How to get rid of bad thoughts. How to learn to control your thoughts with panic and depression. Thought Control Technique"White Room". If you do not know how to manage your thoughts, this material is for you.

Why control your thoughts?

Ability to control your thoughts- an important skill to control many conditions, ranging from panic and depression to anger and bouts of self-denial.

"He who controls his thoughts controls his life." The Psychologist of Happiness.

Control and management of your thoughts, as you will understand further, is not at all blocking and denying your mental judgments. The practice of thought control is practice.

Mindfulness is the key to controlling thoughts and managing emotions.

Evaluative thoughts often serve as a trigger for many emotional states:

  • "I'm fat and no one needs me!" and now it's knocking at your house.

  • “I probably have an incurable disease and will die soon?” - welcome, !

  • “He shouldn’t do this to me! Never!" - a broken cup on the floor and hands shaking from.

Do you want to learn how to manage your thoughts? Yes? Right? What for?

The practice of observing thoughts "White Room"

In this beneficial mindfulness exercise, you will observe your mind at work, imagining that it is a white room through which thoughts pass.

You can perform it in any quiet place, sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths in and out. Relax your body with one of the relaxation methods that are comfortable for you.

Breathe slowly and evenly throughout this exercise.

Imagine that you are in a medium sized white room with two doors.

Imagine that your thoughts float through a white room and leave it forever.

Thoughts enter through one door and leave through another.

As soon as a thought appears, concentrate on it and try to categorize or non-judgmental.

Consider each thought carefully, with curiosity and compassion, until it is gone.

Don't try to analyze it, just note if it's evaluative or not.

Don't challenge it, don't try to believe or disbelieve in it.

Just be aware that this is a thought, a brief moment of your brain activity, an occasional visitor to your white room.

Beware of thoughts that you have categorized as evaluative. They will try to take possession of you, to force you to accept the assessment.

What is the point of this thought control exercise?

The point of this exercise is to notice how "sticky" evaluative thoughts are - how they get stuck in your mind and how difficult it is to get rid of them.

You will determine that a thought is painful and judgmental by how long it stays in the white room, or by whether you begin to feel any emotion about it.

Try to constantly maintain even breathing, keep a clear image of the white room and doors, watch thoughts and classify them.

Remember! The thought is not you! A thought is just a thought!

You are much more than your thoughts. You are the person who creates the white room through which thoughts are allowed to pass. You have a million of them, they leave, but you still remain.

Thought does not require any action from you. Thought does not oblige you to believe in it. The thought is not you!

Just watch the thoughts pass through the white room. Let them live their short life and tell yourself that they have a right to exist, even estimated ones.

Just acknowledge your thoughts, let them go when the time comes, and get ready to meet new ones one by one.

Continue this practice until you feel that you have truly distanced yourself from your thoughts. Do it until even evaluative thoughts begin to pass through the white room without lingering.

What is the nature of your thoughts and what were your evaluative thoughts about? Share!

How important is it to be able to control thoughts? Negative emotions caused by heavy thoughts cause significant harm to the human psyche and body. The ability to stop them has a positive effect on well-being in general. How to control your thoughts? Is it possible to learn this?

Why do bad thoughts arise?

There are several factors that influence the tendency to negative thoughts:

  1. habit of criticizing. If a person is used to criticizing others and himself, he constantly accumulates negative emotions.
  2. Low self-esteem, lack of confidence in yourself and your own abilities.
  3. Inability to develop and achieve their goals.
  4. Lack of support. When a person in a difficult moment cannot rely on a loved one, problems begin to completely absorb him, and it is much more difficult to cope with them.

It is important to determine what specifically causes bad thoughts and causes negative emotions, and try to eliminate it.

What gives the ability to control thoughts?

Happiness. Often the smallest and most frivolous troubles, constantly scrolling in the head, give rise to negative emotions, upset and even lead to depression, do not allow a person to become fully happy. The ability to let go, to get away from heavy thoughts helps to maintain a positive attitude.

