One of the main topics was the issue of attracting hackers to the public service to strengthen the cyber borders of our Motherland. It has indeed become fashionable to talk about this recently (the Western trend of the 2000s has reached us), so more and more often representatives of the Federation Council, FSB and other departments are uttering the words “cybersecurity” and “white hat hackers”.

In particular, at PHDays we heard traditional calls to do good instead of breaking the law. However, all this will remain populism and will not get off the ground until hackers who appeal to reason understand a simple thing: it is not enough to come “to a hacker party” and invite them to work, saying, we understand you, come to us. This is pro-poor rhetoric. You need to be able to answer the question of these hackers in advance and clearly: why do they need this and who are all these people?

To understand what I mean, it is worth looking at examples from other countries.

British intelligence (MI6) a couple of years ago organized a competition similar to a hack quest, after completing which, information security specialists could apply for a cyber warrior vacancy in the UK. And now they have a section with vacancies on their website, just like on the website of any other company.

The NSA website has the same thing: detailed vacancies for computer scientists, including security, and even a calendar of events when it will be possible to communicate with representatives potential employer in his hometown.

What do we see here? We go to the FSB website. There is no "Vacancies" section. The website of Directorate "K" has the same story. I attended a speech by a representative of the FSB CIB, I might want to work for the state, where can I read the list of vacancies? Where to apply?

For some reason, our authorities cannot understand a simple thing: working for the state should be the same as working for any other company. With some advantages (most likely social) and some disadvantages (competitive, but perhaps not the highest salary). And people should get there by going to the website and filling out an application, and not through the Ministry of Internal Affairs schools, “personal recruiting” and other non-obvious processes.

Nobody makes any secret about recruiting at the NSA/SIS in general and in the cyber military branches in particular. Because there is absolutely nothing to hide in this fact. As part of your job duties, of course, you can come across classified information, but these are completely different processes.

In order for hackers and security specialists to come to work for them, the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs must first of all look like normal employers, and not some strange institutions that sometimes come to hackers and tell them something. If you can't look human, there's no point in speaking at conferences.

Between a magician and a group of people.

The specifics and tactics of magical combat always depend. from the number of its participants. Moreover, some methods and techniques that are perfect, say, for a fight between two magicians, will be absolutely meaningless for a fight between a magician and a group of people.

Although, after some time, you may feel it in your own skin. If, of course, you decide to watch the duel between two magicians. But if suddenly a duel of magicians bursts into reality, then... Tornadoes and hurricanes, floods and sudden avalanches should not always be considered as physical phenomena - natural disasters. Sometimes such things happen due to the fault of warring magicians, but people don’t even know about it. In most cases, the winner is the one whose tricks and will are stronger. So, the rules of magical combat...
Here he is - the enemy, he uses ball lightning against you. Yes, their nature has not yet been officially studied, but initiates have long known that even the tiniest ball lightning can be created only by the will of a battle mage. Ball lightning does not appear out of nowhere, much less be born by itself! In cases of fireball lightning, you should immediately defend yourself using a magic mirror shield. That is, protection based on a force field, which experts call the “wrong side” - the mirror shield acts on ball lightning as if from the inside. In a matter of seconds, you need to properly relax, focus on the enemy and create a kind of cocoon, consisting entirely of fragments of a large magic mirror. These pieces must not be forgotten to be positioned relative to the ball lightning at a certain angle. In this case, the attack will be reflected on the enemy himself. And this is already more than half the success in the battle. If the enemy does not react in time, he will probably receive multiple piercing wounds. If unsuccessful, you need to immediately change the angle of the mirrors relative to the enemy. The main thing is not to forget about anticipating the subsequent actions of your enemy. In cases where the enemy destroys the mirror shield, you should not hesitate to raise a storm or hurricane by using a wind spell. And then the enemy will be cut up with pieces of the mirror shield. By the way, in the process of using this kind of spell, the magician seems to be inside force field, in which almost all objects that fall within the reach of the spell are detained.
The force – or magic, as you like – field can be configured using the following methods:
the magician has the power to change the size of such a field;
the magician has the power to leave any objects in the area of ​​influence of the field or throw them into other areas;
if necessary, the magician has the power to surround himself with an impenetrable cocoon or use either side of the mirror shield for protection.
Here you should remember very important rule: spells, no matter how strong or weak they are, always take away the magician’s strength and magical energy, so you need to use both only when necessary and extremely wisely.
The most effective way to fight is to use a combination of spells. For example, we can cite the already well-known mirror shield spell and the spell of sucking magical energy from the enemy. By the way, a very strong opponent often does not fight himself. He usually uses two methods of conducting magical combat:
creates some mystical or biblical monster;
uses some - preferably never seen before - artifact with some amazing filling. The most experienced magician, using the methods mentioned, quietly vegetates somewhere on the sidelines, looking sideways at the progress of the battle. The case when the enemy uses a magical artifact is curious in that the magician resists the effects of the artifact’s power on him and, in the process, wastes magical energy.
Let's return to the method mentioned a few lines above, when a magic mirror shield and a spell to suck out magical energy are used in battle. But in any case you will have to act:

We install a mirror shield directly in front of us, in some cases we wrap ourselves in a mirror cocoon. We use the spell to suck out magical energy almost immediately after installing the shield after the enemy creates a monster. If everything goes exactly like this, then as long as the mirror shield is displayed, the magician will be able to restore the wasted forces received from the monster destroyed by the corresponding spell. But you need to remember, as an axiom: the spell of sucking magical energy affects anyone, but not the magician himself. This happens because by definition there are no stupid magicians, and smart ones immediately use a counter spell after such attacks. Now let's pay attention to the next version of the battle, when the magician fights with a group of people. For the first time, this technique was used by soldiers of the NKVD OSNAZ when conducting sabotage operations abroad.
There are enemies in front of the magician - several people, possibly armed with bladed weapons or firearms. In this case, the magician cannot hesitate. In a matter of seconds, he must concentrate, fold his hands in front of him - no higher than the level of the solar plexus, always with palms facing each other - fingers pointing straight up. As soon as there is an accumulation of magical fire between the palms, the magician should immediately turn his palms towards the enemy with a very sharp movement. And the magical - or, as it is also called, witchcraft - fire will disperse like a fan. There is no weapon that can withstand its effects. But magicians, although not often, still sometimes have to join forces. After all, in the event of a mutual threat, there will always be something in common between sworn enemies. An excellent example of this is the combined efforts of Soviet and English magicians... In 1940, England was faced with a more than serious threat of a large fascist German landing force with the subsequent occupation of coastal territories. Only a narrow circle of initiates knows that there was a secret agreement between Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill and Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin, according to which two employees of the thirteenth department of the NKVD arrived in England on July 31, 1940, on a direct flight from Moscow. Both are excellent servants and even more excellent battle mages, having passed the test of strength during civil war in Spain: from 1936 until 1938, Russian battle magicians fought against the cunning and too bloodthirsty sorcerers of General Franco. The very next day after arrival - August 1 - magicians serving for the British army intelligence, the best of the local and most hereditary witches and sorcerers and battle magicians of the NKVD gathered in the town of Newforest. For combat between several magicians and a group of people, territory is considered an important factor. Usually the battle mage chooses it in such a way that the enemy, due to the terrain, is most vulnerable to attack. In this case, the magician has to pay a minimum of his attention to the weapon. Positions are no less advantageous for a magician. They must be such that the entire battlefield is clearly visible. As they say: “...and let no one go unnoticed!” But tactics in a battle with several people depend on a number of factors. Including the situation that develops both before and during the battle.
Magicians welcome the combination of several energy flows into one. But, as a rule, they are controlled by the most powerful battle mage. The rest choose their opponents based on their strengths and capabilities. The motto in battles is usually the expression: life energy is not limitless! Based on this motto, it should be remembered that during a battle one should not abuse the use of the energy of the most powerful sorcerer. Otherwise, he may simply die - sometimes immortal magicians die too! However, even if too much energy is sucked out of the most powerful magician, it can always be restored by giving, for example, part of your energy.
Any battle means the death of not only magicians, but also living and inanimate matter. Even after several years after magical battles, an increased magical energy background remains in the places where they took place. Such places are called cursed, and sometimes – valleys of death. To prevent possible consequences Battle mages are advised not to waste energy, but to make do with only a small amount of it - even if the battle is too difficult and bloody. Sometimes it is easier and better to create a small mirror shield, from which almost all objects and enemy spells will ricochet, than to make a powerful, but very large magic shield that burns almost all energy.
It's not the gods who burn the pots
For many, God is an immortal living or inanimate substance, ruler of the world and people. And for magicians, God is immortal... as long as he is not deprived of energy. A logical conclusion follows from this statement: if desired, you can destroy or, under certain circumstances, lure any divine creature to your side. Description of specific methods of destroying and luring gods:
destroy divine energy You can either bring order or bring chaos to the fore; one or the other will absorb any energy in any case;
Divine energy can be destroyed with a clot of greater energy, for this the magician needs a strong concentration on his own strength (various artifacts can be used) followed by delivering a powerful blow to any divine creature, which in this case will either die or go over to the side magician;
it is possible to destroy divine energy without resorting to drastic measures - in this case, God is placed in an artificially created cocoon (a plasma cocoon is considered to be on top), while preserving all the divine energy - just remember the imprisonment of Jinns in bottles;
You can destroy divine energy using the opposite energy - it’s like a magnet, plus is always attracted to minus, and vice versa;
some gods live only thanks to external energy, it is easier to destroy them or lure them to their side by depriving them of the opportunity to feed on it - usually a highly concentrated blow is applied to the energy channels (various artifacts can be used), thanks to which any deity is deprived of the opportunity to exist further.

