As children, we all dream a lot, thinking that we can control everything... and even more. Each of us lived through this wonderful time of dreams and fantasies, so stories like these awaken a certain amount of nostalgia.

  • As a child I loved the series “Clone”. Particularly admired muslim women. I thought that I would grow up, get married and also always walk around wearing makeup, dressed up, and belly dance for my husband. Grew. Got married. Yeah, right now...
  • IN primary school wrote an essay on the topic “What do you want to become when you grow up.” In general, my classmates wrote that they wanted to be policemen, hairdressers, doctors and astronauts, and I alone wrote that I wanted to become a cat. I just didn’t understand the assignment correctly, so I wrote about who I want to be in my next life.
  • As a child, I was a sick child, so my mother and I often went to the clinic. I was simply fascinated by how the cleaners washed the floors. Whoosh, whoosh, turned the rag over, whoosh, whoosh... Cool. I wanted to become a cleaner.
  • When I was little, I dreamed of becoming a salesman. After all, sellers own stores, which means they can take whatever they want from there. That's what I thought until my mother told me the truth.
  • I dreamed of becoming a train. Not as a driver, but as a train driver. I was always delighted by the way he solemnly approached the people waiting for him on the platform. The dream never came true.
  • As a child, I wanted to become Dima Malikov. No kidding.
  • IN school years I was very jealous of my parents, because they don’t have to do any homework in the evenings. Go to work during the day and do your own thing the rest of the time. I dreamed that when I grew up, I would do the same. Now I’m 25. I come home from work and do nothing. The future has arrived!
  • My younger brother dreamed of becoming a squid. It actually meant painter.

And as a child I wanted to become girl lung behavior. I remember one neighbor who was so beautiful that I can’t even describe her. When she drove up to the entrance, all the girls from the yard came running to look at her. She gave clothes to older girls, and gave us nail polishes. She was unusual, standing out from the crowd of other girls. The yard grannies always said the typical insulting phrase when they saw her. And then I decided that I would be like her - a girl of easy virtue. Of course, then I said it in a ruder form, just like the grannies on the bench. My parents even had a tape recording from a conversation with the school psychologist when I was accepted into 1st grade. I’m sitting there looking so smart, and when asked what I want to become when I grow up, I proudly answer that I’ll become a “sh...”! Mom was shocked, dad sat giggling, and I couldn’t understand their reaction, they should have been proud of me.

Every time I was asked as a child what I wanted to be when I grew up, the answers surprised adults. Until the age of 4, I was very flighty: I wanted to be a singer, a princess, and an Amazon, like many girls at that age. The ones I saw in cartoons and TV shows. Over the years, my preferences changed: inspired by wonderful books, I wanted to become a writer. Then the desire to become a photojournalist or TV presenter took over, and after some time I gradually approached my current dream and, I hope, future profession– I want to be a journalist.

We grow up and begin to realize that our childhood dream of becoming a princess will remain childish, so we choose something more realistic.

I decided to ask the girls I knew about who they dreamed of being as children and who they ultimately decided to become.

Ekaterina Zygmantovich, 17 years old.

I really wanted to become an archaeologist! When I was 6 years old, I was given an encyclopedia about dinosaurs. It contained many photographs of their skeletons, as well as images from excavation sites. I really wanted to grow up, open up the new kind dinosaur and become famous for it. Well, then I wanted to become a journalist!

Maria Vetoshkina, 18 years old.

In childhood, but not very early, I wanted to be a diplomat or translator.
And I decided to become a financier.

Anastasia Shevtsova, 17 years old.

As a child, I wanted to become a singer (and even more so early childhood- a seller of sweets), and now, most likely, a translator. It’s just that in our country I’m unlikely to be able to build a successful career as a singer, so I decided to leave it as a hobby. What else attracts me besides singing? Only languages! Therefore the translator.

Irina Yaskova, 20 years old.

