It's good to have variety and choice. The main payment systems I work with are WebMoney and Yandex.Money.

WebMoney is a classic. I appreciate the system for practicality, security, multi-currency. Yandex.Money is a service that is perfect for ruble transactions.

That's all. Share in the comments what wallets you use.

Online wallet is your virtual account for use on the Internet. That is, on the service of the payment system, you are provided with your account as in a bank. Only in the bank there is at least some kind of percentage, but here, as a rule, the percentage is removed from you for transfers, payment for services. Such accounts are intended for payment and receipt of money. The main advantage of electronic money is the instant payment for the services you need.

Let's look at what electronic money is for. With the help of virtual currency, you can pay for purchases in online stores, pay for Internet services provided by the provider, utility bills. People who want to make money on the Internet cannot do without an electronic account.

There are a lot of services that provide you with the opportunity to create your own wallet. All of them are basically similar to each other, but each has its own advantages and disadvantages over other payment systems. One payment system is beneficial when paying for services and goods on the Internet, the other has an advantage when withdrawing funds to your card, that is, a banal cashing out. If you are planning, then you will need more than one wallet.

Ask your questions in the comments. All the best to you.

The question of which electronic wallet is better to start for withdrawing money to a card arises for everyone who is faced with cashing out. Endless commissions for replenishment and transfers eat up part of your hard-earned funds. But choosing a service on the principle of “where it is cheaper” is also not worth it. Consider popular sites according to three criteria:

  • simplicity of the interface and accessibility;
  • liquidity (the ability to instantly exchange for cash or some asset);
  • security.

We do not disregard regional peculiarities. Each country has its own national systems. However, the times of the "cold curtain" are in the past. Therefore, from all the options, we choose only universal ones.

  • QIWI Wallet– is distinguished by an abundance of payment terminals and ease of use;
  • webmoney– the safest platform with a large selection of currencies;
  • Yandex money- a plastic card is sent to any country, there is no commission for non-cash payments;
  • AdvCash– provides profitable domestic transfers;
  • Visa– ease of registration and compatibility with all terminals;
  • payeer– popular all over the world for working without identity verification.

Of the six platforms common in the Russian Federation, Qiwi has the lowest fees and the most user-friendly interface. But WebMoney guarantees the best protection against fraud. The accounts of both payment systems are linked. This makes the tandem convenient and economical.

In Belarus, virtual services appeared relatively recently. Among them, the most popular are the following:

  • webmoney– as in Russia, the site takes first place due to its multicurrency;
  • Yandex money– a plastic card is active in almost all payment terminals;
  • Belqi- works on the basis of QIWI, therefore all operations are similar;
  • EasyPay is one of the first services.

Yandex Money proved to be the most convenient. You can pay with an internal card in any store with a terminal. Cash withdrawals are also available, but the fees leave much to be desired. Easy Pay is convenient when paying through the "Settlement" system. With WebMoney, it is easy to pay by ERIP and withdraw funds to a bank account (although the commission sometimes reaches 8%). An indisputable advantage is multicurrency.

Now the country has a ban on the work of some Russian services. Therefore, they can only be used to bypass blocking, which is not entirely legal.

  • webmoney– the best choice for freelancers;
  • PayPal– used to pay for purchases abroad;
  • UkrMoney– cooperates with PrivatBank, supports different currencies;
  • Liqpay– convenient payment acceptance, cooperates with most large companies in Ukraine, Europe and America;
  • iPay.ua - instantly transfers funds to anywhere in the world;
  • payoneer- beneficial for remote workers who work with foreign customers.

The last system hit the trends in Ukraine in 2018. It allows you to quickly and safely receive money from anywhere in the world. It has a minimum commission. But if payment comes only from clients from the CIS countries, the good old WebMoney turns out to be the most convenient (it’s much easier to cash out rubles this way).

  1. Kiwi it is most profitable to cash out large amounts and transfer funds within the system.
  2. Yandex convenient for paying for goods and services at the terminal.
  3. WebMoney saves only on transactions with foreign currency.

Card withdrawal

For clarity, consider how to transfer money from an electronic wallet to a Sberbank card.

The mechanism is similar for all online services:

  1. We enter your personal account through e-mail or social networks.
  2. Click the "translate" tab (the name may vary slightly).
  3. We choose the method "to the bank card".
  4. Specify the card number and amount.
  5. We confirm the operation using an SMS code (E-NUM for Webmoney).

The main difference between different platforms is the amount of commission when transferring funds to accounts of third-party banks:

  • QIWI - 2% + 50 rubles;
  • WebMoney - 2.5% + 40 rubles. - additional conversion fees may apply;
  • Yandex Money - 3% + 45 rubles.