Liberty. People who have mastered this skill are less dependent on the opinions of others. They are more open and confident. On the contrary, too frequent occurrence of bad thoughts gives rise to a kind of dependence - a person becomes a slave to his feelings, fails. Only by breaking this circle, by ceasing to attach too much importance to the opinions of others, can one become truly free.

Calm. When a person is absorbed in negative thoughts, immersed in negative emotions, he loses the ability to think carefully, so he can commit rash acts that he will later regret. To act rationally, you must gain control of your mind.

Success. When a person is dominated by emotions, it is very difficult to go towards achieving one's goals - excessive ardor interferes, makes one deviate from the intended course. Curbing your feelings helps you see tasks more clearly and develop the most effective plans for their implementation.

Finding yourself. A person who gives in to negative reflections sees distorted not only the world, but also himself - he cannot always understand exactly what he needs for happiness and a harmonious existence. By controlling his thoughts, it is easier for a person to understand himself, because nothing distracts him.

How to manage your thoughts?

It is more correct and relevant to first ask the question “ what prevents control thoughts?“A lot of different things get in the way, but all of them can be called in one phrase - mental garbage. What is mental trash? This:

  • fears, jealousy, anxiety, resentment, etc.
  • complexes
  • limiting beliefs and beliefs
  • dependencies
  • and much more

mental junk consumes a lot of your precious energy, and in return brings only illness, suffering and takes away the ability to control your thoughts, and therefore your life. The Turbo-Gopher system (official site) can help free your mind from mental burden. The system is easy to use and has a number of advantages:

  • it addresses the roots of problems, rather than masking them - and therefore eliminates them forever
  • it uses the hidden possibilities of the subconscious, which explains the high speed of getting rid of problems

It is also worth understanding some things that will help on the way to controlling your thoughts.

Acceptance of your imperfection

First of all, a person must come to terms with the fact that he is not perfect. Everyone makes mistakes, suffers defeats. Self-blame, the constant experience of one's own mistakes leads to depression. If a person perceives his failures as something inevitable, life becomes much easier.

Understanding that thought is real

If a person perceives his own thoughts as something abstract, then he does not pay due attention to them, he allows them to appear one after another. In a stream of uncontrolled thoughts, you can even drown.

It is important to understand that thoughts are real - they force the brain to secrete various chemical compounds, cause all kinds of emotions, have a noticeable effect on a person's mood and self-awareness, on his attitude to life.

Faith in your abilities

You need to understand that a person is free to choose what to think about. Various thoughts can arise by themselves, but only a person decides whether they are worth developing. You should stop bad feelings and dwell on positive ones.

Concentration

The next stage is to develop the ability to transfer and keep attention on something specific - an object or a form. For example, at the moment when negative thoughts overcome, focus on the first thing that catches your eye - a book, a picture, a reflection in a mirror, a view from a window. At this time, no extraneous thoughts should arise, you must learn to completely immerse yourself in what you are looking at.

This skill can be developed through regular practice. It is best to choose specific hours for classes (for example, 8, 16 and 20 hours), and exercise daily. You should choose a subject and completely focus on it. Extraneous thoughts that come to mind must be ignored, driven away. At first, it may not work, but over time, attempts will increasingly be crowned with success.

positive thinking

Now you need to learn to think positively. How does the body react when a person thinks about something bad? Often his heartbeat quickens, his muscles tense up, his palms begin to sweat, and sometimes even his blood pressure rises. When people think positively, the brain releases chemicals that improve the condition. At this time, the mood rises, breathing evens out and slows down, the body relaxes.

This simple illustrative example helps to understand how destructive negative emotions can be and how positive thinking can be beneficial.

You should give yourself the installation: “I am closed to all kinds of negative influences. I accept and give only positive impulses. The next task is to follow this decision, not to doubt one's own abilities, in the possibility of keeping the promise made to oneself.

