Afterwards, the failed soldier decided to go to his brother Konstantin in Ukraine, where he lived for quite a long time. And it was in Ukraine that Valery began the path to his true calling - writing and performing popular songs.
Before Valery Meladze arrived in Ukraine, relations with his brother were not as close as the parents would like, but after Valery and Konstantin, as people say, water became inseparable.