I hope my reviews and arguments help to decide which e-wallet is better to have for use in Russia, Belarus and the CIS countries. And the main thing is to take into account regional peculiarities.

After all, flexibility in accepting payments is one of the most important qualities of a successful freelancer. Therefore, I recommend registering all three payment systems and using them according to the following scheme:

  1. Link WebMoney to Qiwi.
  2. To make plastic cards for QIWI and Yandex Money.

So you get the opportunity to accept any payments and freely transfer funds between accounts. In this case, the losses are minimal. You pay with Yandex in stores, and withdraw cash from Qiwi.

However, it's up to you to decide. Personally, I have been using Webmoney (mainly because of its multicurrency) for more than 6 years to work with customers from Russia and Belarus.

Let all your financial transactions be profitable and safe!

Just some 10 years ago, the concept of electronic money was little known to the inhabitants of Russia. On the territory of the country, only the WebMoney payment system and Yandex.Money were gradually entering the market. Today, there are so many payment systems available to Russians that it's time to get confused. For novice network users, the question often arises as to which electronic wallet is better to choose. Our article will help you figure it out.

What to consider when choosing a wallet

First of all, when choosing where to start an electronic wallet, you should decide on the purpose of this event. Roughly formulated, there can be three goals:

  • receive money in the wallet;
  • spend money from the wallet;
  • receive and spend money.

First, let's deal with the second point. Many people create an account in an electronic payment system in order to make purchases in online stores, but do not show their bank card details. If for some reason a virtual card from your bank is inconvenient for you, this is a completely reasonable way out. In this case, you should evaluate such properties of each of the wallets as:

  • prevalence of the payment system;
  • the ability to pay in your usual online stores;
  • ways to replenish the wallet;
  • replenishment fees.

For example, Aliexpress, which is popular today, accepts payment through the Yandex.Money system, while on eBay you can only pay with a PayPal account, this site does not accept either WebMoney or Yandex.Money. Therefore, for regular users of this auction, these wallets will be absolutely useless.

The next option is you want to start a wallet to receive money. For example, to transfer you wages from the employer (relevant for freelancers), make payments for purchases (for those who earn from craft activities) or collect donations. Here, oddly enough, you will have to focus primarily on the preferences of those who will transfer funds to you. Should be assessed:

  • the number of ways to replenish the wallet;
  • the possibility of replenishment from a bank card;
  • the presence of a commission for replenishing the account;
  • degree of prevalence of the payment system.

For example, if you plan to sell your products only to buyers from Russia, you can pay attention only to payment systems that are popular in our country. If you want to enter the global market for handmade / freelancing, etc., you should find out which payment methods are most popular in the region of your interest. For settlements with America and European countries, PayPal is best suited. It is more familiar to foreign residents, and it also provides protection for the buyer. And, of course, you should analyze the possibility of withdrawing funds from the system, their cost and range.

Tip: When working with one or two employers, choose the wallet that will suit their interests. Also, when working on services that allow you to earn money through the network, choose the payment system with which these services cooperate.

Electronic wallet instead of a bank card

Consider the last option - if you plan to use an online wallet as an alternative to a regular wallet. That is, not just withdraw the funds received into it to a bank card, but pay for basic needs directly with his participation. It's worth finding out here:

  • what features are built into the payment system;
  • what is the amount of spending limits;
  • whether the system can provide a physical means of wallet management;
  • How can I cash out and how much does it cost?

For example, using WebMoney and Yandex.Money, you can easily pay not only for mobile communications, but also utilities, taxes and fines, Internet and television, and many other bills. But the Qiwi payment system provides its users with a plastic card linked to the wallet, with which you can make purchases in offline stores. However, Yandex also has such a service.

In a word, before making the final choice, carefully analyze your capabilities, needs and plans for a payment service. The wrong wallet can not only add inconvenience to everyday life, but also lead to financial losses due to the large amount of commissions for transactions or the outflow of customers / employers who will not be comfortable using it as a means of payment. And having formulated a list of requirements, you can take on the study of the proposals of payment systems. We will talk about the most popular of them.

The most popular wallets in Russia

To date, the following electronic payment systems are the most common in our country:

  • WebMoney;
  • Yandex money;
  • qiwi;
  • PayPal.

Each of them, in addition to a large number of ways to replenish the wallet and withdraw funds, has a Russian customer support service. This can help in case of difficulties both in the process of creating an account in the payment system, and in the course of its use. Let's talk about the main features of each of the wallets.

Payment system WebMoney

For a long time, those who needed a wallet to work via the Internet could only use an account in the Webamni system. This company was one of the first, if not the very first, to provide electronic money services in the Russian Federation. Over the years, the payment system has acquired a solid infrastructure. Today, with her wallet, you can:

  • make purchases in most online stores;
  • pay bills and receipts (including fines and taxes);
  • pay for Internet services, cellular communications, satellite TV, etc.;
  • make transfers around the world.