Employment

The brain should not be idle, it should be constantly loaded. In the absence of occupation, bad thoughts and feelings are born by themselves. It is important to constantly make sure that the head works, to give tasks to the mind.

Ability to enjoy the little things

Even small joys and successes should bring positive emotions. You need to learn to notice them, to experience them to the fullest, to feel every moment of life.

indulgences

Man is not a robot. If difficulties arise on the way to the intended goals, forced deviations from the course, one should accept them calmly, without anger and irritation at oneself. It is important to learn to forgive yourself for mistakes and praise for successes. Don't dwell on the bad.

Philosophical attitude to life

If something went wrong, it didn’t work out, it means that the time has not yet come. You need to take it calmly. Not everything in the world is logical and a person cannot control the events that take place. The ability to experience failures and negative events calmly is the key to longevity and psychological health.

Switching attention

When bad thoughts and emotions appear, the mood worsens, you need to be able to shift your attention to something good: remember pleasant moments from the past or dream about future successes.

By learning how to learn how to control your thoughts, you can significantly improve your life, find happiness, harmony and peace.

Frequent companions of the spiritual life of man. Such thoughts form a habit that turns into negative thinking and can even cause serious health problems. There are 7 effective ways to help overcome negative thoughts and emotions forever.

Complex thinking, “fixation” on some things from the past or the present - everyone has experienced this state at least once in their life. Coaches and mentors often hear from their clients who want to get rid of negative feelings and thoughts: “I would like to control my mind.” However, it can often increase frustration, anxiety, or even depression, and make things worse.

The thing is, you can't completely control them. And by trying not to think about something or trying to suppress thoughts, their repetition can be made even more frequent.

Russ Harris, author of The Happiness Trap, says that 80% of our thoughts are negative. And according to Emma Seppala, author of The Happiness Track, the brain's habit of thinking negatively is a kind of protective and protective process. Therefore, negative thoughts enter our minds: “We have such a strong tendency towards negativity that there is a distorted view of reality.”

Our body "responds" to the emotions experienced - this was proved by scientists from Finland. They made "".

How to control your thoughts? Individuals who keep pace with modernity dream of learning this science. In the era of Internet domination, almost every individual heard the statement that the visual image produced by the brain through consciousness is something material, in other words, every thought of the subject is transformed into reality. That is why an increasing number of human individuals believe that it is important to control their thoughts. After all, the direction of thinking can predetermine the future life of an individual - positive thoughts lead to well-being and success, thought processes that proceed in a negative direction will only attract troubles and various kinds of problems. The ability to regulate one's own thought flow can be considered a real "panacea" that gets rid of everyday problems. Since there are no human subjects who, at least occasionally, did not dream about the useless, did not get upset, did not harbor resentment, did not wish harm to a neighbor or a passerby. There are no people in whose heads negative thoughts would not periodically arise. Moreover, many people like to come up with an unfavorable development of events, thereby attracting “bad” situations into their own lives. In the head of an average adult individual during daylight hours, about fifty thousand all kinds of thoughts rush through, which he is not able to control, however, there is no need for such actions. You just need to learn how to cut off negative thoughts from positive thoughts.

How to learn to control your thoughts and feelings

The ability for mental activity is the main difference between the human subject and the animal. Nature itself gave people this precious gift. However, it can also occasionally become the cause of serious trouble. Since, if negative thoughts appear quite often, he systematically dramatizes various life events, then he has a good chance of becoming a “slave” of his own thoughts. Therefore, it is important to learn to control your thoughts and feelings.

First of all, it should be clearly understood that thoughts are not randomly generated by the brain. To some extent, all thoughts of a person are the result of many interconnected circumstances in which the individual finds himself at the moment or has found himself before. Since the thought processes of any individual are quite strongly influenced by his environment, living conditions and events. Simply put, “bad” thoughts are almost always the result of negative external influences, from which you can and even need to defend yourself.

So, we control thoughts and feelings.

