This is a new format for Kazan - a salon of original compositions. The emphasis will be on the distinctive style, concept and professionalism of the work. Everything, including the interior, is subordinated to the idea of maximizing the beauty of flowers: there is nothing superfluous in it that distracts attention from the main thing - the flowers, for which the buyer, in fact, comes to the store.

How did you manage to invite Arayik Galstyan himself to the opening?

Indeed, this famous florist’s schedule is booked two years in advance. He travels to different cities and countries, flies from continent to continent with performances and master classes. Official florist-designer of the Russian branch of the Sotheby's auction house in Moscow, the capital's "Millionaire's Fair", Moscow international festival arts “Tradition and Modernity”, state-level events are only a small part of his titles and achievements. But also the outrageous master florist Arayik Galstyan - my teacher and friend. He has his own school in Moscow - Araik Galstyan Moscow International Floral Design school, where I study.

What did you do before entering Galstyan’s school and why did you decide to open such a specific business?

Recently, Arayik and I went to a serious event in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), he performed his own floristic show and presented fashion bouquets. After this show, I had a great desire to open my own store and work in a style and concept close to Araik’s style. It was Galstyan who helped me decide on a profession and understand myself. Initially, I did not intend to become a florist. He graduated from the Petroleum Faculty of Kazakh Chemical Technology Institute, then worked in the civil service for four years, and at the same time also received legal education. But then I realized: being an official is not for me, I want something else. Just then, three years ago, elder sister opened in Kazan new project- a florist workshop, brought stabilized flowers from St. Petersburg.

And she invited me to go to Moscow to study to become a florist. This was the beginning of my, so to speak, creative career. I entered the Moscow school “A Thousand Leaves”, took a course in commercial floristry, learned how to make some bouquets and generally understood the basis of floristry. And I was surprised that it was so interesting and I liked working with flowers so much. Then, together with my sister, I opened a company selling flowers and interior design. But I still wanted something more.

And one day before the New Year, I accidentally attended a master class in Moscow by the famous florist from Belgium Moniek Vanden Berghe. She taught classes at Arayik Galstyan's school. This is how I first met the master. Three days later, Galstyan himself came up to me and said: you are a talented person and should learn from us. Needless to say, I liked his proposal. This is a very high level, all teachers come from different countries, these are the most famous florists in the world, the diploma is issued on an international standard.

Since childhood, I lived among roses, lilies and chrysanthemums: my family was engaged in export from Holland. I began to learn the basics and immerse myself in the world of floristry intuitively, when I was still a teenager. In addition to rich experience with flowers, my family, and especially my beloved mother, gave me what a creative person could only dream of: complete acceptance, support and unconditional love.

I am happy to share this love that overwhelms me! And flowers - earthly embodiments of heavenly beauty - help me with this.

The best florists of Russia and Europe are my inspiration!

I always closely followed domestic and global trends and chose as my references people who created art, did not sacrifice their own views in favor of commerce, were not afraid of experiments, and with their work really changed the industry and moved it forward.

Like them, I value freedom of creative expression, and like them, I am constantly on the move. For eight years I lived and worked in Milan, then there were Moscow and Saint Petersburg. I dedicated six years of my life to Baku - and I can proudly say that I changed the face of floristry in Azerbaijan. My work, my projects and my students have formed a new attitude towards it and created a vast competitive market. The audience, as they say, “tasted” unusual bouquets created with soul - and the demand for them is growing! And I left Baku and returned to St. Petersburg. However, are there any boundaries for free creativity? I'm still happy to work for you all over the world!..

Floristry is my life's work

I have global projects behind me: a blooming piano for Lady Gaga at the official opening of the First European Games in Baku, the opening ceremony of the museum of the architect Zaha Hadid, formal reception regarding the opening of the first European Games in Baku, presentation of the Sotheby's auction house - and much more!

At the Florint European Floristry Championship in 2016, for the first time in the history of the country, I represented Azerbaijan and received the Audience Award. My achievements do not go unnoticed: I have been written about many times in International Floral Art, and publications appear regularly in international publications. In 2017, I became an ambassador for Floral Fundamentals.

At a certain point, I realized that my knowledge and experience allowed me to share and teach - and launched my own floristry courses. Hundreds of people have already become my students. different corners peace. Many colleagues and acquaintances consider me too wasteful: you shouldn’t reveal your cards, a master must have secrets! But I am sure that those who give generously receive even more in return. And only together we can change the world and make life around more beautiful.

The secret of success of leading florists in Russia and the world

I am called a multifaceted florist who creates projects at the intersection of craft and art. Art attracts me, and I am sure that in the near future I will realize my potential in this area.

What makes a flower arrangement an art object? A non-standard view of flowers, a unique style of compositions, Western structure and restraint, Eastern chic and smooth lines, professional work with large forms and complex spaces, a combination of incongruous materials. But the main thing is inspiration.

My mission is to inspire millions of people with floristry. Show the possibilities of floristry, its sensuality and depth. Seeing flowers through my eyes, you will find new love own life!
