Information about the university
Kuban State Agrarian University began its activities in 1920, simultaneously with the Institute public education. It was a difficult, hungry year; not all universities were able to continue their work due to financial problems in Soviet Union. Kubansky State University closes, teachers and students are transferred to the Kuban Higher Pedagogical Institute ( former Institute public education).
Over the years of its work, the university changed its name several times; since 1970, it has been transformed into KubSAU. After 12 years, the activities of the university received an ambiguous assessment by the commission of the CPSU Central Committee - party workers concluded that the university has the level of a pedagogical institute. An unflattering assessment became an excellent incentive for new development educational institution. The transformations were based on connections with production and borrowing the best experience of Russian universities, serious scientific research, which was generously funded by the state. Today KubSAU is one of the best universities in the country and the world.
Faculties and specialties of the university
KubSAU students receive a classical university education in the humanities and natural sciences. The structure of the educational institution includes 17 faculties, 6 branches located on the territory Krasnodar region.