First rule. It is necessary to come to terms with your own imperfection, because the ideal representatives of the human species do not exist. Each subject, in its own way, is somehow imperfect. Therefore, having reconciled with this axiom, a person will cease to engage in self-criticism and experience in vain, but will begin to love his own person as he really is.

The second rule says that urgent matters simply do not exist, everything can wait. Therefore, you do not need to set strict limits for yourself and carry out the planned tasks in strict accordance with the list. Do something better at will. This will make life much easier and save time. After all, work that is done with pleasure is done much faster. In the first place, a person should always take care of loved ones, and then everything else.

The next rule is to ignore bad thoughts. If a negative is born in your head, then you don’t need to dwell on it. It is necessary to try to distract yourself and think about pleasant things, family, upcoming shopping or vacation. You need to understand that situations without a way out simply do not happen. Therefore, development should not be programmed in the direction of the negative. It is better to postpone the solution of a problematic issue for a while if bad thoughts overcome. A ready-made solution that satisfies the needs of the subject will come by itself. A life filled with positive thoughts becomes much happier, brighter and more colorful.

Rule four speaks of the need to learn to perceive problematic situations philosophically. That is, any troubles are experiences. This must be remembered. Therefore, any even the most serious problem needs to be analyzed, and not fall into despair from its seeming insolubility.

The fifth rule is to enjoy life. After all, it is not a path to happiness, on the contrary, happiness is the road to life. A happy subject also has a beautiful existence. And besides this, exceptionally kind and positive faces will be attracted to such an individual. That is why a positive life attitude will transform life for the better.

The sixth rule - you must definitely give relief. After all, life is not an army that obeys a strict routine. Although even in the army, leave is allowed. No subject is able to do everything at the highest level. It's just not possible. Therefore, you need to forgive yourself for minor mistakes and not get hung up on trifles. In addition, you need to sometimes allow yourself some liberties and deviations from the planned life strategy.

The seventh rule says that more is not better. You need to learn to be content with little, to enjoy simple phenomena, for example, from the fact that the sun shines brightly or from the endless starry sky above your head. Without satisfaction, the small will never be big.

The next rule is based on kindness to others. Strangers and even close people do not always need to know the true opinion about themselves. Moreover, truth is an elastic concept. One subject may consider impudence a vice, and another a vital necessity and admire this trait. It is impossible to insult a person as a person, and one's own opinion about an individual should be reported only when this individual is interested in him. And even in this case, you need to be restrained and correct. Only with such an attitude towards the surrounding society will a person be respected and appreciated, and there will be fewer reasons for filling the brain with negative thoughts.

The ninth rule says that the easier the subject relates to ongoing events, the more success he will be able to achieve. After all, negative thoughts are born as a result of constant experiences, worries and an unrealizable desire to get everything at once. You need to understand that there is a time for everything. If something is missing, it means that it is simply not yet time to get what you want.

Live one day - that's what the tenth rule says. You don't have to imagine your own future. After all, it may not yet be determined. With the help of positive thinking, you can create a new happy future. You should enjoy being here and now, because no one knows what will happen in five minutes. You need to understand that, since each individual has a negative experience in the past, periodically “bad” thoughts associated with it will arise in the head, thereby programming the events of the future. In other words, if an individual is constantly haunted by negative thoughts about the experience, then the future will be burdened with problematic moments. You need to learn to forgive and let go of past hurts. A person who controls his thoughts is able to reach unprecedented heights.

There are several methods to help you take control of your own thoughts. The first method is the ability to distract attention. If you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts, you should immediately remember a pleasant incident or think about something good. You need to get all the bad things out of your head.

Concentration training also helps to gain control over the flow of thoughts. The systematic concentration of attention on positively colored phenomena and events gradually leads to a significant decrease in negative thoughts, up to their complete disappearance.

