the reason for the appearance of the “exclamation mark” icon, it is better to call a tow truck and take the car to a car service center, or try to find a good on-call diagnostician;
  • If the nearest car service center is far away and there are no diagnostic specialists, you can try to read the errors yourself through the car’s diagnostic connector, via a special Bluetooth or Wi-fi adapter. For example, a very convenient and popular adapter is ELM-327, which can be ordered with home delivery;

If two icons are lit, “exclamation mark” and ABS

This often happens when two icons light up on the instrument panel at once, for example, an “exclamation mark” and an ABS icon (or a stabilization system icon in the form of a “car on a crooked path”).

Since the car’s braking system is often very closely connected with the ABS system (Anti-lock Braking System) and the motion stabilization system, if a malfunction occurs in one of these systems, the second may also stop working and/or be forced to turn off on-board computer. Therefore, if two icons appear on the instrument panel at once, you will have to look for a fault in two systems at once.

If, after troubleshooting the brake system, the icons on the panel do not disappear, then you will have to look for it in the ABS system (or stabilization system). However, it is necessary to make a reservation that it is very unlikely to find a malfunction in the ABS or stabilization system with a simple inspection, so if two icons appear at once, it is best to immediately contact a car service center (or read the errors yourself).

I checked everything - it didn’t help

If you couldn’t independently determine the reason for the appearance of the icons, then it’s time to go for diagnostics, and preferably in good service. For example, very inexpensive diagnostics in the VilGud car service network >>>

The exclamation mark is essentially the most commonly used punctuation mark among the ten punctuation marks in the Russian language and the most significant significant punctuation mark in the world's languages. Although appearance it may vary slightly. In this publication, we have summarized information about what the exclamation mark means in various areas activities and when it first began to be mentioned.

According to historians, the very first mentions of the exclamation mark go back to the 16th century. It was discovered in ancient grammars public figure and writer M. Smotritsky. An interesting detail - in that distant time, the exclamation symbol was called an amazing sign. However, the first rules for the use of this symbol were officially established by M. V. Lomonosov in the Russian Grammar in 1755. In England, a similar sign was introduced much earlier and was interpreted as a sign of admiration or exclamation “sign of admiration or exclamation”.

Versions of the origin of the exclamation mark

Nowadays, there are 3 versions of the origin of the exclamation mark:

First version. According to her, the exclamation mark was borrowed from in English "note of admiration" and is translated as a note of amazement. If we express " note of admiration“If we try to translate it in Google Translator, it will be translated as “exclamation mark.”

Second version. Some linguists argue that the exclamation mark was borrowed from Latin language"lo", which can be translated as "joy". To make the drawing of this symbol a little easier and simpler, the letters “l” were placed above the letter “o”.

Third version. There is an opinion that the exclamation mark came from a figure that was made with the hand, and which resembles the modern gesture - raised up middle finger, only in our case the finger should be the index finger and such a gesture indicated that the words of this person had to be taken seriously.

The exclamation mark was used in different areas activities. It can be found in both programming and household appliances, and in transport and in mathematics, etc.

Using the exclamation mark in writing

  • Can replace a comma in some sentences to emphasize the emotional appeal.
  • An exclamation point may be used at the end interrogative sentence, however, it should be placed according to the rules of Russian grammar, only after a question mark.
  • To emphasize some absurdity or lie, you can put in a sentence satirical exclamation point, which is enclosed in parentheses.
  • There is an exclamation mark in the letter the sign is placed at the end of the sentence to emphasize joy, amazement, appeal, surprise, excitement, the importance of the appeal, etc.
Can also be used in many other situations!

Exclamation mark in transport

  • It can be found in traffic rules.
  • It is also present in the car's operating instructions. In this case, an exclamation mark highlights sentences on which you should focus your attention and on special nuances when operating a vehicle.
  • In addition, car enthusiasts can find this symbol on the instrument panel of their car if they made a mistake somewhere. For example, gas runs out, or the door is not closed. This is an alarming indication and should be avoided.

However, most often the exclamation mark can be found on the rear window of the car. This means that the driver is an inexperienced beginner who has less than 3 years of driving experience.

Exclamation mark in mathematics

An exclamation point in mathematics denotes subfactorial first with the sign "!", followed by the letter "n" - "!n" or en factorial, then the designation is the opposite - "n!".

Exclamation mark in programming

  • In PHP or HTML (Hyper Text Markup Languages), the exclamation mark can be found in the creation of a comment when creating tables, styles, blocks, etc. This is done to make programming easier for the web developer.
  • Also an exclamation point with quotation marks flanking the "!" denotes the logical negation operation.

Exclamation mark in household appliances

A similar symbol indicates a violation of the main parameters or some kind of breakdown.
For example, in some refrigerators, when an exclamation mark appears on the external display, it means a violation temperature regime, namely its increase for an unknown reason. For example, in the refrigerator Veko model cn 332220 s an exclamation mark lights up, this most likely means a breakdown. In addition, in multicookers, an exclamation mark may also appear in case of warnings or malfunctions.

Inverted exclamation point - meaning

This sign is used V Spanish . It is placed at the beginning of an exclamation sentence, as an addition to the main exclamation symbol.

Exclamation mark required!

You see how easy it is to express your attitude to the subject of discussion with the help of one little squiggle, one punctuation mark! The exclamation mark is one of the ten punctuation marks used in Russian writing. Can symbolize a wide range of emotions - from surprise to command. The history of the origin of this sign is interesting. It is claimed that the mark of amazement was previously used - Latin word symbols of joy lo, where l was written above o. A kind of prototype of an exclamation mark. Later they came to the conclusion that it was necessary to introduce a spelling sign. By the way, in ancient Russian writing it was called nothing less than amazing. It's funny, isn't it?

I would also like to remind you that it is used not only in writing. For example, in mathematics, an exclamation mark denotes a factorial, and in programming languages it is used as a logical negation function. And you and I can remember more than one example of its use in everyday life.

Avid motorists will remember a black exclamation mark on a yellow background, indicating danger; housewives will say that in case of some problems, the electronic displays of modern convection ovens and bread makers flash furiously with the same sign. Since childhood, we have been accustomed to marking notes with one or even three exclamation marks if there is something very important. And having seen somewhere!, we immediately, almost instinctively, become wary, stop, and think. After all, I think, for almost everyone it is a symbol of danger, anxiety, a symbol of “Stop!” And the notorious: “Don’t enter - he’ll kill you!”?

Do you remember Anton Pavlovich Chekhov’s Christmas story: “The devil knows what...” he thought. - Tomorrow I have to get up for matins, but I can’t get this crazy thing out of my head... Ugh! But... when is it installed? Here's a habit for you! So you've got your hand! For forty years, not a single exclamation point! A?"

Perekladin crossed himself and closed his eyes, but immediately opened them; still stood against the dark background big sign..." about the terrible dream of a college secretary.

And the venerable exclamation mark continues to fulfill its original tasks - to draw attention, to warn, to surprise, finding more and more new uses. After all, with its help you can order something: “Do it immediately!”, and warn: “Be careful! ( poisonous mushroom, bad road, life-threatening)”, in fact, exclaim: “Lord!”, be surprised: “It can’t be!”... And much more!

The exclamation mark is a wonderful tool in the hands of many poets, writers, and journalists. With its help, you can accurately and accurately convey your state and attitude to what was said. It looks like a small brush, which is used to draw details, make small strokes, and paint the picture. Therefore, the exclamation mark makes our language richer, stronger and more varied. I am for its necessity!