Chelakhov came to the council to discuss the group’s performance in Novorossiysk. The Cossacks demanded that the concert be canceled - they accused the group of mocking their traditions. Artists of “Marusya” perform folk songs in traditional Cossack outfits, although they do not have the right to do so, according to the atamans of the Novorossiysk region.

Kuban Cossacks often become heroes scandalous stories. Shortly before the “Marusya” story, Cossacks from Anapa distinguished themselves by meeting opposition leader Alexei Navalny with his supporters from the Anti-Corruption Foundation at the local airport. Activists were doused with milk and a fight ensued.

The police standing nearby did not try to interfere with the Cossacks, said Navalny’s press secretary Kira Yarmysh.

The Kuban Cossacks are responsible for several other incidents - the cancellation of Marat Gelman's exhibition in 2012, the attack on the American group Bloodhound Gang in 2013, the beating of members of the Russian punk group Pussy Riot in 2014.

In the cases of Pussy Riot and Navalny, the Cossacks somehow knew ahead of time when and where their “victims” would appear.

“Where did they get information about Navalny’s departure from Anapa? He could fly from Krasnodar, from Gelendzhik. Naturally, this information was leaked. Both about entry and exit, this is unambiguous,” says Vladislav Gryaznov, a member of the regional council of Krasnodar Yabloko. In his opinion, the Cossacks perform “shadow tasks” that the police cannot perform by law.

Spell - powerful weapon for close and ranged combat, but you should always remember that an experienced enemy probably has a more sophisticated spell in reserve; for this reason, a battle mage is simply obliged to be fluent in any melee or firearm.

During defense, we must not forget that time during a battle is the main factor in victory. Therefore, good battle magicians do not spend too much time thinking about how and what to do. They just act. Good method fighting is considered to be the creation of mental images. When it is created, the spell appears as if by itself. However, good magicians die even under such conditions. Reasons for the death of superbly trained magicians:

Time is needed in any case, and a bullet can’t wait too long.

Energy - it is short-lived and its effect is somewhat limited, so battle magicians always keep with them time-tested amulets that absorb the energy of the surrounding world on their own.

Sources of strength - they are somehow exhaustible; in the absence of a source of power, the death of a magician can occur almost instantly.

Restoration of strength - it is required every time after a magician carries out an attack; at such moments, even an experienced battle magician can find himself completely defenseless even against a beginner.

There are many insignificant enemies - when fighting them, the magician often spends almost all his strength, and therefore becomes vulnerable to the enemy.

The magician must be able to cope with situations where serious losses of energy occur:

Using magical weapons - these objects (dagger, sword or staff) can destroy even very strong spells, and the magician does not spend his magical energy forever.

Hanging spells - a method based on the temporary preservation of one’s own spells, which can be used at the most convenient moment of the battle.

The use of talismans and amulets - the method is based on the so-called accumulators of magical energy, in which, among other things, protective spells are concentrated.

Retreat - to defeat the enemy, sometimes you have to give up your positions; the mage’s survival is not the last thing in any battle, and it will always be possible to attack the enemy with renewed vigor.

When spells don't work

Sometimes it happens that magic does not work on enemies. In order to understand the essence of the problem, you must first understand the reasons that caused it:

The spells were influenced by the magic of another world. Only magicians are sure that many worlds can exist on the same territory. Each of these worlds is unique in its own way. And therefore, the spells of one world may quite reasonably not work in another world. The same problem can be considered on another plane - we must not forget about creatures from another world who appeared in this world by chance or at the will of the enemy. The fact is that they will only be affected by the spells of the world from which they came.

Lack of magical energy where the battle takes place. In this context, magic may simply be absent or exist in negligible quantities. And they may simply not be enough to cast one or another spell.

The inertia of the magic of this particular place. Sometimes it happens that energetically a place should contribute to fighting. But in fact, quite tangible energy is absolutely inert for use for combat purposes. An example would be carrying water in a sieve. There seems to be water, but at the same time there is none.