I wanted to be a doctor when I was very little. Then, however, everything changed a million times. It turned out that there was no escape from healing after so many years. Mom worked as a nurse. Then it probably had an effect. I really liked her part. She worked in a military camp. And now. It just happened somehow. There didn’t seem to be a huge desire, but something attracted me, so I went.

Natalia Sashcheko, 18 years old.

As a child, I wanted to become a doctor, but only a surgeon and nothing else. However, I changed my mind: I began to understand that memorization was not for me. And you have to study very well in the medical field in order to be selected to study as a surgeon. You need to know everything: error is unacceptable - human life anyway. And female surgeons are not particularly making their way. You have to be from a dynasty of doctors and have a corresponding surname, or forget about family, friends and just work. I decided that I wanted to live and somehow gradually came to the conclusion that I would be an auditor. So I’m studying at BSEU now.

Years pass: we grow up, our views and dreams constantly change. I really hope that both the heroines of my survey and I myself did right choice. That we can all get what we dream of now!

This is exactly the question I asked the bloggers you are already familiar with from this or this post. To be honest, the answers surprised me. I thought everyone dreamed of becoming an astronaut.

I remember my father always joked: “First the astronaut in me died, then the pilot in me died, then the engineer in me died... in short, everyone died.”

And now it's time to move on to the guys we're following now.

Well, and of course, in the comments, I would ask everyone to unsubscribe, who did you dream of becoming as a child?

What Artem Mellum wanted to become – blogtactics

As a child I wanted to become a sailor. Conquer seas and countries.

But the dream was pushed into the background for many years.

And only 3 months ago, I finally decided to try what it was like to be a sailor and went on a voyage.

Who did Vladislav Chelpachenko want to become – chelpachenko

I dreamed of becoming a ninja turtle :)

I even made myself wooden chucks.

Then I dreamed of becoming a wizard, and as a result I became!

I create magic in the heads of my clients :)))

Who did Pyotr Alexandrov want to become – wpnew.

Mom says that when I was very young (up to 6 years old) somewhere, I told her that I would work without leaving home.

She didn’t understand what it looked like or how it was possible at that moment.

Now all this has come true, to everyone's surprise.

Since childhood, I first wanted to become an astronaut (like everyone else, probably), then a policeman.

Later, as an adult, I thought that I wanted to become a programmer.

And at the university I stopped thinking about it, I thought that I would work like everyone else, maybe as a manager somewhere. I haven’t thought about it in general anymore.

Who wanted the article Mikhail Shakin – shakin

As a child, most of all I wanted to become a sailor and sail the seas and oceans.

My father served in the navy Far East, uncle is a sea captain who visited many countries, plus I really loved reading books about adventures, especially Jules Verne.

I would really like to be born in the era of the Greats geographical discoveries. I would definitely take part in some expeditions.

I even wanted to enter the nautical school in Arkhangelsk. But the 90s came, and the economic situation in our family did not allow me to go to study in another city.

Well, never mind, I fully quenched my wanderlust when I worked as a truck driver in America for a year and a half.

There I visited 45 states, many of them dozens of times, and visited Mexico and Canada.

Who did Sergei Sosnovsky want to become – sosnovskij

The fact is that until I was 18-19 I didn’t even know who I would become, who I would work.

I didn’t want to become an astronaut (although now I understand that this is a super-profession. Astronauts discover things that the other 99.9999% of the planet’s inhabitants can only dream of).

Some of my peers wanted to be bankers or something else. I understood that everything in life flows and changes.

Desires that were 5 years ago seem funny. So it turned out that instead of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Communications, I entered marketing.

So it turned out that instead of working purely in my specialty, I became interested in the Internet and entrepreneurship :) .

As a result, childhood dreams about the future prof. certainties usually pass with childhood :)

Who did Maxim Dovzhenko want to become – workformation

Who did I want to be as a child? Well, of course, an astronaut! And it's not a joke.

In my childhood, Soviet cosmonautics broke records for the number of days lived in Earth orbit and the number of launches of interplanetary probes. The Mir station gathered cosmonauts of different nationalities and peoples in its premises. And I, a Soviet pioneer, could not lose sight of this.