The undoubted advantage of WebMoney is its multicurrency. You can link several wallets to one account, each of which will be designed for its own currency. In the Russian Federation, ruble and dollar wallets are most often in demand. In total, the system provides 10 types of currency, among which are not only euros and Belarusian rubles, but also the recently popular bitcoin. You can replenish your wallet in different ways:

  • from a bank card - through an ATM or an Internet bank, depending on the issuer;
  • from a bank account;
  • from another electronic wallet (including those not belonging to the system);
  • from mobile phone balance;
  • postal transfer;
  • in cash - through terminals.

Important! The terms for crediting funds and commissions for replenishment will depend on the type of wallet.

WebMoney signed a cooperation agreement with some banks. For example, transactions between any of the system's wallets and Alfa-Bank's card/account will be performed instantly and will cost the user only 1% of the transferred amount. For comparison, when replenishing a wallet from a bank card that is not included in the list of system partners, in the amount of up to 2800 rubles, you will be charged a commission of 50 rubles, plus bank fees.

Payment system Yandex.Money

If you search the Internet for the answer to the question of which e-wallet is better to have in Russia, user reviews will most often recommend Yandex.Money. This system has been operating in our country since the mid-90s, and has also managed to acquire a wide infrastructure. Wallets in it can only be created in rubles. And largely due to this, working with the system is simple and intuitive.

Any system user who has registered a wallet can receive funds. But in order to make transfers, pay bills or withdraw money from the system, you will need to go through identification. There are several ways to do this:

  • using Sberbank Mobile Bank;
  • by transferring funds to the wallet account through the Euroset, Svyaznoy salons or the Contact system;
  • by sending an application and notarized copies of personal documents to the address of the payment system.

Important! The identification procedure is paid, its cost depends on the chosen method.

Having passed the identification, the owner of the wallet gets the opportunity with his help:

  • pay for purchases on the Internet;
  • pay taxes and make other contributions to the budget;
  • pay for utilities, use of cellular communications, the Internet, etc.;
  • make money transfers both within the system and to bank cards of third parties;
  • withdraw money from the wallet to cards and accounts of any banks.

Important! The payment system has partnership agreements with a number of banks (Alfa-Bank, Promsvyazbank, Sberbank, etc.), allowing you to withdraw funds to their accounts instantly and without additional fees.

In addition, Yandex.Money provides its customers with the opportunity to receive a plastic card, the balance of which will be shared with the wallet. Thus, you will be able to pay with electronic money in regular stores, cafes, services, etc. Such a card can also be linked to contactless payment systems - ApplePay or SamsungPay. The cost of the card is 200 rubles for three years, no fees are charged when making payments through terminals.

Qiwi payment system

This payment system allows you to create a wallet using only a mobile phone number. A one-time password is sent to the specified number, which acts as an analogue of user identification for the system. With the wallet, the user can:

  • pay for cellular and Internet services;
  • make payments for loans of a number of banks;
  • pay fines to the traffic police;
  • top up parking bills;
  • pay for applications, gifts and voices in social networks;
  • pay for utilities (in some UK).

The system also allows you to transfer money between different wallets, send money to bank accounts and cards, send money through money transfer systems (postal, Contact, American Express, etc.).

Important! The wallet currency in Qiwi can only be Russian rubles.

To replenish your wallet, you can use one of the system's terminals, which are in abundance in almost any city. In addition, replenishment is possible through Internet banking systems, from a bank card account through ATMs, and even from a mobile phone balance. Qiwi cooperates with many microcredit companies, so that wallet owners can receive loans online to the accounts entered in the system.

Important! Also, any client can get a Qiwi plastic card, the balance of which will be shared with the wallet. The card is accepted for payments in most stores.

PayPal payment system

For those who are going to sell goods via the Internet, or, conversely, make purchases in foreign online stores and from individuals, the best electronic wallet is PayPal. This system was created specifically for settlements between sellers and buyers. The wallet identifier in it is the client's email address. This allows you to secure your personal data, including information about accounts, cards and other means of payment.

Important! A PayPal account is opened in the currency of the owner's country. For international payments, funds are converted automatically at the internal exchange rate of the system.

You can replenish your wallet using a bank card of any bank. But the further use of credited funds is very limited:

  • transfer to another PayPal account;
  • withdrawal of funds from the system (to a bank card linked to the wallet).

That is, it will not be possible to make any payments to third-party accounts using this service. But for shopping it is very convenient. PayPal has a very strict buyer protection program.