P Destruction of even very strong spells by nature itself. This phenomenon can only be explained by the presence of chaos in a particular territory. And chaos can destroy not only spells.

Spell absorption. It happens that in some area the spell seems to be absorbed by the place itself. This is most likely due to the fact that this place is endowed with the same properties as vampires.

Although a magician is not entirely human, he is often exactly human... when he is not using magic. At such moments, you can do whatever you want with any magician.

Review from a magician of magical powers. Sometimes even an experienced magician, for one reason or another, is deprived of his main advantage over mere mortals - the ability to cast spells. Of course, he never forgets how to use his secret knowledge. But until a certain time, any of his actions turn into nothing. A magician who is higher on the hierarchical ladder, or some powerful artifact, can take away knowledge. As soon as the paranormal abilities evaporate from such a magician, he can be killed in the same way as the most ordinary person.

The power of spells is extinguished by simple human love. In moments of intense love, even the most sophisticated spells lose their power, and artifacts and amulets cease to fulfill their original properties.

Resolving issues related to spell inactivity:

If a magician is attacked, he can transport the enemy to another world using a portal spell.

He can also lure the enemy into a visible, or even better, camouflaged trap. Very good traps those whose walls have blocking properties are considered. In addition, you can use so-called anti-magic snares - these are something like the most ordinary networks, only all the threads of which have repulsive magical properties.

The inaction of spells can sometimes be associated with the casting of special spells on the sorcerer. In such cases, it is recommended: a) to remove the spells yourself, b) to visit the so-called enchanted places, where almost any witchcraft shackles are removed, and the magician, after such cleansing, returns to the level at which he was before the spell was cast.

If the spells of this world stop working, then you can use the spells of one of parallel worlds or even creatures that came into our space from some other world. Any energy from another world is called pure force. It is very simple to use: just remember the game of snowballs - the magician sculpts the likeness of snowballs from pure force and throws them at his enemies.

Sometimes so-called witchcraft nerve agents are used against magicians: potions, dead spells, etc. You need to be especially careful with female battle magicians. They are more cunning and resourceful. They have excellent command of illusory magic and can resort to any means to achieve victory. It can be very difficult to escape from nerve agents.

Recalls from magicians of magical powers are extremely rare. In almost all cases, such selection is carried out only among those magicians who have abused their official position or who have committed some serious crimes. Let us at least remember the magicians who once worked in some of the security departments of the Third Reich. After the Nuremberg trials, almost none of them could continue their magical research. But revoking powers from powerful magicians requires special precautions. Moreover, ordinary witchcraft techniques often simply do not work on combat magicians. Therefore, during special operations, at least domestic battle magicians always have additional edged weapons or firearms with them. In addition, all initiates are fluent in the techniques hand-to-hand combat. The famous Bruce Lee was once considered one of the initiates. Long before his triumph in the cinema, he was already in the service of the British intelligence service Mi-6. By the way, Bruce Lee also took part in some special operations carried out in eastern countries. But after some time, Bruce Lee was eliminated using the most sophisticated method... An old man gained confidence in him. He delivered several fatal blows, which worked after the old man had already gone cold.

Travel to other worlds

Let's list the ways to travel to other worlds:

Visual travel is made using special spells and magic mirrors located in the real and some other world;

Astral travel is carried out not in the physical, but in the mental plane, while the magician can even visit those worlds into which he cannot sleep while in his bodily shell;

Physical travel occurs when the soul and physical shell of the magician are one. Traveling to other worlds through portals is unsafe. The main thing is that the enemy can easily detect such a transition due to the fact that a large surge of energy occurs during the transition. And the enemy, if desired, can easily close the end point of the journey or move the magician to a place completely different from where he wanted to end up after moving.

Astral travel is also not safe. During such movements, the first thing that becomes vulnerable is the physical shell: the enemy can easily destroy it. And blocking the exit of the shell from another world to the real one will not be difficult for a well-prepared enemy. So when moving you need to take both factors into account.

Creating duplicates (doubles)

Battle mages can create doubles. More often, doubles help battle magicians mislead the enemy - to evade pursuit or in cases where the magician is conducting surveillance. It is more correct to call doubles phantoms. They are created using spells and are phantoms exact copies originals - at the energy level.

The original for creating a double can be any Living being. Only the copy, in turn, never exceeds the size of the original. Phantoms are comparable to holographic copies of living and non-living objects. A living phantom is capable of exactly repeating the behavior of the original. But this is only an appearance, because inside the phantom there is nothing but air. In other words, a double/copy/phantom is just an energy shell that was born and exists only at the will of the magician. The number of doubles depends on the abilities of the magician, as well as on the circumstances under which the double was created. As a rule, the number of phantoms does not exceed ten.