Therefore, I read everything related to space technology and flights to other planets. At the same time, I became interested in amateur astronomy from the 1st grade.

I remember my first telescope, through which I looked at the wonders of the starry sky in the late evenings! And in the 10th grade, my dream came true - my father gave me a real telescope (Mitsar Tal-1, model 1989).

This bandura weighed almost 25 kg and I carried it around all evenings. I remember how one winter night I decided to show my father the 4 visible satellites of Jupiter. Imagine the picture - it’s 10 degrees below zero, and my dad in only shorts and a T-shirt is trying to see something through the lens... :)

My second dream was to become a paleontologist - a seeker of bones of ancient animals. This disease began in the 5th grade, when I was admitted to school library to the shelves of encyclopedias. I think my peers still remember such colorful volumes of children's publications. Later, I re-read Obruchev’s “Plutonia” for the 5th time, leafed through all sorts of magazines revealing the history of the Earth.

By the way, I recently watched with my daughter the fantastic action movie “World Jurassic" When stegosaurs (those dinosaurs with huge bony plates on their backs) appeared on the screen, my daughter was surprised at their purpose. I immediately took out from the shelf of my personal library an old Czech book by Zdeněk Špinar, “The History of Life on Earth,” and almost instantly opened the page with these creatures. This amazed her and made me happy - childhood dreams never grow old! :)

Who wanted the article Anton Kramorov – jonyit

I developed my abilities over many lifetimes and when I was born in 1990, I already knew what I would do.

I developed an affinity for the computer when I was 3 years old; on Channel One there was a program where they reviewed games from dandies, and as soon as I saw this, I immediately began to beg the dandy’s father. He said that with my payday he would buy me a dendi and a month later we walked around the local “children’s world” and looked for a console.

My father saw a “subord”, it was a dandy, only with a keyboard and educational programs. Now I understand that there was a basic basic one there and it was impossible to figure it out on my own.

Passion for games, then I studied at a technical school to become a programmer, then at one of the best universities in the country, where I realized that education is complete crap, at least in Russia. The teachers didn’t understand banal html, and it’s not even worth talking about C++, although programming was an emphasis.

At the age of 20, I realized that I needed to get an education on my own, and from then on I started as a blogger, and to tell you what has come of it now, you need to write a whole post =)

What did Maxim Voitik want to become - seoslim?

When I was very little, I dreamed like everyone else of becoming an astronaut or a policeman. Even though I knew for sure that I couldn’t fly into space, it seemed possible to go to serve in law enforcement.

To a greater extent, my thinking was influenced by close relatives who worked in the Police, so as a child I looked at them as heroes (I thought they were cool guys in uniform) and wanted to become like them.

But every year I grew up, and with it my ideas about the world grew up. I don’t want to speak badly about those who protect us, but the system changes people and a couple of them are not in better side, but I don’t want to be like that.

Childhood dreams are gone, and reality has come in their place. :)

Who did I want to become?

My story is quite close to Anton Kramorov.

When I was three years old, I became acquainted with a “robotron”; it was the first computer in the city; it was located in the research laboratory of the BIIZhT University (now BelGUT).

Everything was still on a pseudograph then, here’s a screenshot so you can understand what it is.

And before this was clear to everyone and was the pinnacle of scientific and technical progress.

And yes, I played it :) And even set records. Then I realized how cool it is to create games and bring joy to people.

At the same time, a childhood dream appeared to start conquering e-sports. At first I played everything, then, as you already know, I decided on Starcraft: Brood War, created a team and together, we achieved something.

I miss those times.

Similar to Kramorov - he became disillusioned with the education system, he also wanted to become a programmer, but left the third year of university, where he had wanted to enroll since childhood.

I started to develop on my own, and now I’m a blogger, family man. Oh future plans I will tell you in the following articles. Moreover, now is the end of the year - it’s time to set goals for yourself.

Well, that’s probably all, dear friends.

On this I want to take my leave, see you in new articles in the coming year.
