30. The following have the right to admission without entrance examinations:

31. 34. Winners and prize-winners of Olympiads (I, II and III levels), included in the lists of Olympiads for schoolchildren for the 2015/16 academic year, 2016/17 academic year, 2017/18 academic year, 2018/19 academic year, approved by orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, are equal to persons who have scored maximum amount Unified State Examination points (100 points) only in a general education subject (mathematics, Russian language, literature) corresponding to the profile of the school Olympiad, if the results of the winner (prize-winner) were obtained for the 10th, 11th grades of the general education program, or for persons who have successfully passed additional entrance examinations tests of creative and (or) professional orientation of the relevant profile, provided for in parts 7 and 8 of Article 70 of Federal Law No. 273-FZ (hereinafter referred to as the right to 100 points) (Appendix to the Admission Rules No. 4).

FEATURES OF ENTRANCE TESTS FOR CITIZENS WITH LIMITED HEALTH CAPABILITIES AND DISABLED PEOPLE

USAA ensures that admission tests are conducted for applicants from among persons with disabilities and (or) disabled people, taking into account the characteristics of their psychophysical development, their individual capabilities and health status (hereinafter referred to as individual characteristics).

RULES FOR SUBMISSION AND CONSIDERATION OF APPEALS

Based on the results of the admissions test conducted by the USAU, the applicant (trusted representative) has the right to file an appeal with the appeal commission about a violation, in the applicant’s opinion, of the established procedure for conducting the admissions test and (or) about disagreement with the received assessment of the admissions test results.

The appeal is submitted personally by the applicant (trusted representative) to the admissions committee of the Ural State Academy of Arts and Sciences on the day the results of the entrance test are announced or during the next working day. An appeal about a violation of the established procedure for conducting an admissions test can also be filed on the day of the admissions test.

Consideration of the appeal is not a retake of the entrance test. During the consideration of the appeal, compliance with the established procedure for conducting the admissions test and (or) the correctness of the assessment of the results of the admissions test is checked.

The appeal is considered no later than the next working day after the day it was filed.

The applicant (trustee) has the right to be present during the consideration of the appeal. One of the parents or legal representatives has the right to be present with a minor applicant (under 18 years of age), except for minors recognized in accordance with the law as fully capable before reaching adulthood.

After considering the appeal, the appeal commission decides to change the assessment of the entrance test results or leave the specified assessment unchanged.

The decision of the appeal commission, documented in the protocol, is brought to the attention of the applicant (authorized representative). The Academy dates back to 1947, when Professor K.T.Babykin organized the graduating department of architecture at the Ural Industrial Institute (now USTU-UPI). In 1967 the department was transformed into Ural branch Moscow Architectural Institute, on the basis of which the Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute was created in 1972.

The first rector and founder of the institute was Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Arts, People's Architect of the USSR, Professor, Doctor of Architecture N.S. Alferov.

Since 1996, the institute received state academy status.

Currently, the Academy is the largest university of this profile in Russia, the only one in the Ural Federal District. Over 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students study there. The number of applicants annually is 550 people. Scientific and teaching activities are carried out by a qualified staff of teachers numbering over 250 people. Among them are 25 professors, doctors of science, more than 100 candidates of science, associate professors, 3 members state academies sciences, 3 laureates of State Prizes, more than 100 members of the creative Unions of architects, designers and artists, 15 Honored Architects, artists, cultural figures of Russia.

The Academy has 5 faculties: Pre-university training, Architecture, Design, Advanced training and accelerated training, Part-time (evening) training; 2 institutes: Institute of Urbanism and Institute of Fine Arts; 3 branches: Institute of Design in Tyumen, Institute of Design and applied arts in Khanty-Mansiysk, Architectural Institute in Nizhny Tagil. The Academy successfully operates postgraduate studies, doctoral studies, and a specialized Council for the defense of dissertations.

The Academy provides multi-level training of specialists in the areas of “Architecture” and “Design” with training periods according to educational programs Bachelor of Architecture - 4.5 years, Bachelor of Design - 4 years, Master of Architecture - 2.5 years and Master of Design - 2 years. For fine arts majors, there is end-to-end training with a training period of 6 years.

The Academy has the largest library on architecture and art in the city - 80 thousand volumes, a unique Museum of the history of architecture and industrial technology of the Urals in the city's Historical Park, a sports complex with an area of ​​1773 m2, a sports base on Lake Shartash, 2 dormitories with 600 places, a complex Catering"Master and Margarita".

The total area of ​​the training and laboratory base is over 30 thousand m2. The Academy has its own publishing house “Architecton”, the inter-university magazine “Architecton”, and the student newspaper “Archipelago”.