Phantoms can exist independently of the original - magicians create such duplicates for senior statesmen. A simple example: the presidential motorcade should, in theory, move along some specific route, but the intelligence services completely accidentally learn about an impending assassination attempt on an official who is in one of the cars - a battle magician immediately comes to the rescue. Just a few minutes pass - and the president's double is driving in a car along the route that the terrorists are aware of. And at the same time, the real president makes his way to the final destination of the journey through a roundabout route. This technology has been successfully used for more than sixty years, and has never failed.

Immediately after the magician stops feeding the double, it immediately disappears. But sometimes phantoms get out of control. In such cases, they eventually turn into ghosts. Based on this statement, one involuntarily comes to the conclusion that battle magic has always existed - well, at least since the very time when a ghost was first mentioned. Usually, phantoms reborn as ghosts live in strictly limited territories and almost never leave their borders. And the energy supply of ghosts already comes from the habitats of phantoms that have gotten out of control.

Distinguishing an original from a duplicate is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. The double is lighter than air, the grass under it does not bend, and it does not leave traces. But if, for example, you scatter flour on the floor, the double will still leave its traces. It can pass through any obstacles and emits neither heat nor cold. Phantoms are not dangerous. But in battle they pose a real threat. Just imagine that instead of one, two, three or four special forces companies suddenly appeared in front of you. Here you can’t help but think: which of the soldiers is real and which is not? A phantom can only be destroyed by a battle mage, but not only by its creator.

Ways to destroy doubles:

An energy shock that destroys the outer shell of the twin;

Destruction of a double by the creator means the end of energy replenishment;

Hitting with a counterspell. Shoot the phantom from firearms- an empty matter, but such a creature can still die from a spell or artifact.

How to split consciousness

Surely many are familiar with the expression: “My second “I””... Not everyone, of course, but some magicians are able to divide their own consciousness into two parts. And any of these parts - which to an outside observer seems completely absurd! - at any given time will be perfectly aware of what the other is doing. This ability should not be confused with the so-called split personality, although forced splitting of consciousness does strongly resemble the mentioned psychological anomaly. The fact is that with a split, both personalities do not know about each other’s existence. But when consciousness is split, both of them are controlled by a magician. He can, if necessary, connect any of them, and, if desired, combine them. Battle magicians often resort to consciousness splitting techniques in cases of failure, torture, and similar troubles. And only the transition of consciousness to another person can save a battle mage from death.

The technology of splitting consciousness is a rather complex procedure. But at first, minimal knowledge is enough. At the most difficult moment, the magician splits consciousness - forcibly divides the real personality into two. From this moment on, one becomes the main one - the person who is, for example, in the torture chamber... the will is broken, the gaze is downcast. The enemies are already rubbing their hands and preparing to write down secret information from the words of the broken magician. But at the same time, a second personality is connected. She goes completely unnoticed into the shadows, completely controlled by the will of the magician. But at any moment everything can return to normal. Actually, little depends on spells and magic here. Only the will is capable of splitting or reuniting the magician's consciousness - such techniques are more often considered innate.

Magic camouflage

Camouflage in magic is not a rule, but a necessity. Therefore, almost all battle magicians know about camouflage techniques. Camouflage methods:

Hiding in hard-to-reach places and areas;

Hiding in unknown places and areas;

Moving the hidden object to the most visible place;

Dividing the hidden object into parts;

Making an object invisible.

There is no need to hope that the enemy will not penetrate into the most inaccessible place. So, when using the first method of magical camouflage, it is recommended to cast additional spells on the places where the object is hidden. Otherwise, the enemy can get this object without making any significant efforts.

Things are a little better with unknown places than with those that are simply hard to reach. The fact is that such places are often considered cursed. And if any object is searched for ordinary people, then this technique is quite suitable. After all, even a person with strong nerves and biceps is also afraid of something. And it’s not even a battle mage who can instill fear. But if a magician is already looking for the object, then an additional spell must be cast in place of hiding anything. In addition, the subject of the search itself can also be enchanted and, in this form, displayed in the most prominent places. But it’s still better to use copies of search items.

Transferring the objects of search to other worlds... The main thing here is to choose the right world - one and only one from a host of worlds - and do not forget that it should be as little visited as possible. The subject of the search is thrown through the portal, hides, the magician remembers the exact coordinates of the hiding place and only then returns to real world. In order to pick up an item, the magician will have to:

Create a small portal in any convenient place;

Project object coordinates;

Pick up the item.

Dividing the hidden object into parts is a very ancient method of magical camouflage. And the main thing here is time...