You need to learn to say “goodbye” to all “bad” thoughts in a timely manner. After all, they are ballast, an unnecessary burden that only burdens life. At the same time, it is impossible to roughly eradicate negative thoughts from the head. You should live in harmony with your own "I". Getting rid of “bad” thoughts can be represented as a kind of formula: a negative mental image has appeared in the head, it is necessary to analyze it, rethink it and say goodbye to it with a light heart. To prevent such an image from reappearing in the head, one must not commit the actions that led to its appearance. That is, the timely elimination of the cause leads to the non-occurrence of its consequences.

Every “bad” thought needs to be fueled by emotions. Thinking about negative images of consciousness and their analysis provide the strongest emotional nourishment, which leads to the "burnout" of negative thoughts.

Self-doubt also generates a lot of negative emotions in the head. Therefore, you need to develop confidence in yourself. It is also recommended to criticize your own person less, smile more and enjoy even the most insignificant moments.

In addition, you can do yoga or meditation related to breath control. After all, as you know, when we control our breathing, we control our thoughts.

How to control thoughts and emotions

Why learn to manage your own emotions and thought flow? To become happier and find freedom. After all, if you do not take control of the visual images produced by the brain, and emotions, then they will take over the subject, and this is fraught with rash actions that will have negative consequences. In addition, it is easier for the environment to control those individuals whose emotional habits they are well aware of. Colleagues, close persons, comrades or friends, knowing the emotional reactions of the subject, can manipulate his behavior with the help of such knowledge. The nature of emotions is spontaneous. They are unpredictable and can often take a person by surprise at the most inopportune moment, thereby violating his plans. An individual who is unable to cope with his own emotional manifestations can be compared to a faulty car that rushes at speed, and at any moment the necessary part may fall off, which will lead to the inevitable death of passengers. The spontaneity of emotions makes it difficult for the individual to move towards long-term planning. Since sudden sensual impulses constantly make “bad” adjustments to the course of life, forcing you to turn in the opposite direction from the goal to call on passions.

The ability to manage one's own emotional state, control emotions will make the individual more independent of the environment, free and confident. A person who controls his thoughts and emotions is a successful individual who easily achieves his goals.

After all, human feelings are just a reaction of the nervous system to the environment, and not always adequate. You can’t do without emotions at all, but they need to be properly “educated” and adequately developed.

How to control your thoughts, feelings, emotions - advice.

No need to idealize, and even more so, to deify feelings. Emotions should not be regarded as constant and irresistible.

The key to controlling emotional response and thought flow lies in awareness. With this, you need to start training to gain control over feelings and visual images. It is necessary to detach the manifestation of any emotions with the mind and be aware of this. For example, a person got angry and yelled at his subordinates, while he understood that he was angry again because of a trifle, but he could not control his own anger. The fact that the individual himself has realized the triviality of the cause that caused the violent reaction is the first step towards controlling emotions. Because the main thing is to realize it, even succumbing to negative manifestations. In addition, the person in the example took responsibility for the occurrence of anger on himself. He decided that he was angry because of a trifle, but he could put the blame on his subordinates. Also, this individual did not delve into the circumstances that provoked anger, but defined the feeling within the boundaries of the general phenomenon “I got angry over trifles.” This is an important aspect, since he depersonalized the emotion, depriving it of its individual coloring.

Thus, in order to manage your emotional reactions, you need to become aware of feelings, take responsibility for them and deprive them of "individuality".

How often does a person think about what he feels or talks about? Usually a person does not control these processes, considering them unimportant. But it is thoughts that form certain emotions that a person experiences. And feelings are already prompting him to focus on individual details, to make specific decisions, refusing the rest, and to do certain things, not allowing himself to do others.

The site of psychological help site claims that only a person who knows how to control his thoughts and feelings is able to build his life the way he wants. And the rest of the people will constantly become victims of their own mental and emotional manifestations, which actually control, if not control them.

Do you feel like you are not loved? Do you think that men should give flowers every day? Have you concluded that all women are stupid creatures? You see, what you think in your head is your responsibility. It may turn out that you are wrong, or it may be that you are right. Either way, your thoughts are your problems. If they are wrong, only you are to blame.

