The same picture was observed during the baptism of Rus. The people did not accept the introduced Julian calendar. But the Christians found a way out of this situation: they came up with Slavic names for the Julian calendar - and instead of numbers in Latin, they got Slavic names: Berezen, Kviten, Grass, Cherven, Linden, Serpen, Veresen, Zhovten, Leaf fall, Breast, Sichen, Lyutii.