If someone says to you “I know that you are deceiving me”, and you are sure that you have never lied to this person, then keep silent or just say: “As you know!”. You cannot control the thoughts of the people around you. They can think whatever they want. These are their problems if they are mistaken in their thoughts, but they are adults, therefore they must understand that their conclusions and decisions must be reasoned, and not far-fetched, spontaneous, unreasonable. You are not responsible for what thoughts are in the minds of other people. Everyone is responsible for what he thinks.

Better not try to convince anyone. If you do not agree with someone's opinion, then you can express your point of view on a specific issue, but do it once. If they didn’t want to hear you (the person who is ready to hear your opinion hears it immediately; but if you expressed your opinion, and the interlocutor continues to insist on his point of view, then they simply didn’t hear you, because they didn’t want to do this), then there is no need to continue this conversation. The person decided to remain with his opinion, he has the right to do so. You know how things really are. As long as a person wants to believe in something, he will stand his ground, not hearing your thoughts. Do not try to prove anything to another person, just say your opinion once - whoever wants to hear you right away.

You are responsible for the thoughts, conclusions and decisions that occur in your head. If your conclusion turned out to be wrong or the decisions led to an unpleasant result, only you and no one else are to blame. You are responsible for what you think. If you think without sound arguments and facts, then this is only your problem.

How to control your thoughts?

Today, the topic of controlling one's own thoughts has become relevant. The reason for this was the theory that a person obeys his thoughts, which allows him to shape exactly the life that he scrolls in his head. The materialization of thoughts has become a panacea and a boom. Many people have wanted to learn to control their own thoughts. After all, if you just need to think correctly in order to live successfully and happily, then it is much easier to do this than to radically change yourself, make efforts and take actions.

During the day, more than 50 thousand different thoughts rush through a person’s head, which, for the most part, a person does not control and does not even notice. They seem to exist on their own. However, not all so simple. All people have different thoughts. What does it depend on?

  • From character.
  • From worldview.
  • From views and habitual conclusions.
  • From the stereotypes and patterns that people use.
  • From mood.
  • From desires and goals that were realized or not realized. etc.

Everyone's thoughts are different. And they are not always positively colored. Often a person remembers how he was offended. Someone gives in to emotions and immediately begins to wish misfortune to a neighbor. Sometimes a person burns with hatred and begins to dream about how some kind of misfortune happens to his enemy.

Thoughts, of course, materialize. But often those thoughts that rush through the head quickly, unconsciously, spontaneously and under the influence of strong emotions materialize. That is why a person needs to control his emotions, because often he is immersed in problems and troubles, rather than in something good.

Man is an amazing creature who does not want to suffer, live poorly and unhappily, but devotes almost his entire life to thinking about grief, misfortune and poverty. What do you most often remember from the past? Thinking about the future, how do you formulate your thought? For quite a long time, a person, remembering the past, experiences some unpleasant memories, tragedies and misfortunes. Thinking about the future, often a person formulates his thought like this: “I don’t want to be unhappy, poor and sick.” That is, a person knows what he does not want to have in his life, but what he needs and wants to have, he does not talk about it.

Of course, a person remembers the good and thinks about the pleasant. This is wonderful, because a person at the present moment is also experiencing happiness and joy. But if a person is depressed, despondent or lazy, then he often falls into thinking about unpleasant thoughts.

Thus, thoughts that are occupied with unpleasant experiences and painful memories often arise because the person is currently unhappy and unhappy. But when a person is currently experiencing joy and satisfaction, he thinks only about the good. This is the first idea.

The second idea is that a person who is already tired of suffering and living in sorrow continues his misfortunes with the thoughts that he ponders. “All people want to be happy,” you can hear all the time. “Really? - want to answer. “Then why do these people spend so much time remembering their hurts, disappointments, grief, and thinking about what they don’t want to have in their lives?” When a person really wants happiness for himself, he even controls his thoughts in order to remember only the good and dream about what he wants. And those people who would like to be happy are actually used to suffering. Moreover, they suffer not only because of what is happening to them today, but also because of what has already happened to them in the past and bad things may happen in the future.

Therefore, think about what you pay more attention to. After all, it is what you focus on that determines how you will live.

How to learn to control your thoughts and feelings?

Thoughts give rise to feelings, emotions make a person take actions, actions lead to consequences, which a person then remembers and again transforms into his thoughts, reappearing in his head in the future, when again it is necessary to make decisions and take actions. If a person does not control the process of his mental activity and the development of emotions, then he becomes their slave. They dictate what actions he should do, how to limit himself. What if a person thinks bad or unpleasant thoughts? Nothing good can be done under their influence.

How to learn to control your own thoughts and feelings?

  1. Accept the fact that you will not always be in control. This is a human flaw that should be accepted. If you do something without thinking, then don't beat yourself up too much about it.
  2. Recognize negative thoughts. They will always appear, because the world cannot give a person only joyful moments. Bad thoughts should be tracked and understood their nature, the cause of their occurrence. Then decide for yourself what to do with them: let them control you, weed out or put up with them.
  3. Treat life philosophically. Not a single person on Earth lives an exceptionally happy life. Everyone has problems. Everyone faces difficulties. This is all because the world will never exist according to the desires of man. It exists by its own rules. And if a person does not accept them or constantly resists them, then he encounters troubles and difficulties. Take all problems philosophically. Moreover, learn to relate to life much easier. Not everything happens the way you want it to – let it happen.
  4. Be content with as much as you need. Some teach you to be content with little. Others are sure that there is no need to limit yourself and it is better to take more. If we turn to nature, then she takes for herself exactly as much as she needs - no more and no less. This can be learned from her. Take only as much as you really need - that's where your happiness lies.
  5. Allow yourself to be imperfect. You do not have to know everything, be able to achieve everything. You are an ordinary earthly person who has limited opportunities, time and resources. You do as much as you can. If you can't do more, then you don't need to. Allow yourself to be just a person, not a superman who must know everything, be able to and achieve success.
  6. Live for today. The past has already passed - there is no need to remember it. The future has not yet arrived - you do not need to devote all your time to it. Let the past be the source of your experience and knowledge, and the future will indicate where you need to come. But live, act, experience emotions that correspond to your present day and current events.
  7. Get rid of claims. Desires make a person demand. And when requirements are not met, claims arise. This is where negative thoughts come in. However, the world does not have to match your desires. Other people don't have to dance to your tune. Desire but don't demand. Create conditions for your desires to be fulfilled, which is your measure of responsibility and does not require anything from other people and the world.

Practice daily to track your own thoughts. At first it will be difficult to recognize and even understand them. However, you will soon notice that you are considering in your head what color thoughts carry and what actions they encourage you to do, which you did not notice before.

By learning to notice what thoughts are rushing through your head, you will be able to manage them: which thoughts to leave, and which ones to say goodbye or transform into others.

Thought tracking will help:

  • Yoga.
  • Meditation.
  • Quiet stay.

How to control thoughts and emotions?

It is necessary to control your emotions and thoughts, but not always a person will be busy with just that. Plunging into life's problems, communicating with other people, getting into situations that suddenly collapse, a person is not busy controlling his thoughts and emotions. He needs to somehow respond to external circumstances and quickly fix problems.

  1. What kind of people to communicate with, as their thoughts, conclusions, emotions and habits are unconsciously transmitted to you.
  2. What situations to get into. If a situation is unpleasant for you, then try to leave it altogether, if possible.
  3. What results to achieve. After all, it is the ultimate goal that determines what actions need to be taken. And if you do what is necessary to achieve the desired goal, then you will not do what you want under the influence of emotions and unconscious thoughts.

Outcome

Thoughts really affect the kind of life a person lives. However, their control should be learned. Here you can even do auto-training and pronunciation of affirmations, when you program yourself (!) for the settings and thoughts you need, so that they turn on at the right time and interrupt those thoughts that previously prevented you from achieving success.
